Claims (15)
- データ収集デバイスを用いて薬剤の用量を記録する方法であって:
データ収集デバイスのカメラによって、薬剤送達デバイスの薬剤用量インジケータの少なくとも2つの画像を取り込むこと;
第1の文字識別技術を用いて、少なくとも2つの画像における薬剤用量インジケータによって表示された現在の薬剤投薬量を決定すること;
少なくとも2つの画像における現在の薬剤投薬量同士が異なるかどうかを決定すること;および
現在表示されている投薬量同士が異なっていないと決定したことに応答して、第2の文字識別技術を用いて少なくとも2つの画像の1つにおける少なくとも1つの文字を識別し、前記第2の文字識別技術の結果に基づいて、薬剤用量インジケータによって示された薬剤投薬量を決定すること

少なくとも2つの画像において現在の薬剤投薬量同士が異なっていないと決定したことに応答して、第2の文字識別技術を用いて画像における少なくとも1つの文字を識別し、前記第2の文字識別技術の結果に基づいて、薬剤用量インジケータによって示された薬剤投薬量を決定する

- 前記第1の文字識別技術は第1の光学式文字認識プロセスを含み、第2の文字識別技術は、第1の光学式文字認識プロセスとは異なる第2の光学式文字認識プロセスを含む、請求項12に記載のデータ収集デバイス。
- 前記処理装置は、薬剤投薬デバイスの少なくとも1つの構成要素の色を識別し、前記色に基づいて前記薬剤のタイプを決定するように構成される、請求項9〜14のいずれか1項に記載のデータ収集デバイス。
