Claims (14)
- 光学ベンチと光電子デバイスとの間に配置される受動的位置決め接続構造において、
第1の組の光学的基準マークおよび第2の組の光学的基準マークがその上に定められた光学的に透明な位置決めブロックと、
光学的基準マークを含む位置決め特徴部が定められた第1の本体を有する光学ベンチであって、該光学ベンチが、該光学ベンチ上に定められた前記光学的基準マークが前記位置決めブロック上に定められた前記第1の組の光学的基準マークと位置決めされた状態で、前記位置決めブロックに取り付けられる、前記光学ベンチと、
前記光電子デバイスを支持する支持体であって、該支持体上に光学的基準マークが定められ、前記支持体が、該支持体の前記光学的基準マークが前記位置決めブロック上に定められた前記第2の組の光学的基準マークと位置決めされた状態で、前記位置決めブロックに取り付けられる、前記支持体と
を含むことを特徴とする受動的位置決め接続構造。 - 前記光学ベンチの前記第1の本体が、前記光学ベンチの前記光学的基準マークを含む前記位置決め特徴部をスタンピングすることを含むスタンピングによって形成された、請求項1記載の受動的位置決め接続構造。
- 前記支持体が、該支持体の前記基準マークがその上に定められたサブマウントを含み、前記光電子デバイスが、前記基準マークとの関係において前記サブマウント上に取り付けられる、請求項1記載の受動的位置決め接続構造。
- 前記光学ベンチが、少なくとも構造化された反射面を含み、前記位置決め特徴部が、光ファイバを前記構造化された反射面と光学的に位置決めされた状態に支持する位置決め構造を含み、前記光ファイバと前記光電子デバイスとの間に前記構造化された反射面を介した光路が定められ、該光路を維持するよう前記光学ベンチが前記光電子デバイスと位置決めされる、請求項1記載の受動的位置決め接続構造。
- 前記光電子デバイスが、送信器、受信器、トランシーバ、およびフォトニック集積回路のうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項4記載の受動的位置決め接続構造。
- 前記位置決めブロックが、前記光学ベンチ上に定められた前記構造化された反射面と前記光電子デバイスとの間において光を通過させるための開口部を含む、請求項4記載の受動的位置決め接続構造。
- 前記サブマウントが、前記光電子デバイスの一体の部分である、請求項1記載の受動的位置決め接続構造。
- 光学ベンチと光電子デバイスとの間に受動的位置決め接続を設ける方法において、
第1の組の光学的基準マークおよび第2の組の光学的基準マークがその上に定められた光学的に透明な位置決めブロックを設ける工程と、
前記光学ベンチの本体上に、光学的基準マークを含む位置決め特徴部を定める工程と、
前記光学ベンチを、該光学ベンチ上に定められた前記光学的基準マークが前記位置決めブロック上に定められた前記第1の組の光学的基準マークと位置決めされた状態で、前記位置決めブロックに取り付ける工程と、
前記光電子デバイスが支持される支持体上に光学的基準マークを定める工程であって、前記支持体が、該支持体の前記光学的基準マークが前記位置決めブロック上に定められた前記第2の組の光学的基準マークと位置決めされた状態で、前記位置決めブロックに取り付けられる、前記定める工程と
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記光学ベンチの前記本体が、前記光学ベンチの前記光学的基準マークを含む前記位置決め特徴部をスタンピングすることを含むスタンピングによって形成される、請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記支持体が、該支持体の前記基準マークがその上に定められたサブマウントを含み、前記光電子デバイスが、前記基準マークとの関係において前記サブマウント上に取り付けられる、請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記光学ベンチが、構造化された反射面を含み、前記位置決め特徴部を定める前記工程が、光ファイバを前記構造化された反射面と光学的に位置決めされた状態に支持する位置決め構造を定めることを含み、前記光ファイバと前記光電子デバイスとの間に前記構造化された反射面を介した光路が定められ、該光路を維持するよう前記光学ベンチが前記光電子デバイスと位置決めされる、請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記光電子デバイスが、送信器、受信器、トランシーバ、およびフォトニック集積回路のうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記位置決めブロックが、前記光学ベンチ上に定められた前記構造化された反射面と前記光電子デバイスとの間において光を通過させるための開口部を含む、請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記サブマウントが、前記光電子デバイスの一体の部分である、請求項8記載の方法。
