Abstract
Description
本開示の一態様によれば、以下のプロトコールが考慮される。複合材料翼外板のスカーフ継ぎ(scarfing)及び復元を含む衝撃損傷の補修が実行される。翼外板下方パネルの内装部分は、アルミニウムシアタイに隣接して配向されている。シアタイはアルミニウム合金2024から作られるが、疲労特性に悪影響を及ぼすことなく、例えば、200°Fを超える温度に安全に曝露することができない金属材料又は非金属材料には、限定するものではないが、アルミニウム合金2024、7050、7075などが含まれることが考慮されている。熱電装置(ペルチェ素子)は、図2に(20)で示したようにシアタイ「足部」に配置される。熱電対はシアタイ「足部」に沿った複数の場所に配置され、熱電対ワイヤを介して熱電装置コントローラに取り付けられている。コントローラは、翼外板の全体硬化サイクル中に、200°Fを超えない温度でシアタイ「足部」の温度を維持するように設定されている。次にペルチェ素子が起動される。熱源は、複合材料から作られる翼外板の近傍に配置される。熱電装置がシアタイ「足部」の温度を200°Fを超えない温度に維持している間に、熱源は起動され、外板は350°Fで硬化される。
