Description
本出願は、米国特許法第119条(e)項に基づき2014年10月30日に出願された米国仮出願第62/072,654号、および2015年6月11日に出願された米国特許出願第14/736,510号の優先権を主張する。ここに本明細書の一部を構成するものとして上記公報の内容を援用する。
Claims (10)
- 石膏スラリーミキサー(12)用の排出ゲート(36)であって、
スラリーを収容するように構成されたインレット開口部(56)とスラリーを分配装置(40)に送出するように構成されたアウトレット開口部(58)、とを有するゲートアダプタ(38)を備え、
前記ゲートアダプタ (38)は両端に2つの異なる移行型横断面形状を有し、また、前記ゲートアダプタ(38)は、
四辺形のインレット開口部(60)を有するインレット部(64)と、
ほぼ円形のアウトレット開口部(62)を有するアウトレット部(66)と、
前記インレット部64とアウトレット部(66)との間に介在する移行部(68)と、を備える排出ゲート(36)。 - 前記インレット開口部(60)の四辺形の断面形状は、前記アウトレット開口部(62)の円形断面形状にゲートアダプタ(38)の長手方向軸に沿って移行する請求項1に記載の排出ゲート。
- 前記アウトレット部(64)は、頂壁(76)、底壁(78)、およびアウトレット部(64)の2つの対向する側壁(80,82)によって少なくとも部分的に画定されるインレットチャンバ(74)を含む請求項1に記載の排出ゲート。
- 前記インレットチャンバ(74)の頂壁および底壁(76,78)の内面間のインレット部(64)の外縁(84)近傍の第1の内径D1は、頂壁(76)および底壁(78)の内面間のインレット部と移行部(64,68)の第1の結合縁部(86)近傍の、D1と対向する第2の内径D2より小さい請求項3に記載の排出ゲート。
- 対向する側壁(80,82)の内面間のインレット部(64)の外縁(84)近傍の第3の内径D3は、側壁(80,82)の内面間のインレット部(64)と移行部(68)の第1の結合縁部(86)近傍の第4内径D4より大きい請求項3に記載の排出ゲート。
- 前記インレットチャンバ(74)は、ほぼ四辺形の断面形状を有し、頂壁、底壁、および側壁(76,78,80,82)のうちの少なくとも1つは、インレット部(64)の外縁(84)と、インレット部と移行部(64,68)の第1の結合縁部(86)との間に傾斜した内面(88)を有する請求項3に記載の排出ゲート。
- 前記アウトレット部(66)は、前記インレット部[66]の長手方向軸に沿って所定の内径を有する環状に包囲する内壁(92)によって画定されるアウトレットチャンバ(90)を含み、アウトレット部(66)の外縁(94)近傍の第1の内径ID1およびアウトレット部と移行部(66,68)の第2の結合縁部(96)近傍の第2の内径ID2は、ほぼ同じ長さである請求項1に記載の排出ゲート。
- 前記移行部(68)は、前記インレット部と移行部(64,68)の第1の結合縁部(86)近傍のインレット部(64)から延びる頂壁、底壁、および側壁(76,78,80,82)によって少なくとも部分的に画定された移行チャンバ(98)を含み、移行チャンバ(98)は、アウトレット部と移行部(66,68)の第2の結合縁部(96)近傍のアウトレット部(66)から延びる環状に包囲する内壁(92)によって少なくとも部分的にさらに画定される請求項1に記載の排出ゲート。
- インレット部、アウトレット部、および移行部(64,66,68)の少なくとも1つは、インレット部、アウトレット部、および移行部(64,66,68)の少なくとも1つの内面によって画定されるスラリー通路(102)の中心近くに配置された少なくとも1つの注入ポート(100)を有する請求項1に記載の排出ゲート。
- 四辺形のインレット開口部(60)を有するインレット部(64)と、
ほぼ円形のアウトレット開口部(62)を有するアウトレット部(66)と、
インレット部64とアウトレット部66との間に介在する移行部68と、を備える、石膏スラリーミキサー(12)から混錬スラリーを送出するためのゲートアダプター(38)であって、
インレット開口部(60)の四辺形の断面形状が、アウトレット開口部(62)の円形断面形状にゲートアダプタ(38)の長手方向軸に沿って移行するゲートアダプタ。
