フラクション・ネガティブ法を利用して全BIのD値を求めた。ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11138-1:2006(R)2010によれば、フラクション・ネガティブ法によってD値を求めるには、異なる5つの曝露条件が少なくとも必要とされる。すなわち、全インディケータが正である曝露条件と、全インディケータが負である2つの連続した曝露条件と、サンプルの一部が増殖を示す少なくとも2つの曝露条件である。
riは、ΔPiへの曝露時に増殖を示さないサンプルの数であり、
niは、ΔPiへの曝露時に曝露したサンプルの数である。

Claims (13)
- 滅菌法において滅菌剤蒸気を利用して生物学的インディケータの抵抗特性を確立する方法であって、この方法が、
滅菌室に滅菌剤蒸気を注入している間に発生する差滅菌剤蒸気圧の値を取得し、
その差滅菌剤蒸気圧の値の関数としてD値を計算することによって生物学的インディケータ不活性プロファイルを生成させることを含む方法。 - 前記生物学的インディケータ不活性プロファイルが、前記滅菌剤蒸気を前記滅菌室に徐々に注入し、滅菌剤蒸気注入の異なる時期に決定した異なる差滅菌剤蒸気圧における生物学的インディケータの生残を測定することによって生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記徐々に注入することが、滅菌剤蒸気をパルス式に注入して前記滅菌室内に前記滅菌剤の微凝縮層を生成させることを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 滅菌剤蒸気を注入している間に前記滅菌室内で温度を取得し、滅菌中にその滅菌室が所与の温度かつ滅菌剤が初期濃度のときの生物学的インディケータ不活性化データを計算して、その滅菌室の別の温度と別の濃度の滅菌剤についての生物学的インディケータ不活性プロファイルを生成させるのに用いることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 滅菌法を試験するとき、前記生物学的インディケータ不活性プロファイルを標準値と比較して前記生物学的インディケータの有効性を評価することをさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記滅菌剤蒸気が過酸化水素蒸気である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 滅菌法の有効性を評価する方法であって、
生物学的インディケータを用いてその滅菌法を実行し;
異なる差滅菌剤蒸気圧で生物学的インディケータの生残を測定し;
測定したその生物学的インディケータの生残を、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって求めた生物学的インディケータ不活性プロファイルと比較して、その滅菌法の有効性を評価することを含む方法。 - 生物学的インディケータ、または、その生物学的インディケータと、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法を用いてあらかじめ確立した抵抗特性の記録とを含む市販パッケージ。
- 差圧に応じて最初に求めた前記抵抗特性が、同等な時間パラメータまたは用量パラメータでさらに表わされる、請求項8に記載の生物学的インディケータまたは市販パッケージ。
- 前記不活性プロファイルが、生きている生物のカウント数のlog10を差滅菌剤蒸気圧に対して半対数曲線としてプロットしたとき、不活性な全範囲にわたって線形である、請求項8に記載の生物学的インディケータまたは市販パッケージ。
- 少なくとも3つの点を用い、少なくとも0.8という致死性プロファイル(線形性)の決定係数(r2)をさらに有する、請求項8に記載の生物学的インディケータまたは市販パッケージ。
- 滅菌法を検討するための、請求項8〜11のいずれか1項に記載の生物学的インディケータまたは市販パッケージの利用。
- 滅菌法の有効性を評価するための、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって確立された生物学的インディケータとその生物学的インディケータの抵抗特性の利用。
