Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program.
In recent years, video surveillance systems have been required to monitor not only conventional stores such as convenience stores and rental video stores, but also wide areas such as shopping streets, shopping malls, parks and the like outdoors.
In addition, a technique for learning normal behavior such as a person from video information of a network camera and detecting behavior deviating from the learned normal behavior as an abnormal behavior has entered a practical stage. There is an increasing need for a video monitoring system that supports video monitoring work that has been performed visually by a monitor by using a technique for detecting abnormal behavior.
When a monitoring video is centrally monitored in a management room such as a security center using a video monitoring system, the monitor monitors the video acquired from a plurality of network cameras by displaying a list on the screen. At this time, the monitoring person who performs monitoring must simultaneously confirm a large number of moving monitoring images, and fatigue is accumulated only by watching. Also, because it is a task of constantly checking the video, it requires concentration and may be missed when monitoring for a long time.
On the other hand, in
However, in the conventional technology, if abnormalities occur frequently, alerts are increased too much, and the confirmation work is rather troublesome. In addition, even if the monitor confirms that there is no problem by looking at the screen, the video surveillance system performs highlighting and alert notification unless the conditions for detecting an abnormality are resolved, so that many times of confirmation are required. Resulting in.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a technique for reducing unnecessary alerts.

It is characterized by providing.
According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce unnecessary alerts.

The function of a certain processing unit may be provided in another device, or all the functions may be integrated into one device.
<Data structure related to exclusion setting information>
Next, an example of a data table related to exclusion setting information managed by the exclusion setting
The table 401 includes items of exclusion setting ID, exclusion setting time, camera ID, exclusion target ID, and detection abnormality. The exclusion setting ID is an ID given to manage exclusion setting information. The exclusion setting time represents the time when exclusion is set for the target. The camera ID is an ID for identifying a network camera that has acquired a video in which an object for which exclusion has been set is shown. The exclusion target ID is an ID for uniquely identifying a target for which exclusion has been set. The detection abnormality indicates the type of abnormality in which the target for which the exclusion setting is set is determined. By referring to the information in this table, it is possible to grasp the history of exclusion setting or no exclusion setting.
A table 402 includes items of camera ID and installation position. The camera ID is the same as the camera ID described in the table 401. The installation position is information indicating the position where the camera is installed, such as “1F before the stairs”.
The table 403 includes items of an exclusion target ID and an exclusion target area. The exclusion target ID is the same as the camera ID described in the table 401. The exclusion target area is information indicating a position in the video where the exclusion target is shown. “Top: 100 px” and “Left: 800 px” indicate positions of 100 pixels vertically and 800 pixels horizontally from the upper left corner of the video. “Width: 100 px” and “Height: 200 px” indicate rectangular areas to be excluded from the above positions, and the size of the rectangle is 100 pixels vertically and 200 pixels horizontally.
FIG. 5 shows an example of a rectangular area to be excluded.
<処理>
<Processing>
Hereinafter, the procedure of processing performed by the
In step S <b> 604, the
In step S <b> 605, the
In step S <b> 607, the exclusion setting
In step S608, the exclusion setting
In step S610, the
In this embodiment, in S607, the user's input is accepted and the exclusion target is set. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, there is no input from the user even if a predetermined time elapses after the alert is issued. You may make it set a thing as an exclusion object. This is equivalent to assuming that the system determines that there is no problem if the supervisor takes no action when alerts occur frequently.
In S602, if an analysis is performed on each video frame, an abnormality may be detected for a moment, or it may be determined that there is no abnormality for a moment. If exclusion setting or cancellation is performed for such temporary outliers, the usefulness of the system may be impaired. For this reason, instead of calculating an abnormal value from one video frame, the abnormal value may be calculated in consideration of preceding and subsequent frames. This makes it possible to calculate an abnormal value that is robust against temporary outliers.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to suppress alert notification of abnormalities that occur continuously by setting the abnormalities that occur as exclusion targets. Thereby, the trouble of confirmation by the supervisor is reduced, and the possibility of missing another abnormality can be reduced.
(Second embodiment)
In the first embodiment, it has been shown that it is possible to suppress alert notifications of continuously occurring abnormalities by setting the abnormalities that occur as exclusion targets. On the other hand, in 2nd embodiment, even if it is a case where the object which becomes the cause of abnormality which has suppressed alert alerting moves, the example which suppresses alert alerting continuously is shown.
First, the movement of an object that causes an abnormality will be described. For example, when a person who detects an abnormality “squatting” moves in a squatting state, the abnormality state “squatting” continues but the person who caused the abnormality is moving. “A target that causes an abnormality moves” refers to such a situation. Some types of abnormalities such as “fighting” are accompanied by movement. For example, it includes a case where the subject moves while maintaining a state that causes the abnormality detection, such as when a person who dances on the street performance is erroneously detected as an abnormality such as “fight”. The overall outline and data structure of the video surveillance system in the second embodiment are the same as those in the first embodiment, and thus description thereof is omitted.
<Software configuration>
FIG. 8 is a block diagram showing a
An example of this tracking process will be described. In the tracking process, the position information of the target is received from the video at the current time, and the target at the periphery of the position is extracted from the video at the next time. Next, the target at the current time is compared with the extracted target to determine whether or not they are the same target. If it is determined that they are the same target, the position information of the target is additionally held as a result of tracking. This is repeated for each frame of the video to track the target. As a result, it is possible to track which position the target is at which time. The tracking process is not limited to the method described here, and any method may be used as long as it can be determined whether or not the object is the same even when the target moves in the video.
<処理>
<Processing>
Hereinafter, the procedure of processing performed by the
In step S902, the
In step S903, the
As described above, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to continuously suppress unnecessary alert notification even when an object causing an abnormality that suppresses alert notification moves. Therefore, even when the object causing the abnormality moves, unnecessary alerts can be appropriately suppressed, and the labor of the supervisor can be reduced.
