Abstract

Claims (16)
- 輪郭形成された表面を処理するための表面処理アセンブリであって、
少なくとも第1の輪郭形状及び第2の輪郭形状を有する調節可能な基部と、
前記調節可能な基部に連結された複数のアプリケータヘッドであって、前記輪郭形成された表面に表面処理を適用するように各々が構成されている複数のアプリケータヘッドと、
前記調節可能な基部に動作可能に連結され、前記第1の輪郭形状と前記第2の輪郭形状との間で前記調節可能な基部を操作するように構成されているアクチュエータと
を備える表面処理アセンブリ。 - 前記アクチュエータが、前記調節可能な基部に動作可能に連結され、前記第1の輪郭形状と前記第2の輪郭形状との間で前記調節可能な基部を操作するように構成された一対のはさみアームを備える、請求項1に記載の表面処理アセンブリ。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記調節可能な基部に動作可能に連結され、前記第1の輪郭形状と前記第2の輪郭形状との間で前記調節可能な基部を操作するように構成された複数のリニアアクチュエータを備える、請求項1に記載の表面処理アセンブリ。
- 前記調節可能な基部が複合材料を含む、請求項1に記載の表面処理アセンブリ。
- 前記複合材料が、複合樹脂に分散した磁気材料を含み、前記アクチュエータが、前記第1の輪郭形状と前記第2の輪郭形状との間で前記磁気材料及び前記複合樹脂を操作するように構成された少なくとも1つの電磁石を備える、請求項4に記載の表面処理アセンブリ。
- 前記輪郭形成された表面の既存の形状を検出し、輪郭データセットを生成するように構成されたセンサと、前記アクチュエータを操作して、前記輪郭データセットに基づき前記調節可能な基部を操作するように前記アクチュエータに通信可能に接続されたコントローラとを更に備える、請求項1に記載の表面処理アセンブリ。
- 前記複数のアプリケータヘッドが、装飾層である前記表面処理を前記輪郭形成された表面に適用するように構成された複数のインクジェット印刷ヘッドを備える、請求項1に記載の表面処理アセンブリ。
- 前記第1の輪郭形状が第1の半径を含み、前記第2の輪郭形状が第2の半径を含む、請求項1に記載の表面処理アセンブリ。
- 輪郭形成された表面のターゲットエリアを処理する方法であって、
調節可能な基部の上に複数のアプリケータヘッドを設けることであって、各アプリケータヘッドが前記郭形成された表面に表面処理を適用するように構成されている、設けることと、
前記輪郭形成された表面の既存の形状を決定することと、
前記輪郭形成された表面の決定された前記既存の形状に基づき、アクチュエータで所望の輪郭形状に前記調節可能な基部を操作し、これにより前記アプリケータヘッドを前記ターゲットエリアに隣接して位置付けることと、
前記輪郭形成された表面の前記ターゲットエリアに前記表面処理を適用するために、前記複数のアプリケータヘッドを選択的に操作することと
を含む方法。 - 前記輪郭形成された表面の前記既存の形状を決定することが、前記輪郭形成された表面をセンサで走査することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 飛行機の外面を処理するための表面処理システムであって、
少なくとも第1の半径及び第2の半径を有する調節可能な基部と、
前記調節可能な基部に連結された複数のアプリケータヘッドであって、前記飛行機の前記外面に表面処理を適用するように各々が構成されている複数のアプリケータヘッドと、
前記調節可能な基部に動作可能に連結され、少なくとも前記第1の半径と前記第2の半径との間で前記調節可能な基部を操作するように構成されたアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータに通信可能に接続されたコントローラであって、
前記アクチュエータを操作して、前記調節可能な基部を前記第1の半径又は前記第2の半径に対して操作し、前記複数のアプリケータヘッドを選択的に操作し、前記飛行機の前記外面に表面処理を適用するようにプログラムされたコントローラと
を備える表面処理システム。 - 前記アクチュエータが、前記調節可能な基部に動作可能に連結され、少なくとも前記第1の半径と前記第2の半径との間で前記調節可能な基部を操作するように構成された一対のはさみアームを備える、請求項11に記載の表面処理システム。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記調節可能な基部に動作可能に連結され、少なくとも前記第1の半径と前記第2の半径との間で前記調節可能な基部を操作するように構成された複数のリニアアクチュエータを備える、請求項11に記載の表面処理システム。
- 前記調節可能な基部が複合材料を含む、請求項11に記載の表面処理システム。
- 前記飛行機の前記外面の既存の形状を検出し、輪郭データセットを生成するように構成されたセンサを更に備え、前記コントローラが、前記アクチュエータを操作して、前記輪郭データセットに基づき、前記調節可能な基部を操作する、請求項11に記載の表面処理システム。
- 前記複数のアプリケータヘッドが、装飾層である前記表面処理を前記外面に適用するように構成された複数のインクジェット印刷ヘッドを備える、請求項11に記載の表面処理システム。
