Claims (20)
- 無線電力送信デバイスであって、
第1および第2の駆動信号を生成するように構成されたドライバ回路と、
アンテナコイルの第1のアンテナアレイの互いに隣接するアンテナコイルが互いに逆の極性を有するように前記アンテナコイルに電力が供給されるように、前記第1のアンテナアレイに電力を供給する前記第1の駆動信号に基づいて第1のワイヤレスフィールドを生成するように構成されたアンテナコイルの第1のアンテナアレイと、
前記第1のアンテナアレイと部分的に重なり合うアンテナコイルの第2のアンテナアレイであって、前記第1のワイヤレスフィールドに直交する第2のワイヤレスフィールドを生成するように構成され、前記第2のワイヤレスフィールドは、前記第2のアンテナアレイの互いに隣接するアンテナコイルが互いに逆の極性を有するように前記アンテナコイルに電力が供給されるように、前記第2のアンテナアレイに電力を供給する前記第2の駆動信号に基づいて生成される、アンテナコイルの第2のアンテナアレイと
を備える無線電力送信デバイス。 - 前記第1のアンテナアレイは、前記第2のアンテナアレイから実質的に磁気的に分離されるように、前記第2のアンテナアレイとずれた状態で重なり合う、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナアレイの前記アンテナコイルは実質的に同一平面に位置し、前記第2のアンテナアレイの前記アンテナコイルは実質的に同一平面に位置する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1および第2の駆動信号は、周期的な波形を有し、前記第1の駆動信号は、前記第1のワイヤレスフィールドが前記第2のワイヤレスフィールドに対して約90度の位相シフトを有するように、前記第2の駆動信号に対して約90度の位相シフトを有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1および第2のアンテナアレイは、前記第1および第2のワイヤレスフィールドを第1の方向に生成するように構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナアレイの前記アンテナコイルは、第1の電気的に接続された巻き線から形成され、前記第2のアンテナアレイの前記アンテナコイルは、第2の電気的に接続された巻き線から形成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナアレイは前記アンテナコイルのうちの2つ以上を備え、前記第2のアンテナアレイは前記アンテナコイルのうちの2つ以上を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナアレイの前記アンテナコイルのうちの2つ以上は、前記第1のアンテナアレイに電力が供給された場合に無線で結合するように構成され、前記第2のアンテナアレイの前記アンテナコイルのうちの2つ以上は、前記第2のアンテナアレイに電力が供給された場合に無線で結合するように構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナアレイの互いに隣接するアンテナコイルは、互いに逆の回転方向に電流を伝送するように構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナアレイの互いに隣接するアンテナコイルは、互いに逆の回転方向に電流を伝送するように構成され、前記第2のアンテナアレイの互いに隣接するアンテナコイルは、互いに逆の回転方向に電流を伝送するように構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のアンテナアレイは、少なくとも2行のアンテナコイルと少なくとも2列のアンテナコイルとを含み、前記第2のアンテナアレイは、少なくとも2行のアンテナコイルと少なくとも2列のアンテナコイルとを含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1および第2のアンテナアレイと前記ドライバ回路とを含む充電パッドをさらに備え、前記充電パッドは、約10インチ(25.4cm)よりも大きい長さと6インチ(15.24cm)よりも大きい幅とを有し、前記充電パッドは、前記第1および第2のワイヤレスフィールドの組合せワイヤレスフィールドを約30ワットよりも高い電力レベルで生成するように構成され、前記組合せワイヤレスフィールドは、少なくとも、前記充電パッドの長さの約2分の1または前記充電パッドの幅の約2分の1のうちの少なくとも一方である充電パッドからの距離によって実質的に減衰する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 無線電力伝達のための方法であって、
第1および第2の駆動信号を生成するステップと、
前記第1の駆動信号に基づいてアンテナコイルの第1のアンテナアレイに電力を供給することによって前記第1のアンテナアレイを介して第1のワイヤレスフィールドを生成するステップであって、前記第1のアンテナアレイに電力を供給することは、前記第1のアンテナアレイの互いに隣接するコイルが互いに逆の極性を有するように前記コイルに電力を供給することを含む、ステップと、
前記第2の駆動信号に基づいてアンテナコイルの第2のアンテナアレイに電力を供給することによって前記第2のアンテナアレイを介して前記第1のワイヤレスフィールドに直交する第2のワイヤレスフィールドを生成するステップであって、前記第1のアンテナアレイは、前記第2のアンテナアレイと少なくとも部分的に重なり合い、前記第2のアンテナアレイに電力を供給することは、前記第2のアンテナアレイの互いに隣接するコイルが互いに逆の極性を有するように前記コイルに電力を供給することを含む、ステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記第1のアンテナアレイは、前記第2のアンテナアレイから実質的に磁気的に分離されるように、前記第2のアンテナアレイとずれた状態で重なり合う、請求項13に記載の方法。

前記第1のワイヤレスフィールドに直交しかつ前記第1のワイヤレスフィールドと少なくとも部分的に重なり合う第2のワイヤレスフィールドを生成するための複数の手段であって、前記第2のワイヤレスフィールドは、前記複数の第2のワイヤレスフィールド生成手段のうちの互いに隣接する手段が互いに逆の極性を有するように前記互いに隣接する手段に電力が供給されるように、前記複数の第2のワイヤレスフィールド生成手段に電力を供給する前記第2の駆動信号に基づく、手段と
を備える装置。 - 前記複数の第1のワイヤレスフィールド生成手段は、前記複数の第2のワイヤレスフィールド生成手段から実質的に磁気的に分離される、請求項17に記載の装置。
