Abstract
Description
本願は、2015年6月23日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/183,730号の利益を主張し、該出願の開示は参照により本願に組み込まれる。

Claims (29)
- ハウジングであって、加圧ステータ部位と流体接続された血流入口、前記ハウジング内に形成された流路を介して前記加圧ステータ部位と流体接続された繊維束部位、及び前記繊維束部位と流体接続された血流出口を有するハウジングと、
前記加圧ステータ部位内に回転可能に配置されて、前記血流入口から前記加圧ステータ部位に入る血液を加圧する羽根車と、
前記繊維束部位内に配置され、複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維を有する繊維束であって、前記複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維は、血液と前記複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維の内側との間でガス拡散できるようになっていて、前記複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維は、血液が、前記繊維束部位を通って流れるときに、前記複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維の周囲を流れるように配置され、前記複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維は、前記繊維束部位を通って前記流路から前記血流出口に向かう血液のバルク流の方向に対して略垂直方向に延びている繊維束と、
前記ハウジングに流体接続されるとともに、前記複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維の入口に流体接続されたガス入口と、
前記ハウジングに流体接続されるとともに、前記複数のガス透過可能な中空繊維の出口に流体接続されたガス出口と、を備える、
