前記識別手段により識別した人物ごとに、該人物が登場するシーンの数をカウントする第1のカウント手段と、
前記第1のカウント手段によりカウントしたシーンの数に応じて人物の重要度を評価する評価手段と、
前記評価手段により評価した人物の重要度を用いて前記複数の画像から画像を選択し、前記シーンごとに選択した画像をレイアウトするレイアウト手段と、
