Abstract
Description
Claims (25)
- ステントアセンブリ金型であって、
少なくとも部分的に、ステントバルーン(75)の中心部分を中心として配置されるステントアセンブリ(70)を受容するようにサイズ調整および寸法調整される内部通路を有する、管(20)と、
それを通して前記管が延在するチャンバ(30)を形成する、筐体と、
を備え、
前記管は、熱的に伝導性の材料を含み、
前記管は、前記チャンバ内に延在する、本体部分(20a)と、前記本体部分に近接し、前記筐体から離れるように延在する、端部部分(20b)とを有し、前記管の端部部分の内径は、前記管の本体部分の内径を上回る、ステントアセンブリ金型。 - 前記管は、10マイクロメートル〜約2000マイクロメートルの壁厚を有し、最大300psiの圧力下で少なくとも実質的に変形不可能である、前記管は、前記内部通路を形成するシームレスな表面を有する、前記管は、不活性材料を含む、または任意のそれらの組み合わせである、請求項1に記載のステントアセンブリ金型。
- 前記端部部分は、円錐台状形状を形成する、前記端部部分は、前記ステントアセンブリおよびステントバルーンを前記管の中に受容および誘導するようにサイズ調整および成形される、または両方である、請求項1または2に記載のステントアセンブリ金型。
- 前記内部通路は、約1.15mm〜約1.35mmの直径を有する、請求項1、2、または3に記載のステントアセンブリ金型。
- ステントアセンブリ装置(10)であって、
熱伝導性材料を含み、通路を形成するシームレスな内側表面を有する、第1の管(20)を備える、ステントアセンブリ金型と、
前記金型の外側表面に近接して配置され、それに流体的に接続される、加熱ユニット(40、45)と、
前記金型に近接し、その外側に配置される、温度センサ(50)と、
を備える、ステントアセンブリ装置。 - それを通して前記金型および第2の管が延在するチャンバを形成する、筐体をさらに備え、
前記第2の管は、前記金型に実質的に類似し、
前記温度センサは、前記第2の管内に形成される通路内に配置され、
前記加熱ユニットは、流体を前記チャンバの中に押進させ、前記金型および前記第2の管を加熱する、請求項5に記載のステントアセンブリ装置。 - 前記金型の外側表面に近接して配置され、それに流体的に接続される、冷却ユニットをさらに備え、
前記冷却ユニットは、流体を前記チャンバの中に押進させ、前記金型および前記第2の管を冷却する、請求項6に記載のステントアセンブリ装置。 - 前記金型および前記第2の管内に形成される通路は、前記チャンバから流体的に隔離される、請求項6に記載のステントアセンブリ装置。
- ステントバルーンに流体的に結合される端部を有する、導管であって、前記端部は、前記金型の通路内の第1の場所と前記金型の通路の外側の第2の場所との間に位置付け可能である、導管と、
前記導管に近接して位置付けられ、前記導管を通る流体の流動を制御する、弁と、
をさらに備え、
前記金型は、少なくとも部分的に、前記ステントバルーンの一部および前記導管の端部を囲繞する、ステントアセンブリを受容するようにサイズ調整される、請求項5−8のいずれかに記載のステントアセンブリ装置。 - 前記金型は、前記チャンバ内に延在する、本体部分と、前記本体部分に近接し、前記筐体から離れるように延在する、端部部分とを有し、前記ステント金型の端部部分の内径は、前記金型の本体部分の内径を上回る、請求項9に記載のステントアセンブリ装置。
- 前記第1の管は、約10マイクロメートル〜約2000マイクロメートルの壁厚を有し、最大300psiの圧力下で少なくとも実質的に変形不可能である、前記第1の管は、少なくとも、主に、金属から成る、または両方である、請求項5−10のいずれかに記載のステントアセンブリ装置。
- ステントバルーン(75)上の拡張可能ステントアセンブリの保定を増加させる方法であって、
拡張可能ステントアセンブリをステントバルーン(75)の中心部分を中心として事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーン内に配置するステップと、
前記ステントバルーン(75)を少なくとも第1の温度まで加熱するステップと、
前記ステントバルーン(75)を第1の圧力まで膨張させ、それを拡張させ、前記事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーンに対応させるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ステントバルーンを前記拡張ゾーン内の原位置で前記第1の圧力に維持しながら、前記ステントバルーンを第2の温度まで冷却するステップをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントバルーンを前記第1の圧力まで膨張させるステップは、流体を前記ステントバルーンに流体的に結合される導管の端部を通して押進させるステップを含む、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントバルーンを前記第1の温度まで加熱するステップは、流体を前記拡張ゾーンの外部表面にわたって押進させるステップを含む、請求項12、13、または14に記載の方法。
- 前記事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーンに実質的に類似し、その外側にあって、そこに近接し、かつ熱源に対して設置される、温度監視ゾーン内の温度を測定し、前記事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーン内の第1の温度および第2の温度を判定するステップをさらに含む、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントバルーンを前記第1の圧力まで膨張させるステップは、前記ステントバルーンと、少なくとも部分的に、前記ステントバルーンの中心部分を囲繞する前記ステントアセンブリとを前記事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーンに対して押進させるステップを含む、請求項12−16のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ステントアセンブリは、第1の端部および対向する第2の端部を有し、前記ステントバルーンを前記第1の圧力まで膨張させるステップはさらに、前記ステントバルーンの外部表面と前記ステントアセンブリの前記第1の端部および前記対向する第2の端部を接触させるステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーンは、円筒形を画定する、請求項12−18のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステントバルーン(75)内の漏出を検出する方法であって、
ステントバルーン(75)を事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーン内に配置するステップと、
前記事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーン内の前記ステントバルーン(75)を前記バルーン(75)を拡張させる圧力まで膨張させるステップと、
前記拡張ゾーン内の前記ステントバルーン(75)内の圧力を原位置で隔離させるステップと、
前記ステントバルーン(75)内の圧力がある時間周期にわたって所定の閾値圧力を下回るかどうかを判定するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ステントバルーンを膨張させる前に、前記ステントバルーンを第1の温度まで加熱するステップと、
膨張された後、前記ステントバルーン内の圧力を維持しながら、前記ステントバルーンを第2の温度まで冷却するステップと、
をさらに含む、請求項20に記載のステントバルーン内の漏出を検出する方法。 - ステント外被およびステントは、少なくとも部分的に、前記ステントバルーンの中心部分を囲繞し、前記ステントバルーンを膨張させるステップは、前記ステント外被を前記事前にサイズ調整された拡張ゾーンに対して押進させるステップを含む、請求項20または21に記載のステントバルーン内の漏出を検出する方法。
- 前記冷却するステップは、強制対流を含む、請求項21または22に記載のステントバルーン内の漏出を検出する方法。
- 熱形成され、減圧されたステントバルーンアセンブリであって、
第1の端部および対向する第2の端部を有する、縦方向に延在するステント(70)であって、前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間の内部通路を形成する、縦方向に延在するステント(70)と、
少なくとも部分的に、前記内部通路内に配置され、前記ステント(70)に添着される、熱形成されたステントバルーン(75)と、
を備え、
前記ステントバルーン(75)の第1の部分は、前記ステントの第1の端部と接触し、
前記ステントバルーン(75)の第2の部分は、周囲温度および圧力下での前記ステントバルーン(75)からの前記ステント(70)の時期尚早分離を防止するように、前記ステント(70)の第2の端部と接触する、ステントバルーンアセンブリ。 - 前記ステントおよび前記ステントバルーンは、相互に対して側方移動することを阻止される、前記ステントバルーンの第1および第2の部分は、前記ステントの第1および第2の端部全体に接触する、または両方である、請求項24に記載のステントバルーンアセンブリ。
