上記実施例に示す美容ローラーを用い、従来一般的に用いられている周波数が1.0MHzの高周波電流を、次の各出力で印加した。10人の被験者が、出力2Wから40Wでそれぞれ官能評価をし、不適当(0点)、適当(1点)、最適(2点)の採点を行った。平均点が0点〜1点未満を△、1点〜1.5点未満を○、1.5点〜2点未満を◎として集計した結果が次の表である。

以上の実験によると、出力2Wの場合には効果が十分でなく、出力40Wの時には刺激が強すぎるという評価が得られた。そこで、本発明の美容ローラーにおいて印加する高周波電流の出力は10W〜15Wが最適であり、5W〜35Wの範囲内が良好な出力の範囲であることが分かった。
従って、本発明において高周波電流の出力を5W〜35Wの範囲内とすることが好ましい。

続いて上記実施例に示す美容ローラーを用い、実験例1で最適と判断された出力10Wの高周波電流を、次の各周波数で印加した。10人の被験者が、周波数0.1MHzから10.0MHzでそれぞれ官能評価をし、不適当(0点)、適当(1点)、最適(2点)の採点を行った。平均点が0点〜1点未満を△、1点〜1.5点未満を○、1.5点〜2点未満を◎として集計した結果が次の表である。

以上の実験によると、周波数0.1MHzの場合には効果が十分でなく、同じく周波数10.0MHzの時にも効果が十分でないという評価が得られた。そこで、本発明の美容ローラーにおいて印加する高周波電流の周波数は0.5MHz〜3.0MHzが最適であり、0.5MHz〜5.0MHzの範囲内が良好な周波数の範囲であることが分かった。
従って、本発明において高周波電流の周波数を0.5MHz〜5.0MHzの範囲内とすることが好ましい。

該本体部の長手方向から所定の開き角度の異なる方向に突設される該回転体の2つの回転軸と、
該各回転軸により回動自在であって、肌面と当接する少なくとも一部位に高周波電流を印加する電極部を有する少なくとも2つの回転体と、
該電極部と通電し、高周波電流を発生する高周波発生手段と
を備えることを特徴とする美容ローラー。
