Description

The present invention relates to an embossed printing method in which characters and designs are raised on a surface of a substrate, and more particularly, to a printing method of an imprint-like design in which a printed surface looks like an imprint style.

Conventionally, as a printing method for forming characters, figures, or images (hereinafter referred to as “pattern” in the present specification) on a base material such as paper, the ink on the pattern is dried on the pattern printed on the base material. Embossed printing, for example, barco printing, is known in which resin powder is previously deposited and then removed in portions other than the pattern, and the resin powder attached to the pattern is heated to form a resin layer.

In emboss printing, resin powder is sprinkled on the substrate on which the pattern is printed before the ink is dried, the resin powder other than the pattern is removed, and heat is applied to the resin powder adhering to the pattern. It melts into the pattern and swells. This is a printing method in which the pattern portion is formed in a raised state. In addition, it is said to be raised printing because the pattern part appears to be raised.

The following Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 disclose techniques related to emboss printing.
In the emboss printing method disclosed in Patent Document 1, an ink image is formed by ejecting ink droplets onto a base material, and a transparent resin powder is deposited on the base material while the ink image is undried. This is a raised printing method in which the transparent resin powder deposited on the area where the ink image is not formed is removed from the transparent resin powder, and then the ink image is raised by heating the substrate.

That is, the technique of Patent Document 1 prints a picture by an ink jet printer and attaches a transparent resin thereon to raise the picture. For this reason, depending on the relationship between the brightness of the base material color and the brightness of the image (color), the pattern of the image may not be raised. For example, the design called Koshu Inden, which draws lacquer on deer leather, is widely known for its red design on a black background, but because black has a lower lightness than red, an ink jet printer is used to create a red design on a black background. Even after printing and embossing printing on it, the print thickness of the pattern is very thin, so the red pattern loses to the black background (hidden in the black background), and it does not finish in the stamped-in pattern There's a problem. In other words, the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a problem that it is not possible to print a design in a stamp style due to the relationship between the base color and the color of the ink that draws the image.

Also, as described in paragraph [0026] of Patent Document 1, the ink jet recording paper in which the ink is absorbed by the coating layer does not allow the resin powder to be adsorbed on the base material, and the resin powder is on the pattern. Since it does not deposit uniformly, there is a problem that a picture cannot be printed in the style of a stamp.

Patent document 2 is disclosing the manufacturing method of the printed matter in which a printing surface looks like leather or a seal stamp. The technique disclosed in Patent Document 2 forms a printing layer having a predetermined pattern by offset printing on a substrate, and performs emboss printing on the printed layer. However, Claim 3 of Patent Document 2 states that “the printed layer and the resin layer are transparent, the substrate is colored (including black and white), and the brightness of the multilayer portion of the substrate, the printed layer, and the resin layer” Is lower than the lightness of the base material, and limits the lightness of the base material color and the lightness of the printed layer. That is, in the technique disclosed in Patent Document 2, when a red pattern having a low brightness of the base color, for example, a black pattern with a higher brightness is printed on the black background, the red pattern is concealed on the black background of the base. It suggests that it will not be a wind print.

Therefore, even if a red dragonfly pattern is printed on a black background, which is one of the representative designs of Indo, using the techniques disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, the brightness of the base color is the brightness of the pattern. Since it is lower, the pattern of the dragonfly is concealed in black, which is the base material color, so that it does not finish in a seal-inspired pattern.

For this reason, in order to print a red pattern on a black base material using the technology disclosed in Patent Document 1 or Patent Document 2, black is printed on a portion other than the base pattern portion, and a red pattern is printed on a white background portion. A process of printing and embossing printing on it is required. However, when offset printing or ink-jet printing is performed by such a method, color shift occurs due to expansion or contraction of the paper, and the base color (white) appears on the cut surface, or the base color (white) ) Appears. In addition, there is a problem that the cost increases because one printing process is added. Furthermore, both the techniques disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 use emboss printing, but emboss printing heats the transparent fat powder even deposited on the pattern and raises the pattern. If the printing plate is 44.5 kg (81.5 g / m 2 ) or less, there is a problem that the paper warps or the paper undulates due to heating.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a printing method of an imprint-style picture that can print a picture in an imprint style regardless of the combination of the color (lightness) of the base material and the color of the picture (lightness). It is in. It is another object of the present invention to provide an optimum printing method for a stamped pattern according to the material and characteristics of a substrate, for example, paper, plastic, wood, leather / skin, acrylic, glass, paper thickness and the like.

According to the present invention, it is possible to print a picture that looks like a seal on the base material, regardless of the combination of the base material color (lightness) and the design color (lightness). Further, according to the present invention, the material / characteristics of the base material, such as paper, plastic, wood, leather / synthetic leather, acrylic, glass, and the like, can be used to print a stamped pattern regardless of the thickness of the paper. A method for printing a pattern can be provided.

The inventor has experimentally verified various printing methods, and has come up with the present invention and completed the invention while repeating trial manufacture. The printing method according to claim 1 of the present invention is a printing method in which an image is printed on a base material with ink and a predetermined treatment is applied to the base material so that the printed surface looks like a stamped leather. In the folding screen pattern printing method, the brightness of the color of the substrate is compared with the brightness of the color of the pattern, and if the brightness of the color of the substrate is lower than the brightness of the color of the pattern, the pattern is 6 μm or more. After printing with the ink film thickness and depositing the resin powder on the substrate, the resin powder in a portion other than the pattern is removed,
A printing method for a stamped-in pattern, wherein the resin powder adhered to the pattern is heated to form a resin layer, and the printing surface of the substrate is printed in a stamped pattern.

A second aspect of the present invention is the printing method of an imprint style picture according to the first aspect, wherein the picture is printed with an ink film thickness of 6 μm or more by silk screen printing.

In the offset printing disclosed in Patent Document 1 described above, the ink film of the pattern becomes very thin due to its structure. For this reason, if the brightness of the pattern is higher than the brightness of the color of the base material, the pattern is concealed by the color of the base material. For example, when a red pattern is printed on a black background, which is one of the typical stamp patterns, the pattern is concealed by the base material color, and the stamp pattern is not finished.

However, it is possible to prevent the pattern from being hidden by the base color by printing the pattern with an ink film thickness of 6 μm or more. One of the methods for printing a pattern with an ink film thickness of 6 μm or more is silk screen printing, and silk screen printing has a structure in which the ink film is several times thicker than offset printing. Without being concealed, the pattern is raised by the resin powder, and can be finished in an imprint-like printed part.

The invention according to claim 3 is a method of an imprint-like pattern in which a pattern is printed with ink on a base material and a predetermined treatment is performed on the base material so that a printed surface looks like a stamped leather.
When the substrate is hard, the pattern is printed by silk screen printing using UV curable ink, the pattern is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and the printed surface of the substrate is printed in a stamping style. This is a method for printing an Indo-style picture.

When the base material is a flexible material such as paper, the printed surface may be bent. The pattern by silk screen printing with thick UV curable ink is not flexible, so if the printed surface is bent, the pattern will be cracked or wrinkled. On the other hand, when the base material is plastic or acrylic, the base material is hard, so that the flexibility of the pattern is not required. Therefore, when the base material is hard, a screen-like pattern is printed using silk screen printing that thickens ultraviolet curable ink.

The invention according to claim 4 is a printing method of an imprint style pattern according to claim 1, wherein when the substrate has water absorption, before the silk screen printing, the ink of the pattern is printed. It is characterized in that the base material is subjected to sealing printing that suppresses absorption.

When the substrate has water absorbency, the pattern ink soaks into the substrate and the resin powder hardly deposits on the pattern. In order to prevent this, in order to suppress the absorption of the ink of the pattern, it is only necessary to perform blind printing in which the ink is applied to the base material in advance. As a result, stable emboss printing can be performed.

The invention according to claim 5 is a printing method of an imprint style picture according to claim 1 or claim 3, wherein the resin powder is used when the substrate is paper and has a predetermined thickness or less. Before heating, preliminary drying is performed, and the heating is performed at 100 ° C. or less.

When the substrate is paper and thin (44.5 kg (81.5 g / m 2 ) or less), the printing temperature for emboss printing is 100 ° C. to 120 ° C. Warping and paper undulation occur In order to prevent this, the paper as the base material is preliminarily dried and then heated at 100 ° C. or lower to fix the resin powder to the pattern.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an overall flowchart for printing an imprint style pattern according to an embodiment of the present invention on a base material. As a base material used as an embodiment of the present invention, if it is a paper product, a business card, origami, box, paper strip, wrapping paper, Chiyogami, postcard, seal, wine label, shochu label, bookmark, book cover, notebook , Notepad, Calendar, Album cover, Coaster, Chopstick bag, Paper bag, Tube, Cardboard, Wallpaper, Paper cup, Paper plate, Envelope, Celebration bag, Pochi bag, Wedding invitation, Wedding table next table, Cup sleep, Tag, Card , Fan, fan, business card holder, stationery, etc.

Plastic products include smartphone covers / cases, buckets, cups, boxes, trash cans, trays, and clear files. In the case of wooden products, furniture such as tables, chairs and TV boards, foreheads, objects, coasters, pencils, boxes, etc. Leather and synthetic leather products include wallets, belts, bags, key cases, business card holders, album covers, and leather shoes. Examples of fabric products include T-shirts, pen cases, bags, shoes, and the like. Acrylic products include key holders, tags, nameplates, furniture, signs, cups, photo stands, cases, and the like. Examples of glass products include bottles and glasses, and in addition to the above, car handles, seats, umbrellas, and the like.

When printing an Indo-style picture, it is first determined whether the substrate is hard, for example, plastic, acrylic, glass, etc., or soft, such as paper, leather, cloth (S1). When the substrate is hard, a picture is printed by silk screen printing with thick UV curable ink (S11), and the ink is cured by irradiating with UV light to produce a printed image with an imprint style (S12, 13). ). This is because the creation of a seal-inspired pattern with ultraviolet curable ink is simple because it requires a small number of processes, but it is unsuitable for soft substrates because the pattern is cracked or cracked.

(S3)。   Next, it is determined whether or not the substrate has water absorbency (S2), and if there is water absorbency, eye print is performed to prevent the ink of the pattern from penetrating into the substrate (S21), Next, the brightness of the base color is compared with the brightness of the pattern (S3).

When the brightness of the pattern is lower than the brightness of the base material, for example, the pattern is printed by offset printing (S31). This is because if the brightness of the pattern is lower than the brightness of the substrate, the pattern is not concealed by the substrate color even in offset printing with a thin ink thickness. On the other hand, when the brightness of the pattern is higher than the brightness of the base material color, the pattern is concealed by the base material, so that the ink film thickness is 6 μm or more, for example, the pattern is printed by silk screen printing (S4). Instead of offset printing, similarly, letterpress ink printing or flexographic ink printing with an ink film thickness of 6 μm or less may be used, and gravure ink printing may be used instead of silk screen printing.

Next, after the transparent resin powder is sprinkled over the entire substrate, the transparent resin powder in portions other than the pattern is removed and heated (emboss printing is performed). Here, when the base material is paper and the thickness thereof is 70.5 kg (127.9 g / m 2 ) or less in the A-row main plate (S5), after preliminary drying (S51), Low-temperature embossing printing is performed at 100 ° C. or lower (S52). This is because when the base material is thin paper, paper warpage or paper waviness is prevented by heating of emboss printing.

(S7)。 When the base material is not thin paper as described above, the base material is heated at 100 ° C. to 200 ° C., and a stamped pattern is printed by normal embossing printing in which the transparent resin powder is fixed to the pattern (S7).

(S100)。   FIG. 2 is a diagram showing details of a printing flowchart of an imprint style pattern when the base material is water-absorbing paper. When the substrate has water absorption, the pattern ink soaks into the substrate, so that the transparent resin powder in the emboss printing is not easily fixed to the surface of the pattern. In order to prevent this, blind printing is performed (S100).

Seal printing is performed on the entire substrate (S110). The ink color of the mesh printing may be either colored or colorless, but it is preferable to use a transparent varnish when it is desired to make use of the base color. Moreover, when a base material is wood, it is suitable to apply | coat a varnish by spraying.

After performing the eye-stop printing, the pattern is silk-screen printed (120). Silk screen printing is characterized in that since the ink film when printing a pattern is several times thicker than offset printing, the pattern is not concealed by the base color even if the brightness of the base color is low. In the process of the present invention, it has been found that the concealability due to the ink film thickness of offset printing and silk screen printing differs by 10 times or more.

After the screen is silk-screen printed, the transparent resin powder is applied to the entire substrate in a state where the ink of the pattern is undried, and the pattern and the transparent resin powder are adhered by their adhesiveness (S130). Next, of the transparent resin powder deposited on the base material, the transparent resin powder other than that adhering to the pattern is removed (S140). As a removal method, blowing off by wind, brush, suction, or the like is preferable.

Next, the substrate is heated to melt the transparent resin powder, and then cooled to fix the resin to the pattern (S150). The heating temperature in normal emboss printing is 100 ° C. to 120 ° C. However, as described above, in the case of low temperature emboss printing, low temperature heating in which heating is performed at 100 ° C. or less after preliminary drying is preferable.
