Description

The present invention relates to an insulating cover for temporarily insulating a rail from a wheel.

In the railway, a railway signal security device is provided in order to keep the train operation safe. The railway signal security device is a general term for a signal device, a blocking device, a tipping device, an interlocking device, a railroad crossing safety device, a track circuit device, and the like (see reference number 1001 of Non-Patent Document 1). The track circuit device has a track circuit for detecting a train. The track circuit is an electric circuit using rails (see number 7001 of Non-Patent Document 1). Trains are detected by shorting the left and right rails with wheels and axles.

At the boundary of the track circuit, the rail joint is electrically insulated (see number 7019 in Non-Patent Document 1). A rail joint is a connection part of a rail and a rail (refer the number 210 of a nonpatent literature 2). A rail seam called an insulation seam is used for the insulation part of the track circuit (see reference numeral 212 in Non-Patent Document 2).

A maintenance vehicle is used for track maintenance work (see number 11808 in Non-Patent Document 3). Conventional maintenance vehicles travel on the rails with wheels without shorting the rails. The movement of the maintenance vehicle is different from the operation of the train, so in the case of a conventional line, if the maintenance vehicle short-circuits the rail, the railroad signal security device such as a railroad crossing safety device malfunctions.

For example, there is a multiple tie tamper in a maintenance vehicle (see number 513 in Non-Patent Document 2). The multiple tie tamper is a large machine that continuously clamps the ballast ballast. Conventionally, cloth adhesive tapes (gum tapes) have been affixed to the rail tread surface of the insulation seam in order to prevent the insulation seam from being worn out by the wheels when the multiple tie tamper passes through the insulation part. However, the cloth adhesive tape has a problem that it is difficult to remove from the rail after passing through the multiple tie tamper, it is difficult to stick to the rail at the time of rain, and the function of preventing the insulation seam from being dropped due to the deterioration of the insulation performance due to rainwater. Further, in recent years, short-circuit sensitivity at a crossing has been increased to prevent a crossing accident, and the cloth adhesive tape cannot be said to have sufficient insulation performance.

In order to prevent the insulation seam from being worn out by the wheels of a maintenance vehicle (construction vehicle), a rail joint insulation cover has been proposed (see Patent Document 1). The rail joint insulating cover insulates the rail surface at the rail joint with the cover body. Since the cover body is formed by laminating a plurality of sheet bodies, the sheet body is easily damaged (see paragraph 0009 in the specification of Patent Document 1). In addition, the rail joint insulating cover is troublesome to install because the hook is hooked in the gap between the rail and the joint plate to prevent the cover body from falling off.

In addition, when performing an insulation inspection of a maintenance vehicle, it is necessary to insulate the wheel from the rail. For this reason, the used material of the insulation seam (insulation fiber) is reused, the insulation material is laid on the rail head, and the wheel of the maintenance vehicle is mounted on it. However, since such an insulating material tends to fall off when riding on a wheel, the riding of the wheel is repeated many times, and the inspection work becomes inefficient.

In the slab section of the Shinkansen railway, after rail correction, the signal level of the track circuit is measured after slab cleaning. Shinkansen railway maintenance cars are used during work hours when the train is not operated, and unlike conventional maintenance cars, the rails are short-circuited. For this reason, if the maintenance vehicle is on the track circuit to be measured, the signal level of the track circuit cannot be measured. Therefore, it is necessary to move the maintenance vehicle out of the track circuit to be measured before the signal level measurement, which makes the measurement work inefficient.

Since the rail joint insulating cover described above (see Patent Document 1) hooks the hook between the rail and the joint plate to prevent the cover body from falling off, it cannot be attached to any place other than the rail joint. For this reason, this rail joint insulation cover cannot be used for insulation inspection of maintenance vehicles or insulation between wheels and rails when measuring signal levels in Shinkansen railways.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and can insulate the rail from the wheel, has good insulation performance, moderately good durability, can be easily attached and detached, is prevented from falling off, and is used other than the rail joint. An object of the present invention is to provide an insulating cover that can be used.

The insulating cover of the present invention is a cover for insulating a rail from a wheel, and is formed by integrally molding a synthetic resin having insulating properties and elasticity, and a top surface covering the top surface of the rail, and the top surface The cover has a pair of side covers that extend downward from both ends in a direction orthogonal to the rail longitudinal direction in plan view and cover a predetermined range of the side surface of the rail head. A slope portion that gradually decreases toward the end in the direction is formed, the side cover is set such that the interval between the opposed lower ends is set narrower than the width of the rail head, and the insulating cover is fitted to the rail head from above. It is characterized by.

In this insulating cover, the synthetic resin is preferably a polyamide resin.

In this insulating cover, it is preferable that the inner surface constituted by the top surface cover and the side surface cover is formed so that the cross-sectional shape thereof corresponds to the cross-sectional shapes of the heads of the 50 kg N rail and the 60 kg rail.

In this insulating cover, the synthetic resin is preferably colored in a fluorescent color.

According to the insulating cover of the present invention, a synthetic resin having an insulating property is molded, and it has a top surface cover and a pair of side surface covers, and is fitted to the rail head, so that the rail is insulated from the wheel. be able to. Since this insulating cover is formed by integrally molding a synthetic resin, the insulating performance and durability can be improved more than those obtained by laminating sheet-like insulating materials or cloth adhesive tapes. Moreover, since this insulating cover is fitted on the rail head from above, it can be easily attached and detached. This insulating cover has elasticity, and the distance between the lower ends of the opposing side covers is set to be narrower than the width of the rail head, so that the rail head is sandwiched between the side covers while being fitted to the rail head. It is prevented from falling off. Furthermore, since this insulating cover does not use the structure of the insulating seam for attachment to the rail head, it can be used for other than the rail seam.

An insulating cover according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. This insulating cover is a cover for insulating the rail from the wheel, and is formed by integrally molding a synthetic resin having insulating properties and elasticity. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the insulating cover 1 includes a top surface cover 2 and a pair of side covers 3. The top surface cover 2 is a portion that covers the top surface of the rail. The side cover 3 extends downward (in the −z direction in FIG. 2) from both ends in a direction (y direction in FIG. 1) perpendicular to the rail longitudinal direction (x direction in FIG. 1) in plan view of the parietal cover 2. It is a part which covers the predetermined range of the side of a rail head. As shown in FIG. 3, the space | interval S of the lower end of the side cover 3 which opposes is set narrower than the width | variety of a rail head. As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the insulating cover 1 is fitted onto the rail head 4 from above.

The top cover 2 is formed with a slope portion 21 whose thickness gradually decreases toward the end in the rail longitudinal direction (see FIG. 2).

The synthetic resin having insulating properties and elasticity, which is a material of the insulating cover 1, is, for example, a polyamide resin.

The inner surface 11 constituted by the top surface cover 2 and the side cover 3 is formed so that the cross-sectional shape thereof corresponds to the cross-sectional shape of the heads of the 50 kg N rail and the 60 kg rail (see FIG. 4).

The synthetic resin that is the material of the insulating cover 1 is colored in a conspicuous color, for example, a fluorescent color.

The insulating cover 1 will be further described in detail. In this embodiment, the insulating cover 1 is made by integrally molding a synthetic resin using a mold. The synthetic resin is a polyamide resin and is colored yellow fluorescent color. The insulating cover 1 may be made of a synthetic resin having insulating properties and elasticity, and is not limited to the polyamide resin. The color of the insulating cover 1 is not limited to the yellow fluorescent color as long as it can be distinguished from the rail, but a conspicuous color is desirable.

The insulating cover 1 of this embodiment has a total length of 200 mm in the rail longitudinal direction (x direction in FIG. 1), the length of each gradient portion 21 is 50 mm, the length of the flat intermediate portion 22 is 100 mm, The thickness is 3 mm. In addition, the length and thickness of the insulating cover 1 are not limited to this.

The insulating cover 1 of this embodiment is formed in a shape that can be attached to the heads of 50 kg N rail and 60 kg rail. The 50 kg N rail and the 60 kg rail are defined in Japanese Industrial Standard JIS E 1101: 2001. The 50 kg N rail and the 60 kg rail are types of rails often used in Japan. The 50 kg N rail and the 60 kg rail have the same head width (65 mm), and the cross-sectional shape of the head is almost the same. Therefore, the insulating cover 1 should have a shape that can accommodate both types of rails. Can do.

Since the insulating cover 1 is a cover for insulating the rail from the wheel, the predetermined range covered by the side cover 3 is naturally a range in which the wheel flange may contact at least the side surface of the rail head 4. is there. The side cover 3 is set to a height H so as to cover the predetermined range (see FIGS. 3 and 4). In the present embodiment, the height H of the side cover 3 is about 30 mm corresponding to the 50 kgN rail and the 60 kg rail. The height H may be set so that the side cover 3 covers the entire side surface of the rail head 4.

When the insulating cover 1 configured as described above is fitted into the rail head 4 from above, the insulating cover 1 is attached so that the space S between the side covers 3 that are opposed to each other is expanded and the rail head 4 is sandwiched between them. For this reason, in the design of the insulating cover 1, the interval S between the lower ends of the side covers 3 before the insulating cover 1 is fitted to the rail head 4 is the width of the rail head 4, the range in which the insulating cover 1 is elastically deformed, and the rail It is set to an appropriate value from the viewpoint of the elastic force sandwiching the head 4. For example, in the present embodiment, the interval S between the lower ends of the side covers 3 is set to 61 mm with respect to the width 65 mm of the rail head 4 of 50 kgN rail and 60 kg rail. Note that the value of the interval S is not limited to this.

4 to 6 show a state in which the insulating cover 1 is attached to the insulating seam. The mounting location of the insulating cover 1 may be the rail head 4 and is not limited to the rail head 4 at the insulating seam because the seam plate 5 is not used for mounting.

The rail has an abdomen 6 and a bottom 7 in addition to the head 4. Since the wheels on the rail do not contact the rail abdomen 6 and bottom 7 (see FIG. 4), there is no need to insulate the rail abdomen 6 and bottom 7.

As described above, according to the insulating cover 1 according to the present embodiment, a synthetic resin having insulating properties is integrally formed, and the head cover 2 and the pair of side covers 3 are provided and fitted to the rail head 4. The rails can be isolated from the wheels. Since the insulating cover 1 is formed by molding a synthetic resin, the insulating performance and durability can be improved more than those obtained by laminating sheet-like insulators or cloth adhesive tapes. Since the insulating cover 1 is fitted onto the rail head 4 from above, it can be easily attached and detached. Since the insulating cover 1 has elasticity and the interval between the lower ends of the opposing side cover 3 is set to be narrower than the width of the rail head 4, the rail head 4 is attached to the rail head 4. It is sandwiched between the side covers 3 and is prevented from falling off. Furthermore, since the insulating cover 1 does not use an insulating seam structure for attachment to the rail head 4, the insulating cover 1 can be used other than the rail joint. Therefore, the insulating cover 1 is used not only for preventing the insulation seam from being dropped by the maintenance vehicle, but also for insulation inspection of the maintenance vehicle and insulation between the wheels and the rails when measuring the signal level in the Shinkansen railway. it can.

Since the top surface cover 2 is formed with a slope portion 21 whose thickness gradually decreases toward the end in the rail longitudinal direction, the wheels of the maintenance vehicle can easily ride on the insulating cover 1.

Since the synthetic resin which is the material of the insulating cover 1 is a polyamide resin, it has elasticity and has an adequately good insulating performance and durability.

The inner surface 11 of the insulating cover 1 is formed so that its cross-sectional shape corresponds to the cross-sectional shape of the heads of the 50 kg N rail and the 60 kg rail, so that it can be used for either standard rail.

The synthetic resin that is the material of the insulating cover 1 is conspicuous when colored in a fluorescent color, so that it is possible to prevent forgetting to remove the insulating cover 1 from the rail when the maintenance work is completed. Further, by coloring the material of the insulating cover 1, there is no color fading due to peeling of the coating film as in the case of painting.

The insulating cover is used to insulate the rail from the wheels of the maintenance vehicle during maintenance work of the track, that is, temporarily. If you forget to remove the insulation cover after maintenance work, you may insulate the train wheels and cause a short circuit in the track circuit. For this reason, in order to temporarily insulate the rail, a material that easily breaks, such as a cloth adhesive tape, has been used.

Therefore, an insulating cover for temporarily insulating the rail from the wheels of the maintenance vehicle is not as good as the durability. Since the insulating cover 1 of the present invention is formed by integrally molding a synthetic resin, durability enough to withstand that a maintenance vehicle rides slowly is ensured, but a train having a large number of wheels can move up at a high speed. It is not supposed to withstand passing. Such moderate durability of the insulating cover 1 is considered in setting the thickness and selecting a synthetic resin.

In addition, this invention is not restricted to the structure of said embodiment, A various deformation | transformation is possible in the range which does not change the summary of invention. For example, the shape and dimensions of the insulating cover 1 may be set so that the insulating cover 1 is used for a standard rail other than the 50 kg N rail and the 60 kg rail.
