In the coating materials of Patent Documents 1 to 3, if the surface of the coating material is not pressed many times before the coating material dries, it cannot be finished into a glossy wall surface. It is required and takes a long time to work.

The present invention has been made in view of the above matters, and the object of the present invention is for a glossy wall surface that does not require skill of an operator and can be finished to a glossy wall surface in a short time.
The wall surface finishing method according to the second aspect of the present invention is as follows.
Applying the glossy wall surface coating material according to the first aspect of the present invention to the wall surface;
Polishing the surface of the finishing layer formed by drying the glossy wall surface coating material with an abrasive, and
It is characterized by that.

Moreover, it is preferable to grind | polish using the sander to which the said abrasive | polishing material was attached.

The glossy wall surface coating material according to the present invention can be finished to a glossy wall surface by simply polishing the surface with an abrasive after drying the glossy wall surface coating material. Therefore, it is possible to finish the wall surface with glossiness in a short time without requiring skill.

The glossy wall surface coating material and the wall surface finishing method will be described in detail. In the present specification, “glossy wall surface coating material” represents a composition containing water, and “glossy wall surface substrate” is defined to represent a composition not containing water. explain.

(Glossy wall paint)
The glossy wall surface coating material is for forming a wall finishing layer, and includes aluminum hydroxide, a synthetic resin, a thickener, a dispersant, and water.

Aluminum hydroxide functions as an aggregate and has a function of imparting gloss to the surface of the finishing layer by having an average particle size of 30 μm or less. When the average particle size of aluminum hydroxide is larger than 30 μm, sufficient gloss cannot be obtained. The cause is not clear, but it is considered that when the average particle size is large, the aluminum hydroxide particles in the finishing layer are difficult to be uniformly arranged, so the reflection of light is scattered and the surface reflection is difficult to occur. . Further, the smaller the average particle size of aluminum hydroxide, the better the glossiness, and it is preferably 27 μm or less, more preferably 18 μm or less.

Aluminum hydroxide is contained in the glossy wall surface coating material in an amount of 40 to 60% by weight. When the content of aluminum hydroxide is less than the above range, the viscosity of the glossy wall surface coating material is insufficient, and when the glossy wall surface coating material is applied to the wall surface, it tends to sag and the separation of the wrinkles becomes worse. For this reason, the coating workability is deteriorated. Moreover, the ground cannot be concealed, and the ground is transparent, which may impair the beauty. On the other hand, if the amount is more than the above range, the glossy wall surface coating material is rough and difficult to apply to a certain thickness, the workability of application deteriorates, and the content of the synthetic resin is relatively reduced. The strength of the layer is reduced. The aluminum hydroxide content is more preferably 45 to 60% by weight, and still more preferably 50 to 60% by weight.

Moreover, as long as an average particle diameter is 30 micrometers or less, you may contain multiple types of aluminum hydroxide of a different average particle diameter. Due to the presence of the aluminum hydroxide having a large particle size, the finishing layer can be easily thickened and the coating workability is improved. In addition, by filling the aluminum hydroxide having a small particle size between the aluminum particles having a large particle size, the mechanical strength of the finishing layer can be improved while maintaining good gloss of the finishing layer. The function can also be exhibited more.

The synthetic resin may be water-soluble or water-dispersible, and any conventionally known resin can be used without particular limitation as long as it functions as a binder and has a film-forming ability. Synthetic resins include, for example, acrylic resins, polyvinyl acetate resins, polyurethane resins, silicone resins, fluorine resins, epoxy resins, phenol resins, polyester resins, alkyd resins, polycarbonate resins, and melamine resins. Resins etc. are mentioned, and these can be used alone or in combination of two or more. These synthetic resins may be modified, for example, like a urethane-modified acrylic resin, may be graft-polymerized, or may be in the form of dispersed particles. In order to increase the water resistance of the finishing layer, an acrylic resin is preferable as the synthetic resin. Examples of acrylic resins include acrylic acid esters, acrylic methacrylic copolymers, acrylic styrene copolymers, and acrylic resin ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers.

Further, the synthetic resin is contained in an amount of 10 to 23% by weight in the glossy wall surface coating material. When the content of the synthetic resin is less than the above range, mechanical strength that can be polished with a sander cannot be secured in the step of polishing the surface of the finishing layer, which will be described later, and the water resistance of the finishing layer is lowered. On the other hand, when the content of the synthetic resin is larger than the above range, the curing rate becomes too fast, and the wrinkle separation becomes worse. As a result, the ground cannot be concealed, and the ground may be seen through and the appearance may deteriorate. Further, the content of the synthetic resin is more preferably 10 to 20% by weight, and further preferably 10 to 15% by weight.

In addition, the synthetic resin may be used in the form of a synthetic resin emulsion. In this case, the content of the solid content (synthetic resin) in the synthetic resin emulsion in the glossy wall surface coating material is within the above range of the synthetic resin content.

Thickener prevents sedimentation of ingredients blended into the glossy wall coating material to improve the stability of the gloss wall coating material, and finishes it with an appropriate viscosity, providing both coatability and thixotropy. This balance is intended. The thickener may be any thickener that is added to common water-based paints, such as methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, water-soluble polysaccharides, proteins, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylates, and anhydrous silica. , Synthetic mica, metal soap, organic bentonite and the like.

The thickener may be added in an amount that can be adjusted to a desired viscosity. For example, it is 0.1 to 1.0% by weight, preferably 0.2 to 0.8% by weight, More preferably, it is 3 to 0.6% by weight. If the content of the thickener is too high, the viscosity of the glossy wall surface coating material becomes too high. To do. On the other hand, when there is little content of a thickener, the viscosity required for application | coating of the coating material for glossy wall surfaces cannot be obtained, and the apply | coated coating material for glossy wall surfaces will sag.

A dispersing agent fulfill | performs the function which raises the dispersibility of the component mix | blended with the coating material for glossy wall surfaces, such as aluminum hydroxide. In particular, if the aluminum hydroxide is not uniformly dispersed, it becomes difficult to give sufficient gloss. Examples of the dispersant include sodium polyphosphates and surfactants. Examples of the surfactant include an anionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, and an amphoteric surfactant. The dispersing agent only needs to contain an amount capable of uniformly dispersing the components of the glossy wall surface coating material, for example, 0.1 to 1.0% by weight, 0.1 to 0.8% by weight. It is preferable that it is 0.2 to 0.6% by weight.

The water content in the glossy wall surface coating material is about 25 to 45% by weight. In addition, when a synthetic resin is used as a synthetic resin emulsion, the total water content including the water content in the synthetic resin emulsion is the range of the water content.

In addition to the above components, the glossy wall surface coating material may contain additives such as deodorants, antiseptics, fungicides, antifoaming agents, antifreezing agents, and formaldehyde adsorption / decomposition agents as necessary. Good.

The glossy wall surface coating material may further contain a color pigment. Since the glossy wall surface coating material does not contain slaked lime, white blossom does not occur, and thus various coloring pigments can be contained.

The colored pigment is added to and mixed with the glossy wall surface coating material before using the glossy wall surface coating material, that is, in the form of a set of the glossy wall surface coating material and the color pigment. May be. In this way, by preparing a single type of glossy wall surface coating material and a plurality of types of color pigments, a color pigment exhibiting a desired color can be selected appropriately at the site of use, and a glossy wall surface coating can be selected. By using it by adding to the material, it is possible to form finishing layers of various colors, which is excellent in convenience.

(Glossy wall base material)
The base material for glossy wall surface is the above-described glossiness by adding water to the glossy wall surface coating material described above, that is, at the site of use, kneading and homogenizing the components. It is a form used as a coating material for wall surfaces. Since the glossy wall surface base material does not contain water, when water is added to the glossy wall surface base material, the aluminum hydroxide, synthetic resin, thickener and Each content range is adjusted so that it may become the content range of a dispersing agent. Specifically, the contents of aluminum hydroxide, synthetic resin, thickener, and dispersant in the base material for glossy wall surface are in the following ranges.
Aluminum hydroxide: 60 to 85% by weight (preferably 70 to 85% by weight, more preferably 75 to 85% by weight)
Synthetic resin (solid content): 14 to 35% by weight (preferably 14 to 30% by weight, more preferably 14 to 23% by weight)
-Thickener: 0.15-1.5 wt% (preferably 0.3-1.2 wt%, more preferably 0.4-0.9 wt%)
Dispersant: 0.15 to 1.5% by weight (preferably 0.15 to 1.2% by weight, more preferably 0.3 to 0.8% by weight)

(Wall surface finishing method)
The surface finishing method of the wall surface is a method of finishing the wall surface having gloss using the above glossy wall surface coating material. First, the above-mentioned glossy wall surface coating material is applied to the wall surface to be constructed and dried to form a finishing layer. The surface of the finishing layer is not glossy at this stage. The glossy wall surface coating material can be applied by a known method such as a method using an applicator or applicator such as a scissors, a roller, a brush, or a spray gun.

Then, the surface of the formed finishing layer is polished with an abrasive. When the smoothness of the portion where the finishing layer is polished increases, the surface becomes glossy and a glossy wall surface is obtained.

Abrasives are made of a base material such as paper, with abrasive grains coated with an adhesive, such as abrasive paper, water-resistant abrasive paper, abrasive cloth, and grinding stones. Anything can be used without limitation.

The finishing layer can be polished using an electric tool such as a sander (electrical sander) to which an abrasive is attached. Therefore, since a skilled work of producing gloss by pressing with a conventional scissors is not required, anyone can finish a glossy wall surface easily in a short time.

Alternatively, after applying a base coating material to the wall surface and drying to form a base layer, the surface of the base layer may be coated with a glossy wall surface coating material. The base coating material is for filling the unevenness of the wall surface and processing smoothly, and conventionally known base coating materials such as those using calcium carbonate as an aggregate can be used. Moreover, the base coating material which uses aluminum hydroxide as an aggregate can also be used.

Furthermore, as described above, coloring pigments exhibiting various colors can be added to the glossy wall surface coating material. Since the coating material for glossy wall surfaces does not contain slaked lime, white flower does not occur. For this reason, the wall surface of various colors can be formed.

Various patterns can also be applied. For example, the glossy wall surface coating material is applied so as to be uneven. Concavities and convexities may be formed by a wrinkle operation, or the concavities and convexities may be formed by rolling a roller having irregularities on the surface before the coated glossy wall surface coating material is dried. Then, after the glossy wall surface coating material is dried to form a finish layer having irregularities on the surface, only the convex portions are polished so that the convex portions become glossy glossy surfaces, while the concave portions are glossy. It will not have sex. By doing in this way, the wall surface in which various patterns were formed is obtained.
