建物の雨樋等から取水した雨水を貯留して利用するために地上に設置する雨水貯留装置であって、
通気手段と側面に連通手段を備えた水密性の貯水タンクを水平方向に複数並べて、一端の前記貯水タンクから反対端の前記貯水タンクまで雨水が連通する貯水タンク列を形成し、前記貯水タンク列を垂直方向に複数段組み上げて、上段に位置する前記貯水タンク列内の貯水タンクと下段に位置する前記貯水タンク列内の貯水タンクとの間に上下の流路を設け、
任意の前記貯水タンクに建物の雨樋等から取水した雨水を取り入れる流入口を設け、
任意の前記貯水タンクに雨水を利用するための流出口を設けている雨水貯留装置。
