In the main body 13, the insertion spaces 11 of the adjacent constituent units 4 </ b> A to 4 </ b> C communicate with each other, and the insertion spaces 11, 11, 11 of the three constituent units 4 </ b> A to 4 </ b> C are arranged in substantially the whole, that is, in the main body 13. One second warpage suppressing material 17 that suppresses warpage of the front surface material 5 and the back surface material 6 is inserted through all the insertion spaces 11, 11, 11 communicating in the installation direction (X-X direction). The second warpage suppressing material 17 is not fixed to other members such as the front surface material 5 and the back surface material 6, and is provided loosely in the insertion space 11.

The second warpage suppressing member 17 is configured to suppress the warping of the front surface material 5 and the back surface material 6 by being formed so as to increase the strength against bending of the top plate 2 in the front-back direction. Yes. In the present embodiment, the second warp suppressing material 17 is a wood shaft material obtained by laminating and bonding a plurality of single plates such as southern sea materials such as lauan, poplar, larch, cedar and the like in the same fiber direction. A single plate laminated material was used, and the single plate was disposed so that the side end surfaces of the single plate were superposed in the front and back directions of the constituent units, that is, the upright single plates in the horizontal direction. The first warpage suppressing material 7 and the second warpage suppressing material 17 are disposed so as to be orthogonal to each other.

As shown in FIG. 6, the core material 8 positioned at both ends in the longitudinal direction in each of the constituent units 4 </ b> A to 4 </ b> C is divided into two in the short direction and provided apart from each other. Between them, there is provided an attachment portion 12 made of a plate-like member having a strength to which the legs 3 can be attached. The attachment portion 12 is provided with a plurality of attachment holes 12a for attaching the legs 3 at predetermined positions.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, both ends of each component unit 4 </ b> A to 4 </ b> C in the longitudinal direction and between the front surface material 5 and the back surface material 6 are made of a solid material, and its mouth end The end member 14 is fixedly disposed so that the surface 14a can be seen from the outer surface side of the main body 13.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the entire longitudinal direction (Y-Y direction) of the main body 13 is provided on both sides in the short direction of the main body 13 and between the front surface material 5 and the back surface material 6. A wood end side member 18 formed of a solid material and formed so that the wood end surface can be visually recognized from the outside is disposed. Note that parts other than the second warpage suppressing member 17 are fixed to each other with an adhesive or the like.

Next, the manufacturing method of the top plate 2 will be described.

First, as shown in FIG. 6, three constituent units 4A, 4B, and 4C are formed.

Next, as shown in FIG. 7, the configuration units 4A and 4C are disposed so as to abut on both sides in the short direction of the configuration unit 4B, and the adjacent configuration units are fixed with an adhesive or the like, A main body 13 is formed. Thereby, the adjacent insertion spaces 11, 11, and 11 communicate with each other in the arrangement direction of the constituent units 4A to 4C.

Next, as shown in FIG. 7, in the short-side direction of the main body portion 13, the second warpage suppressing member 17 is disposed over substantially the entire insertion space 11 communicating with the three constituent units 4 </ b> A to 4 </ b> C. In this embodiment, one is inserted through each of three communicating insertion spaces. At this time, the second warpage suppressing member 17 is not fixed to the other members and is loosely fitted in the insertion space 11.

Next, the wood end side member 18 having a length extending over the entire length in the longitudinal direction (YY direction) is fixed to both sides of the main body 13 in the short direction (XX direction), respectively. It becomes board 2.

Next, the legs 3 and 3 are fixed to the lower portion of the top plate 2 using the mounting holes 12 a of the mounting portion 12 in the top plate 2 to form the table 1.

With the above configuration, the outer surface of the top plate 2 is covered with the front surface material 5, the back surface material 6, the mouth end side member 14, and the wood end side member 18 made of a solid material, and suppresses core material and warpage other than the solid material. The members and the like are not visually recognized from the outside, and the top plate 2 can be brought close to the aesthetics and texture of the top plate made of only solid materials, and the core material 8 is disposed inside, so that only the solid materials are provided. Compared to the top plate made of, the weight can be reduced and the amount of solid material used can be reduced to protect resources and stabilize the shape of the top plate 2.

Furthermore, by arranging the first warpage suppressing material 7 and the second warpage suppressing material 17 in two orthogonal directions, the warping of the surface material 5 and the back surface material 6 can be more reliably suppressed, and the shape of the top plate 2 can be stabilized. Can be achieved.

Furthermore, since the second warpage suppressing member 17 is loosely fitted in the insertion space 11, it is less likely to be affected by expansion and contraction of the front surface material 5 and the back surface material 6, and the warpage of the front surface material 5 and the back surface material 6 is further reduced. It can be surely deterred.
