Claims (12)
- 心臓の弁を移植するためのシステムであって、
流入端及び流出端を持つ、半径方向に自己拡張可能な筒状体と、前記筒状体の側面から前記流入端に向かって伸びる突起と、
前記筒状体内に設置されて取り付けられる弁と、
前記筒状体と前記突起の間に袋を形成する布とを有するシステム。 - さらに、細長い外部部材を含み、前記細長い外部部材は、前記袋内に移動され、心臓の組織が前記筒状体と前記細長い外部部材の間に位置するように、前記心臓の組織を前記袋内に誘導するように構成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- さらに、前記細長い外部部材に沿って配置され、前記袋内に前記心臓の組織を捕捉するように構成された捕捉部材を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記布は、前記筒状体の前記流入端に取り付けられる第1の端と、前記流出端の近傍で前記筒状体に取り付けられる第2の端とを有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記布は、前記筒状体の前記流入端に取り付けられる第1の端と、前記突起に取り付けられる第2の端とを有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記布が、ポリエステル生地であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 患者の心臓に人工置換弁を移植する方法であって、
半径方向に自己拡張可能な筒状体であって、前記筒状体の管腔内に位置する弁と、前記筒状体の側面から流入端に向かって伸びる突起と、前記突起と前記筒状体の間に形成された溝と、前記流入端から前記突起を覆うように伸びる布とを有する前記筒状体を、前記筒状体が展開した際に患者の自然弁と前記筒状体が揃うように、搬送カテーテルから展開させる工程と、
自然弁の弁尖及び/又は腱索の部分を前記溝内に誘導し、前記自然弁の半径方向外側に位置する細長い外部部材を用いて、前記溝内で前記布を袋状に形成する工程とを含む方法。 - さらに、捕捉部材を用いて、前記布の一部が前記自然弁の弁尖及び/又は腱索の部分と前記突起との間に位置するように、前記自然弁の弁尖及び/又は腱索の部分を前記袋内に捕捉することを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記布を、ポリエステル生地とすることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記自然弁の弁尖及び/又は腱索の部分を前記袋内に捕捉することは、前記袋内に前記捕捉部材を移動させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記自然弁を、僧帽弁又は三尖弁とすることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- さらに、患者から前記細長い外部部材を除去することを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
