本発明の第一の実施態様における位置調整部材11についてより具体的には、拡大した図5にも示されているように、当該位置調整部材11には、前記ネジボルト13が挿通される複数のスライド孔17が設けられている。ガルウイング部3に設けられた、前記ネジボルト13に対する螺合溝部19に当該ネジボルト13が嵌入して締め付けられる際に、同時に位置調整部材11もガルウイング部3に固定される態様を示している。
また、本発明の蒸煮装置の開閉可能部の設計時には、ボルト溝部が位置調整部材のスライド孔17の中央部に合わせるように設計しておくことが好適である。このように設計しておくことで、実際の製造で寸法のずれが生じた場合等においても効果的に密着度を担保して、蒸気の漏れを防止することができる。

また、当該端面部においては図5に示すように弾性を有する中空のパッキン部材15が設けられている。このように端面の密着度を高めるために、当該端面を弾性部材とすることは当然に可能である。また、当該パッキン部分の素材は限定されず、種々のタイプのプラスチック等の弾性素材を用いることができる。また、当該弾性部材については、本第一の実施態様のように中空の弾性部材であることが好ましい。中空構造にすることで、弾性部材が密着時の加圧により適度に変形し、より端面の密着性の向上が図れるためである。

次に、蒸煮装置本体部1とガルウイング部3との密着の方法については、特に限定されず種々の態様が可能である。本発明の第一の実施態様においては、当該開閉可能部3は、コンベアの伸長方向に繰り返して連続して設けられているが、各開閉可能部3のパッキンを有する端面部15に密着可能なように、蒸気庫本体部側の枠体1の一部として、前記開閉可能3部の境界部端面と密着可能な本体部側の端面部23が設けられている(図6)。
次に、図7には本体部側の端面部に前記開閉可能部3が本体部1に対して閉じた状態で密着している状態を示している。また、図8は、開閉可能部3を開いた場合の蒸煮装置の本体部の上部の傾斜部分について示している。対する位置関係を示している。尚、このような密着する構成については本実施態様以外においても適宜設定可能であることは勿論である。

また、本発明の第一実施態様においては、図7(2)及び図8に示すように上部の境界端面部が側面部に向かって下方に傾斜する傾斜角を有している。
