開閉扉が設けられた筐体の内部に、車載通信機との間で無線通信を行う通信モジュールを収容して構成された路側無線通信機において、前記筐体側及び前記開閉扉側のうちの一方側の部材に設けられたマグネットと、
前記筐体側及び前記開閉扉側のうちの他方側の部材に設けられ、前記開閉扉が閉扉された状態で前記マグネットに吸着する磁性部材と、を備え、
前記開閉扉が開扉されたときに、前記磁性部材と前記マグネットとの吸着が解除されることで、前記開閉扉の開扉を検知する、路側無線通信機の開扉検知装置であって、
前記マグネット及び磁性部材のうちの少なくとも一方は、前記開閉扉が閉扉された状態で当該開閉扉の開閉基端側から開閉先端側へ向かう方向に細長く形成されており、
前記筐体又は前記開閉扉に設けられ、前記開閉扉の閉扉状態から、前記開閉扉が開扉して前記開扉検知装置が前記開閉扉の開扉を検知するまでの間、前記マグネットの前記開閉先端側を隠す突起部材を備える、路側無線通信機の開扉検知装置。
