Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- アンテナを用いて無線周波数励起場から電力を抽出することと、
前記アンテナから抽出された前記電力を用いてバイオメトリック認証モジュールの処理ユニットに電力を供給することと、
前記処理ユニットへ供給される前記電力を監視することと、
監視された前記電力のレベルに基づいて前記処理ユニットのクロック速度を制御することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記制御することが、高電力レベルが検出された時に前記処理ユニットを高クロック速度で動作させ、低電力レベルが検出された時に前記処理ユニットを低クロック速度で動作させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオメトリック認証モジュールが指紋認証モジュールである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記処理ユニットに電力を供給すると同時に前記アンテナから抽出された前記電力を用いて通信モジュールに電力を供給することをさらに含む、請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記制御することが、前記処理ユニットをその最大クロック速度で動作させると前記通信モジュールの動作を害してしまう時に前記処理ユニットをその最大クロック速度未満のクロック速度で動作させることを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記励起場がRFID読取装置により生成される、請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記アンテナおよび前記処理ユニットがRFIDデバイスのコンポーネントである、請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 無線周波数信号から電力を受信、抽出するためのアンテナと、
前記アンテナにより電力が供給され、クロック速度が変更可能な処理ユニットを有するバイオメトリック認証モジュールと、
前記処理ユニットへ供給される前記電力を監視するためのセンサーと、
監視された前記電力のレベルに基づいて前記処理ユニットのクロック速度を制御するためのクロック速度制御ロジックと
を備えてなる、デバイス。 - 前記バイオメトリック認証モジュールが指紋認証モジュールである、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御することが、高電力レベルが検出された時に前記処理ユニットを高クロック速度で動作させ、低電力レベルが検出された時に前記処理ユニットを低クロック速度で動作させることを含んでなる、請求項8または9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記アンテナから抽出された前記電力により電力が供給される通信モジュールをさらに備えてなる、請求項8乃至10のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記通信モジュールが前記アンテナを介して通信するためにアクティブロードモジュレーションを用いるように構成されてなる、請求項11に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御することが、前記処理ユニットをその最大クロック速度で動作させると前記通信モジュールの動作を害しうる時に前記処理ユニットをその最大クロック速度未満のクロック速度で動作させることを含んでなる、請求項11または12に記載のデバイス。
