Claims (15)
- コンプライアントフレーム構造体(5)を提供するために複数のピボットジョイント(4)で相互接続される端部(32)を有し、それぞれ圧縮及び伸長されて前記ピボットジョイントの相対位置が変化することによってパワー出力を生じるように構成される、複数のリニアジェネレータ(3)と、
前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体によって支持され、前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体を取り囲んで、前記浮くコンプライアントベッセルの内側の空気が入っているスペース(7)を画定する、可撓性外膜(6)と、
前記内側のスペース内に配置され、前記リニアジェネレータによって発生したパワー出力を受け入れるために前記リニアジェネレータに作動的に接続される、パワー回路(8)と、
を備える浮く半潜水式のコンプライアントベッセル(2)を備える、波エネルギーをパワー出力に変換するための波エネルギー変換装置(1)であって、前記浮くコンプライアントベッセルが、前記可撓性外膜への波の作用によって、前記リニアジェネレータがニュートラル位置にある定常状態と前記リニアジェネレータのうちの少なくともいくつかが圧縮又は伸長される操られた状態との間で操ることができるように適合され、前記浮くコンプライアントベッセルが、前記リニアジェネレータをそれらのニュートラル位置の方に、したがって前記浮くコンプライアントベッセルを前記定常状態の方に絶えず強制するスプリングバック手段(9)を備える、波エネルギー変換装置。 - 前記スプリングバック手段が、前記リニアジェネレータをそれらのニュートラル位置の方に強制するスプリングバック機構(31)を備える前記複数のリニアジェネレータのうちの少なくともいくつかによって提供される、請求項1に記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記浮くコンプライアントベッセルの前記内側のスペースが実質的に気密であり、減圧されることで、前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体が前記可撓性外膜による圧縮力を受けて、前記リニアジェネレータをニュートラル位置に付勢する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記リニアジェネレータのそれぞれが、繰り返しの閉じたコンプライアントフレーム構造体を提供するべく前記ピボットジョイントで複数の他のリニアジェネレータと接続される、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記リニアジェネレータが、前記パワー回路に送り込まれる循環する加圧された作動液の形態のパワー出力を生成するリニア油圧ポンプ(300)であり、前記波エネルギー変換装置が、前記加圧された作動液を電力に変換するように適合されるパワー変換システムをさらに備える、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記パワー回路が、前記リニア油圧ポンプのそれぞれと流体連通する油圧管系(81)を備え、前記油圧管系が、前記リニア油圧ポンプの入口に作動液を供給する及び前記リニア油圧ポンプのそれぞれの出口からの加圧された作動液を受け入れるように構成される、請求項5に記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記パワー回路が、前記複数のリニアジェネレータによって発生したパワー出力を別のエネルギー形態に変換するためのパワー変換システム(83)を備える、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記可撓性外膜が、前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体に対して変位可能に配置され、前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体と前記可撓性外膜との接点(61)がシフトすることが可能となる、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記可撓性外膜が、密度、弾性、及び/又は可撓性に関して様々な材料特性の複数の区域(62、63、64)を備える、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記複数のリニアジェネレータのうちの少なくともいくつかが、前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体において複数の第1の四面体モジュール(51)を画定するように構成される、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記複数のリニアジェネレータのうちの少なくともいくつかが、前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体において共通のピボットジョイント(43)から延びるリニアジェネレータの群を有する四面体の幾何学的形状に構成される、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記共通のピボットジョイントから延びる前記リニアジェネレータの群が四面体の角部(44)を画定し、複数の実質的に剛性のスレッド要素(10)が前記角部間に延びて、複数の第2の四面体モジュール(52)を画定する、請求項11に記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記第1の四面体モジュール及び/又は前記第2の四面体モジュールのそれぞれが、前記第1の四面体モジュール及び/又は前記第2の四面体モジュールのそれぞれを取り囲むように配置されるモジュール膜(66)を備えるフレームモジュール(53)を画定し、前記コンプライアントフレーム構造体が複数の相互接続されるフレームモジュールを備える、請求項10又は請求項12に記載の波エネルギー変換装置。
- 請求項1に記載の複数の波エネルギー変換装置(1)と、前記複数の波エネルギー変換装置に作動可能に接続され、前記複数の波エネルギー変換装置のパワー出力を変換するように適合される、共通のパワー変換システムとを備える、波エネルギーをパワー出力に変換するためのシステム。
- 前記リニアジェネレータにパワー入力を供給すること及び前記リニアジェネレータの相互の伸長及び圧縮を制御することによって波を発生させるための請求項1に記載の波エネルギー変換装置の使用。
