Claims (3)
予め登録人物の登録顔画像を記憶する記憶部と、
前記監視画像が取得される度に当該監視画像から顔を含む顔領域画像を抽出する顔検出手段と、
順次取得される前記監視画像にて前記顔領域画像を追跡する顔追跡手段と、
前記監視画像から光源方向を推定する光源方向推定手段と、
前記顔領域画像を略同方向の前記光源方向毎に複数のグループに分類する分類手段と、
前記複数のグループのそれぞれについて、当該グループに含まれる前記顔領域画像と前記登録顔画像とが類似する度合いを表すグループ類似度を求め、当該グループ類似度が最も高いグループを選択するグループ選択手段と、
前記選択されたグループの前記グループ類似度と所定の認証閾値とを比較して、前記監視領域内の人物と前記登録人物とが同一の人物か否かを判定する判定手段と、
