扉と扉枠との隙間から突出する係止部材に取り付けられ、施錠状態において前記係止部材から離脱できないことで扉の開きを阻止する補助錠において、
当該補助錠の前面形状が正円とされ、その外周に施錠と解錠のために回転操作される環状操作部が設けられてなることを特徴とする補助錠。
