Description

The present invention comprises a meter main body provided with a flow rate measuring means for measuring a flow rate of gas and exposed in a state in which a terminal block for connecting a lead wire for connection to an external device is exposed, and a terminal block for exposing the terminal block. An opening is provided, and the terminal block is exposed through the terminal block opening, and can be disposed in a state of covering the outer surface of the meter body and in a state of covering the terminal block, and in a state of covering the terminal block. And a terminal block cover that forms a terminal block chamber in which the terminal block is exposed to the interior by the exterior member, and the terminal block cover is detachable from the exterior member or can be opened and closed. It is related with the gas meter by which the lead wire extraction hole for pulling out the lead wire connected to the terminal block room from the terminal block room outside was provided in the terminal block room.

Such a gas meter is provided in the middle of a gas supply pipe that supplies gas to a gas demand destination such as a house, and measures the flow rate of the gas flowing through the gas supply pipe.
In such a gas meter, a terminal block for connecting a lead wire for connection to an external device is provided in the meter body, and the external device is connected to the terminal block by a lead wire so that data can be transferred between the meter and the external device. Can be transmitted and received. Incidentally, examples of the external device include a communication terminal that transmits data via a public communication network and a gas leak alarm.

Then, to connect the external device to the terminal block with the lead wire, either remove the terminal block cover from the exterior member, or position the terminal block cover so as to open the terminal block chamber, so that the terminal block is brought outside. Expose and connect the lead wire to the terminal block. Next, with the lead wire connected to the terminal block pulled out to the outside through the lead wire lead-out hole, attach the terminal block cover to the exterior member, or position the terminal block cover to close the terminal block chamber (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).
Although not explicitly described in Patent Document 1, both the exterior member and the terminal block cover are made of a resin material that does not transmit light.

By the way, the terminal block chamber is opened to the outside by the lead wire lead hole, and even if the lead wire is passed through the lead wire lead hole, the inner peripheral portion of the lead wire lead hole and the outer peripheral portion of the lead wire There is a gap between them.
On the other hand, in the conventional gas meter, since the terminal block cover is made of a resin material that does not transmit light, the terminal block chamber is always in a dark state where almost no light enters.

The gas meter is usually installed outdoors. And since ants have the habit of entering into a dark and narrow place, in the conventional gas meter, there are cases where ants enter the terminal block chamber through the lead wire lead-out hole. In order to prevent the entry of ants into the terminal block chamber, even if the gap between the lead wire lead holes is filled with sealing material, the ants may break through the sealing material and enter the terminal block chamber. Ants could not be prevented from entering the room.
When the ants enter the terminal block room, the ant excrement and the eggs laid cause an insulation failure between the lead wires and the terminals provided on the terminal block, and the control unit that controls the operation of the gas meter breaks down. There was a fear, and it was a factor that lowered the durability of the gas meter.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a gas meter that can improve durability by making it difficult for ants to enter the terminal block chamber.

In order to achieve the above object, a gas meter according to the present invention comprises a flow rate measuring means for measuring a flow rate of gas, and a meter main body provided with a terminal block for connecting a lead wire for connection to an external device being exposed. When,
An exterior member for covering the outer surface of the meter body in a state in which the terminal block is exposed through the terminal block opening, the terminal block being exposed through the terminal block opening;
A terminal block cover that can be disposed in a state of covering the terminal block and forms a terminal block chamber in which the terminal block is exposed to the room by the exterior member by being disposed in a state of covering the terminal block. ,
The terminal block cover is attached to the exterior member so as to be detachable or open / close the terminal block chamber,
The terminal block chamber is a gas meter provided with a lead wire lead-out hole for pulling out the lead wire connected to the terminal block from the terminal block chamber to the outside.
At least a portion of the terminal block cover is formed of a light transmissive material capable of transmitting at least visible light.

According to the above characteristic configuration, at least a part of the terminal block cover is made of a light transmitting material capable of transmitting at least visible light, so that at least visible light passes through the terminal block cover and enters the terminal block chamber.
On the other hand, ants have the habit of intruding into dark and narrow places. By making at least visible light enter the terminal block room, it becomes possible to make it difficult for the ants to enter the terminal block room. It is possible to prevent poor insulation between the terminals provided on the lead wire or the terminal block due to excrement or eggs.
Therefore, it has become possible to provide a gas meter that can improve durability by making it difficult for ants to enter the terminal block chamber.

A further characteristic configuration of the gas meter according to the present invention is that the exterior member protrudes toward the terminal block cover, and the terminal block chamber, the main chamber exposing the terminal block, and the lead wire extraction hole are opened. A ridge that divides into the front chamber is provided,
A notch-like or hole-like lead wire insertion portion for inserting the lead wire connected to the terminal block is provided in the protruding portion,
The part which covers at least the said front chamber in the said terminal block cover exists in the point comprised with the said light transmissive material.

According to the above characteristic configuration, the terminal block chamber is partitioned by the protrusions into a main chamber exposing the terminal block and a front chamber in which the lead wire lead hole is opened, and a portion covering at least the front chamber in the terminal block cover However, since it is made of a light-transmitting material, at least visible light can enter the front chamber while preventing light from entering the main chamber.
In other words, by preventing light from entering the main room where the electrical components such as the terminal block are exposed, deterioration of the electrical components in the terminal block room due to light can be suppressed. By making the front room as bright as possible and making the front room as bright as possible, it makes it harder for ants to enter the front room and prevents ants from entering the main room where electrical parts such as terminal blocks are exposed. Can be.
Therefore, the durability of the gas meter can be further improved by making it difficult for the ants to enter the terminal block chamber while suppressing the deterioration of the electrical components exposed in the terminal block chamber due to light.

A further characteristic configuration of the gas meter according to the present invention is that the exterior member and the terminal are disposed at a location closer to the front chamber than the terminal block in the terminal block chamber, over the entire region in the direction along the longitudinal direction of the protrusion. The sealing member is provided so as to seal between the base cover.

According to the above-described characteristic configuration, the sealing member extends over the entire region in the direction along the longitudinal direction of the protruding portion between the exterior member and the terminal block cover at a location closer to the front chamber than the terminal block in the terminal block chamber. Therefore, the sealing member can block the ant entry path from the front chamber toward the terminal block in the main chamber.
In other words, at least visible light enters the front chamber, making it difficult for ants to enter the front chamber, but in the unlikely event that an ant enters the front chamber, the entry path toward the terminal block is a sealing member. Therefore, it is possible to further suppress the entry of ants from the front chamber to the terminal block in the main chamber.
Accordingly, it is possible to make it more difficult for the ants to penetrate into the terminal block in the terminal block chamber, so that the durability of the gas meter can be further improved.

A further characteristic configuration of the gas meter according to the present invention is that the entire terminal block cover is made of a resin material that transmits at least visible light as the light transmitting material.

According to the above characteristic configuration, since the entire terminal block cover can be manufactured by molding with a resin material capable of transmitting at least visible light, the terminal block cover component can be simplified by simplifying the manufacturing process of the terminal block cover. Cost can be reduced.
Therefore, it is possible to provide a gas meter capable of improving durability while reducing the price.

The gas meter which concerns on this invention has the further characteristic structure in the point whose visible light transmittance | permeability of the said light transmissive material is 12 to 15%.

The inventors of the present invention have intensively studied to suppress the entry of ants into the terminal block chamber, and set the visible light transmittance of the light transmitting material constituting the terminal block cover to be between 12 and 15%. Thus, it has been found that the entry of ants into the terminal block chamber can be effectively suppressed while suppressing deterioration of the electrical components in the terminal block chamber by light as much as possible.

In other words, the higher the visible light transmittance of the light transmissive material, the easier it is for light to enter the terminal block chamber, and the deterioration of the electrical component due to the light becomes stronger, but the visible light transmittance of the light transmissive material is 15% or less. By doing so, it was found that deterioration of the electrical components in the terminal block room due to light can be sufficiently suppressed.
On the other hand, the lower the visible light transmittance of the light transmissive material, the more difficult it is for light to enter the terminal block chamber and the darker the terminal block chamber, so that ants easily enter the terminal block chamber. It has been found that by making the light transmittance 12% or more, ant intrusion into the terminal block chamber can be sufficiently suppressed.

In short, in order to reduce the component cost of the terminal block cover, even if the entire terminal block cover is manufactured by molding with a resin material capable of transmitting at least visible light, the visible light transmittance is between 12 and 15%. It has been found that by setting, it is possible to prevent the ants from entering the terminal block room while sufficiently suppressing deterioration of the electrical components exposed in the terminal block room due to light.
Therefore, by setting the visible light transmittance of the light transmissive material constituting the terminal block cover between 12 and 15%, it is possible to further improve the durability while reducing the price of the gas meter.

A further characteristic configuration of the gas meter according to the present invention is that the flow rate measuring means includes a measurement flow path for flowing a gas to be flow-measured, and the flow rate of the gas flowing through the measurement flow path is measured by ultrasonic waves. It is in the point comprised by the ultrasonic type which measures using.

According to the above characteristic configuration, the flow rate measurement target gas flows through the measurement flow channel, and the flow rate of the gas flowing through the measurement flow channel is measured using ultrasonic waves.
That is, in the ultrasonic gas meter provided with the ultrasonic flow rate measuring means, it is possible to improve the durability by making it difficult for the ants to enter the terminal block chamber.

Although the detailed description and illustration are omitted, the rear panel 13 is also detachably attached to the rear surface portion of the meter body 7 by a plurality of rear panel mounting screws 15, and the lower panel 14 is also attached to the lower surface portion of the meter body 7. It is configured to be detachably attached by a lower panel attaching screw 16.

As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, when the terminal block cover 9 is attached to the front panel 8 as described above, the terminal block 5 is placed indoors by the terminal block chamber recess 84 of the front panel 8 and the terminal block cover 9. The terminal block chamber 10 exposed to is formed.
Further, the lead wire lead-out hole 12 is formed by the lead wire lead-out hole notch 92 and the front surface portion of the front panel 8 in the backward bent portion 91 of the terminal block cover 9. In this embodiment, four lead wire extraction holes 12 are provided.

As shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 5 and FIG. 7, in a state extending in the left-right direction across the lower end portion of the left side portion 86 a and the lower end portion of the right side portion 86 b in the terminal block chamber recess 84 of the front panel 8. , A projecting ridge that projects to the front side (terminal block cover 9 side) and divides the terminal block chamber 10 into a main chamber 101 that exposes the terminal block 5 and a front chamber 102 that opens the lead wire lead-out hole 12. A portion (an example of a ridge portion) 88 is provided.

Four lead wire insertion portions 88a are also provided in a state corresponding to the four lead wire lead-out holes 12 respectively.

Furthermore, between the terminal block opening 81 and the partitioning protrusion 88 in the terminal block chamber recess 84 of the front panel 8, it protrudes forward (terminal block cover 9 side) while extending in the left-right direction. A lead wire fixing protrusion 89 is provided, and the lead wire fixing protrusion 89 is provided with a lead wire fixing notch 89a in a state of opening to the front side. Four lead wire fixing notches 89a are also provided in a state corresponding to the four lead wire lead-out holes 12 respectively.

In attaching the terminal block cover 9 to the front surface portion of the front panel 8, the frame-shaped sealing member 20 having the same shape as the frame-shaped portion formed of the cover fitting step 86 and the partitioning ridge 88 is attached to the front panel. 8, the terminal block cover 9 is attached to the front panel 8 as described above in a state where the terminal block cover 9 is interposed at a position corresponding to the above-described frame-shaped portion. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the front panel 8 and the terminal block are disposed in the terminal block chamber 10 at a position closer to the front chamber 102 than the terminal block 5 over the entire region in the direction along the longitudinal direction of the partition protrusion 88. The sealing member 20 is provided so as to seal between the cover 9.

ちなみに、端子台カバー9を構成する光透過樹脂材料としては、例えば、AES(アクリロニトリル・エチレン‐プロピレン‐ジエン・スチレン)樹脂を用いることができる。
The front panel 8, the terminal block cover 9, the rear panel 13 and the lower panel 14 are all manufactured by molding a resin material.
The resin material that molds the front panel 8, the rear panel 13, and the lower panel 14 is a resin material that does not transmit light with a light transmittance of 0, and the resin material that molds the terminal block cover 9 transmits visible light. It is a possible resin material.
That is, the entire terminal block cover 9 is made of a light-transmitting resin material that can transmit at least visible light as a light-transmitting material.
The visible light transmittance of the light-transmitting resin material constituting the terminal block cover 9 is, for example, in the range of 12 to 15%, and in this embodiment is 13.6%.
Incidentally, as the light transmitting resin material constituting the terminal block cover 9, for example, AES (acrylonitrile / ethylene / propylene / diene / styrene) resin can be used.

In the gas meter configured as described above, at least visible light passes through the terminal block cover 9 and enters the terminal block chamber 10, so that the terminal block chamber 10 becomes brighter, so that ants do not easily enter the terminal block chamber 10. Become. Therefore, it is possible to prevent insulation failure from occurring between the lead wires 4 and the terminals 51 provided on the terminal block 5 due to ant eggs and excrement, so that the durability of the gas meter can be improved.
In addition, by manufacturing the terminal block cover 9 by molding with a light-transmitting resin material, the manufacturing process of the terminal block cover 9 that can transmit at least visible light is simplified, and the component cost of the terminal block cover 9 is reduced. Therefore, the price of the gas meter can be reduced.

Moreover, even if the entire terminal block cover 9 is made of a light-transmitting resin material, the visible light transmittance of the light-transmitting resin material is set between 12 and 15%, so While the deterioration of the electrical component due to light is suppressed as much as possible, the entry of ants into the terminal base chamber 10 can be effectively suppressed.
