Description

The present invention relates to a vibration damping device and a vibration damping structure.

Conventionally, in order to suppress the shaking of structures caused by earthquakes and strong winds, vibration control devices are installed at corners surrounded by vertical members such as pillars of buildings and horizontal members such as beams and joists. There is.

As a damping device having a damping function for damping the vibration of a structure, for example, at the corner part of a vertical member and a horizontal member, one end of an arm member, which is a diagonal member, is rotated with the vertical member as the other member and the other end as a horizontal member. There is a structure in which a damping damper formed by arranging an elastic body or a viscoelastic body between plate members is provided in a connecting portion between a cross member and an arm portion (for example, Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2).

In addition, as a vibration damping device that has both a damping function and an original shape restoration function, the first link arm that is pivotally connected to the longitudinal member at the corner of the longitudinal member and the transverse member, and the pivotable to the transverse member A damping mechanism having a linked second link arm and a friction plate provided between the opposing surfaces of the two link arms is provided, and a protrusion formed at the tip of the arc-shaped first plate piece is formed in an arc shape. An original shape restoring mechanism is provided, comprising a plurality of spring plates arranged in a recess formed at the tip of the second plate piece, one end of each spring plate being connected to a vertical member and the other end to a horizontal member. (For example, Patent Document 3).

However, the damping mechanism used in the vibration damping devices such as Patent Documents 1 and 2 is inexpensive, but the friction plate, the elastic body, the viscoelastic body, and the like may deteriorate during long-term use. In addition, as in Patent Document 3, a vibration damping device having both a damping function and a restoring function has a complicated structure, is large, and is expensive.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a compact vibration damping device and vibration damping structure that are simple in structure, inexpensive, and hardly deteriorate during long-term use.

In order to achieve the above-described object, a first invention is a vibration damping device that is attached to a structure and absorbs vibration energy, and is fixed to the support member and the support member, and attenuates in the rotational direction. A rotary damper; a chain or belt that is rotatably arranged on the rotary damper; and an arm member having one end rotatably connected to the chain or belt, the arm member with respect to the support member When the arm is displaced, the rotary damper is rotated by the arm member via the chain or belt, and the vibration is attenuated by the rotational displacement of the rotary damper.

It is desirable that an elastic member is disposed on the support member, and the connection position between the arm member and the chain or belt is held by the elastic member.

It is desirable that a pair of the rotary dampers are arranged, and the chain or belt is hung on a sprocket or pulley fixed to the rotary damper.

According to the first invention, when the arm member is displaced with respect to the support member, the rotary damper fixed to the support member rotates through the chain or the belt by the arm member, and the vibration is attenuated by the rotational displacement of the rotary damper. Can be made. As a result, it is possible to realize a compact vibration damping device that is simple in structure, inexpensive, and hardly deteriorates during long-term use.

Further, if the connecting position between the arm member and the chain or belt is held by the elastic member arranged on the support member, in addition to the damping function by the rotary damper, the original position by the elastic member can be obtained without increasing the size of the vibration damping device. A restoration function can be added.

Also, if a pair of rotary dampers are arranged and a chain or belt is hung on a sprocket or pulley fixed to the rotary damper, the damping force by the rotary damper is increased and the rotational force of the chain or belt is reliably transmitted to the rotary damper. be able to.

A second invention includes the vibration damping device according to the first invention, wherein an end portion of the arm member is rotatably fixed to one of a pillar or a beam of the structure, and the support member is a pillar of the structure. Or it is the damping structure characterized by being fixed to the other of a beam.

According to the second invention, the end of the arm member of the vibration damping device of the first invention is pivotally fixed to one of the column or beam of the structure, and the support member is the column or beam of the structure. Since it is fixed to the other side, it is possible to realize a small vibration control structure that is simple and inexpensive, and that does not easily deteriorate during long-term use.

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a compact vibration damping device and vibration damping structure that are simple in structure and inexpensive, and that are unlikely to deteriorate during long-term use.

Hereinafter, the damping structure 10 concerning embodiment of this invention is demonstrated. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a vibration damping structure 10. The vibration damping device 1 is arranged in a cane-like shape at the junction of the column 3 which is the vertical member of the structure and the beam 5 which is the horizontal member. In the illustrated example, two damping devices 1 are arranged on the diagonal line of the rectangular portion formed by the pillar 3 and the beam 5.

Both ends of the vibration damping device 1 are fixed to the column 3 and the beam 5 by fixing screws 31, respectively. Further, the vibration damping device 1 is rotatable with respect to the column 3 and the beam 5. In addition, you may arrange | position the damping device 1 in all the corner | angular parts.

When the structure vibrates due to an earthquake or the like, the column 3 and the beam 5 are relatively displaced, and, for example, the angle between the column 3 and the beam 5 changes. When the angle between the column 3 and the beam changes, the distance between the vibration damping device 1 and the fixed portion between the column 3 and the beam 5 changes. When the distance changes, the vibration damping device 1 operates to absorb vibration energy.

Next, the vibration damping device 1 will be described in detail. 2 to 4 are exploded perspective views of the vibration damping device 1. The vibration damping device 1 mainly includes a support member 4, a rotary damper 6, a pulley 7, a belt 9, an arm member 13, and the like.

The support member 4 is a member having a substantially L-shaped cross section, for example, and one surface serves as a fixing portion for the fixing target portion. A pair of rotary dampers 6 are fixed to a surface perpendicular to the fixing portion of the support member 4 with a predetermined distance therebetween. The rotary damper 6 exhibits a damping function with respect to the operation of the shaft 17 in the rotational direction.

As shown in FIG. 3, pulleys 7 are attached to the shafts 17 of the rotary damper 6. The pulley 7 has a hole 19 having a shape corresponding to the shape of the rectangular shaft 17, for example. For this reason, when the pulley 7 is attached to the rotating damper 6, the rotating operation of the pulley 7 and the rotating operation of the rotating damper 6 are synchronized.

Further, as shown in FIG. 4, a belt 9 is hung on the pair of pulleys 7. As the belt 9 moves, each pulley 7 rotates in the same direction. That is, the rotary damper 6 can be rotated by the movement of the belt 9. A fixing portion 11 is provided on a part of the belt 9. The fixing part 11 is provided with a hole 27.

A pair of arm members 13 are attached to the fixed portion 11. The arm member 13 is formed with holes 23 in the vicinity of both ends. The bolt 21 is inserted so as to penetrate the hole 23 of the arm member 13 and the hole 27 of the fixing portion 11, and is fixed by the nut 25. As described above, the one end of the arm member 13 and the fixing portion 11 are connected to each other so as to be rotatable.

FIG. 5 is an assembled perspective view of the vibration damping device 1, and FIG. 6 is a front view of the vibration damping device 1. FIG. 6 shows a state where the vibration damping device 1 is attached to a column or beam with a fixed screw 31. As described above, the vicinity of one end of the pair of arm members 13 is arranged so as to sandwich the fixing portion 11. The arm member 13 is rotatably attached to the fixed portion 11 with a bolt 21 and a nut 25.

A support member 15 is attached to the other end of the arm member 13. The support member 15 is a fixed portion to a fixed object such as the column 3 and the beam 5. A hole 29 is provided in the support member 15. The bolt 21 is inserted so as to penetrate the hole 23 of the arm member 13 and the hole 29 of the support member 15, and is fixed by the nut 25. Thus, one end of the arm member 13 and the support member 15 are connected to each other so as to be rotatable. For this reason, even if the angle between the column 3 and the beam 5 changes, the vibration damping device 1 can follow this change in angle.

Next, the operation of the vibration damping device 1 will be described. FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating a state in which the angle between the column 3 and the beam 5 is changed and the support member 4 and the support member 15 are displaced in a direction in which the distance between them becomes closer. That is, the external force is applied in the direction in which the support member 4 and the support member 15 of the vibration damping device 1 are compressed from both ends (arrow A in the figure).

When the arm member 13 is pushed from the support member 15 side to the support member 4 side, the belt 9 is moved by the arm member 13 (arrow B in the figure). As the belt 9 moves, the pulley 7 and the rotary damper 6 rotate (arrow C in the figure). At this time, a damping force is generated in each rotary damper 6.

FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating a state in which the swing direction is reversed, the angle between the column 3 and the beam 5 is changed, and the support member 4 and the support member 15 are displaced in a direction away from each other. That is, the external force is applied in the direction in which the support member 4 and the support member 15 of the vibration damping device 1 are pulled from both ends (arrow D in the figure).

When the arm member 13 is pulled from the support member 4 side to the support member 15 side, the belt 9 is moved in the direction opposite to the above-described direction by the arm member 13 (arrow E in the figure). As described above, with the movement of the belt 9, the pulley 7 and the rotary damper 6 rotate in the reverse direction (arrow F in the figure), and at this time, a damping force is generated in each rotary damper 6.

As described above, the belt 9 moves in the respective directions via the arm member 13 depending on the direction of the swing, whereby the pulley 7 and the rotary damper 6 can be rotated forward and backward. For this reason, a damping force can be exhibited by rotation of each rotary damper 6, and the vibration of the structure can be suppressed.

Note that the length of the arm member 13 is the same as the attachment target portion even when the support member 4 and the support member 15 are closest to the moving range of the belt 9 by the arm member 13 (the operation range of the vibration damping device 1). The length is set such that a certain pillar 3 and the support member 4 do not interfere with each other.

In this embodiment, the flat belt 9 is used. However, the belt 9 may have a V cross-sectional shape. In this case, the pulley 7 corresponding to the belt shape is applied. Further, a chain may be used instead of the belt 9. By providing the fixing portion 11 in a part of the chain, the same function can be exhibited. In this case, a sprocket may be attached to the rotary damper 6 instead of the pulley 7.

Moreover, in this embodiment, although a pair of rotation damper 6 was used, the rotation damper 6 may be one. For example, instead of one rotary damper 6, the pulley 7 may be directly attached to the support member 4 so as to be rotatable. Even in this case, a single damping damper 6 can exhibit a damping function.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, vibration energy can be efficiently absorbed by the rotational displacement of the rotary damper 6. For this reason, it is possible to obtain a small vibration damping device that is difficult to deteriorate during long-term use with a small and inexpensive member. Further, since the rotary damper 6 is used, it can be easily applied to a relatively large displacement.

Moreover, a large damping force can be obtained by using a pair of rotating dampers 6. For this reason, a small rotating damper can be applied without using a large rotating damper.

Next, a second embodiment will be described. FIG. 9 is a front view of the vibration damping device 1a according to the second embodiment. In addition, in the following description, about the structure which show | plays the same function as the damping device 1, the same code | symbol as FIGS. 1-8 is attached | subjected, and the overlapping description is abbreviate | omitted.

The vibration damping device 1a has substantially the same configuration as the vibration damping device 1, but differs in that an elastic member 33 is provided. A fixing portion 34 stands on one surface of the support member 4. The elastic member 33 is fixed to the fixing portion 34. That is, the elastic member 33 is fixed to the support member 4.

The pair of elastic members 33 are disposed so as to face each other, and are connected to the fixed portion 11 in the vicinity of the center portion of the support member 4. That is, the fixing portion 11 is sandwiched between the pair of elastic members 33.

As described above, when the arm member 13 moves with respect to the support member 4, a force is applied to the elastic member 33. For this reason, the elastic member 33 exhibits the restoring force which tries to return the fixing | fixed part 11 to an original position. For this reason, after the earthquake or the like is settled, the connecting position of the arm member 13 and the belt 9 is always held at a fixed position.

According to the second embodiment, an effect similar to that of the first embodiment can be obtained. At this time, since the displacement of the fixing portion 11 is restored by the elastic member 33, when the fixing portion 11 is displaced after the vibration is stopped, the elastic member 33 restores the restoring force to the original state.
