Description

The present invention relates to a bottle container.

A synthetic resin bottle container typified by a PET bottle is widely used as a beverage container because of its excellent light weight.

This type of bottle container is composed of a bottle body having an opening for filling and taking out beverages, a lid for closing the opening of the bottle body, a label wound around the bottle body, and the like. Yes.
And a bottle container is handled in the form where the trunk | drum which comprises the height direction center part of the said bottle main body is hold | gripped by the user at the time of taking out a drink.

In recent years, due to the demand for resource saving, the bottle body has been required to be thin.
However, when the bottle main body is thinned, for example, when the body portion of the bottle main body is gripped, there is a possibility that the force against the gripping may not be sufficiently exerted, and thus the bottle container may be difficult to hold. .

As a method of improving the difficulty of holding such a bottle container, a body portion of the bottle body is formed slightly thinner than a shoulder portion above the bottle body.
In addition, it has been conventionally adopted as a method for improving the ease of holding a bottle container by providing a plurality of ribs that circulate around the bottle body at the center in the height direction of the bottle body to improve the catch on the fingertip ( For example, Patent Document 1).

By the way, in recent years, it has been demanded in general logistics to reduce packaging materials.
For this reason, PET bottles, etc., can be bundled and transported by shrink-packing them with heat-shrinkable films instead of storing them in cardboard boxes and transporting them in a conventional manner. Is coming to be done. At this time, due to the heat shrinkage of the heat shrinkable film, the plastic bottle in the shrink pack is pressed from the outside. Since the outer surface of the conventional PET bottle is a curved surface, when the PET bottles are arranged in an upright state, the PET bottles are in a point contact or line contact state.
And in the bottle container which made the center part of the bottle main body slender, a contact state turns into a point contact or a line contact in the comparatively high position and low position of a bottle main body, and it will be in the state which does not contact mutually in a trunk | drum. When a strong pressing force is generated at the time of packaging with a heat-shrinkable film, the bottle container located outside has a problem that the bottle main body is deformed because it cannot resist the pressing force in the body portion.

A bundle of shrink-packed bottle containers is usually stacked in a plurality of stages in the vertical direction during transportation or storage.
Thereby, since a load is applied to the bottle container in the vertical direction, the conventional bottle container has a problem that it is more easily deformed by the pressing force from the side by the heat shrink film and the load.
It should be noted that the deformation of the bottle container does not occur only when the shrink-packed ones are stacked, and suppressing the deformation is a matter that is widely required for the conventional bottle containers.

In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a bottle container that hardly deforms due to a load even when the weight of the bottle body is further reduced.

The present invention is a bottle container comprising a bottle body made of synthetic resin,
The bottle body has a cylindrical body with a rectangular column shape,
The horizontal cross-sectional shape of the body is a substantially rectangular shape having a long side and a short side,
The trunk has a long side having the long side and a short side having the short side,
The body portion is provided with a rib forming portion having a rib protruding inside the container at a central portion in the height direction of the bottle body,
The rib is provided in a direction around the trunk,
The body includes an upper surface contact portion and a lower surface that are in surface contact with the other bottle main body at an upper portion and a lower portion than the rib forming portion when the bottle main body is arranged in an upright state with another bottle main body having the same shape. Each has a contact portion,
In the bottle container, the virtual plane extending below the upper surface contact portion, the virtual plane extending above the lower surface contact portion, and the outer portion of the rib forming portion are flush with each other.

Since the bottle main body of such a bottle container is flush with the upper surface contact portion, the lower surface contact portion, and the outer portion of the rib forming portion, it stands upright with other bottle main bodies having the same shape. When arranged in a state, the other bottle main body and the long side surfaces are in contact with each other from the upper surface contact portion above the rib forming portion to the lower surface contact portion below. Thereby, even if the force which is going to bend a bottle main body is applied to such a bottle container, since it can disperse | distribute stress by surface contact, it becomes difficult to produce the deformation | transformation by a load.

Further, in the bottle container according to the present invention, preferably, the body portion is outward from the outer portion of the rib forming portion in the horizontal direction above and below the rib forming portion on the short side surface. Each has an upper bulge and a lower bulge.

Such a bottle container has the upper bulging portion and the lower bulging portion on the short side surface, so that the bottle container has a point contact or line with other bottle containers as compared with a bottle container having a bulging portion on the long side surface. This has the advantage that contact can be reduced. Further, such a bottle container has the upper bulging part and the lower bulging part, so that when the label is attached to the rib forming part, the label is peeled off by contact with another bottle container. It has the advantage that it can be prevented. Furthermore, such a bottle container has the advantage that it has excellent design properties by having the upper bulging portion and the lower bulging portion.

In the bottle container according to the present invention, preferably, the bottle body is formed in a cylindrical neck portion having an opening formed at an upper end, and a cylindrical shape that tapers from an upper end of the upper surface contact portion toward a lower end of the neck portion. With shoulders,
The shoulder portion has a curved portion that curves toward the outside of the bottle body,
The curvature radius of the curved portion is 83 mm or more.

Such a bottle container has an advantage that deformation of the shoulder due to a load applied in the vertical direction can be suppressed when the radius of curvature of the curved portion is 83 mm or more.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a bottle container that is less likely to be deformed by a load even when the weight of the bottle body is further reduced.

Therefore, such a bottle container suppresses concentration of stress, and deformation due to a load hardly occurs.

In the bottle container of this embodiment, the ratio of the length of the shoulder portion to the total length in the direction of the imaginary axis is preferably 0.33 or less, more preferably 0.17 to 0.21. Further, the bottle container of the present embodiment has an elliptical shape in which the horizontal cross section at least above the central portion of the shoulder 4 is infinitely close to a perfect circle in the shoulder 4, so that it depends on the load applied in the vertical direction. There is an advantage that the deformation of the shoulder portion 4 can be further suppressed.

Further, the body portion 2 bulges outward from the non-projecting portion 2a ′ which is the outer portion of the rib forming portion 2a in the horizontal direction above and below the rib forming portion 2a on the short side surface. By having the upper bulging portion 2c and the lower bulging portion 2c ′, the bottle container according to the present embodiment can be slid from the hand when the portion where the rib is provided is gripped. The upper bulging portion 2c or the lower bulging portion 2c ′ has an advantage that the bottle container can be prevented from slipping and falling. The bottle container according to the present embodiment is peeled off by contact with another bottle container when the label is applied to the rib forming part by the upper bulging part 2c and the lower bulging part 2c ′. It has the advantage that can be prevented. Moreover, the bottle container of this embodiment also has the advantage that it is excellent in design nature by providing the said upper bulging part 2c and the lower bulging part 2c '.

In addition, although the bottle container of this embodiment has the said advantage by the said structure, the bottle container of this invention is not limited to the structure of the said embodiment. The bottle container of the present invention can be variously modified without departing from the gist of the present invention.

Next, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to reference examples, examples and comparative examples.

(Reference Example 1)
Using a polyethylene terephthalate resin, a bottle main body having the same shape as that shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 and having a shoulder portion as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 (bottle main body height: 336.0 mm, radius of curvature at the short side curved portion: 64.1 mm, the radius of curvature of the curved portion on the long side surface: 78.7 mm, mass: 31 g).
Next, 2.0 L of beverage was packed in the bottle body, the bottle container was covered, and 24 bottle containers containing beverage were produced.
Then, three bottles containing beverages in an upright state were arranged vertically and two horizontally in parallel, and shrink packed with a heat-shrinkable film to produce a bundle. Three more bundles were produced, for a total of four bundles. In addition, the surface contact portions of the bottle container in the vertical direction are in contact with each other.
Next, these bundles are stacked on a single pallet for four days, and the weights obtained by multiplying the two-tiered pallet by 1.5 times the safety factor are multiplied by these bundles for three days. The degree of deformation of the beverage bottle container was visually confirmed, and a deformation test of the beverage bottle container was performed. The results are shown in Table 1.
