Claims (5)
- 廃棄物を貯蔵する廃棄物貯蔵施設の遮水構造を構成する材料として用いられ、母材にベントナイトまたは他の粘土系材料を混合した混合土からなる遮水材料であって、
母材が、放射能汚染された汚染土壌、または、除染に伴って発生した除染土壌を洗浄することによって得られる洗浄砂であることを特徴とする遮水材料。 - 請求項1に記載の遮水材料を製造する方法であって、
汚染土壌または除染土壌を洗浄する工程と、
洗浄して得られた土壌から、母材に適する粒度範囲の洗浄砂を取り出す工程と、
取り出した洗浄砂と、ベントナイトまたは他の粘土系材料とを混合する工程とを備えることを特徴とする遮水材料の製造方法。 - 廃棄物を貯蔵する廃棄物貯蔵施設であって、請求項1に記載の遮水材料からなる遮水構造を備えることを特徴とする廃棄物貯蔵施設。
- 除染に伴って発生した除染土壌を廃棄物として貯蔵することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の廃棄物貯蔵施設。
- 請求項3または4に記載の廃棄物貯蔵施設を構築する方法であって、
廃棄物貯蔵施設を構築する地点の周辺で汚染土壌または除染土壌を取得する工程と、
取得した汚染土壌または除染土壌を洗浄する工程と、
洗浄して得られた土壌から、母材に適する粒度範囲の洗浄砂を取り出す工程と、
取り出した洗浄砂と、ベントナイトまたは他の粘土系材料とを混合する工程と、
混合して得られた遮水材料を用いて遮水構造を構築する工程とを備えることを特徴とする廃棄物貯蔵施設の構築方法。
