Claims (31)
- 電気コネクタであって、少なくとも1つの螺旋状のカム溝を有するスタッドを備えた4分の1回転留め具と、少なくとも1つのカム従動子と付勢手段を備えたレセプタクルと、さらに、電気組立体に対する接続手段とを備え、前記電気コネクタは、第1の電気接触面と第2の電気接触面とを有し、前記第1と第2の面とを操作可能な係合状態に解放可能に接続し、前記面を横切る方向に一定の締め付け力を維持する前記電気コネクタ。
- 前記スタッドは、その一端にヘッドを有する本体を含む請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記本体は形状が略円筒形であり、長手方向の中心軸を有する請求項2に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記本体は、第1端部及び第2端部との間で延在し、前記本体の前記第2端部が前記ヘッドに装着される請求項2又は3に記載の電気コネクタ。

- 前記内側凹部は、前記スタッドとハウジングの結合を容易にするために少なくとも1つのカム従動子を備える請求項8に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記ハウジングの前記内側凹部が前記付勢手段をさらに備える請求項8又は9に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記付勢手段は、ばねを含む前記請求項のいずれかに記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記レセプタクルは、前記少なくとも1つのカム従動子を備えるインターフェースプレートを含む前記請求項のいずれかに記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記インターフェースプレートは、直径方向に対向する、内側に延在する一対のカム従動子を備える請求項12に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記ばねと前記インターフェースプレートが前記レセプタクル内に保持されている請求項12又は13に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記インターフェースプレートは、前記ばね圧に抗して前記レセプタクル内で軸方向に移動自在である請求項12〜14に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記コネクタは、さらに、開口を有するバッテリポストのようなポストを含む前記請求項のいずれかに記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記開口は、前記スタッドの前記本体を収容できる寸法である請求項16に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記開口の形状が略円形である請求項16又は17に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記レセプタクルは、前記パネルの厚み全体又は一部を包含できるよう、アンダーカット又は変形可能なフランジを使用して前記ポストに取り付けられている請求項16から18のいずれかに記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記電気組立体に対する接続手段がスペードを含む前記請求項のいずれかに記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記スペードは、開口を含む請求項20に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記開口は、略円筒形であり、前記ポスト内に設けられた前記開口と略同じ直径を有する請求項21に記載の電気コネクタ。

- 請求項1〜23のいずれかに記載の電気コネクタを含む電気接続を接続するための方法。
- 少なくとも1つの螺旋状のカム溝を有するスタッドと、少なくとも1つのカム従動子と付勢手段を有するレセプタクルとを接続するステップと、さらに、第1の電気接触面と第2の電気接触面を設けて、前記第1と第2の面とを操作可能な係合状態に解放可能に接続することとを備え、前記電気コネクタは前記面を横切る方向に一定の締め付け力を維持する請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記スタッドと前記レセプタクルの接続の前に、スペード内に設けられた開口を介して前記スタッドの前記本体を通すステップを含む請求項24又は25に記載の方法。
