含水率が低いバイオマスケーキを高圧反応器へ加圧供給することができるバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置を提供する。
【解決手段】
バイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置は、螺旋状の第1搬送歯を有する第1スクリュー、螺旋状の第2搬送歯を有する第2スクリュー、並びに、第1スクリュー及び第2スクリューを平行に収容するケーシングを有し、粉状のバイオマスに水を加えたバイオマスケーキを高圧反応器に送り出すスクリューポンプと、スクリューポンプよりも下流に位置し、バイオマスケーキの流れを制限してバイオマスケーキによるマテリアルシールを形成する絞り部と、を備える。

Description
はじめに、第1実施形態について説明する。図1は第1実施形態に係るバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置100の全体構成図である。バイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置100は、粉状のバイオマスに水を加えたバイオマスケーキを加圧し高圧反応器に供給する装置である。図1に示すように、バイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置100は、スクリューポンプ10と、絞り部50とを備えている。以下、これらの構成要素について順に説明する。
スクリューポンプ10は、バイオマスケーキを搬送する装置である。本実施形態では、比較的含水率が低く(例えば、水分70wt%)粘度が高いバイオマスケーキが、スクリューポンプ10に供給される。図2はスクリューポンプ10の水平断面図であり、図3は図2のIII−III矢視断面図であり、図4はスクリューポンプ10の縦断面図である。なお、図4では、第1スクリュー11側を図示している。図2に示すように、スクリューポンプ10は、2軸型スクリューポンプであって、第1スクリュー11と、第2スクリュー21と、ケーシング31と、を有している。
続いて、絞り部50について説明する。絞り部50は、バイオマスケーキの流れを制限してバイオマスケーキによるマテリアルシールを形成するための部分である。図1に示すように、絞り部50は、スクリューポンプ10の下流に位置している。つまり、スクリューポンプ10と高圧反応器の間に位置している。図5は、絞り部50の縦断面図である。図5に示すように、絞り部50は全体として軸心が鉛直方向に延びる円筒状の形状を有している。絞り部50は、下流側部分に円環状の絞り部材51を有している。この絞り部材51は、絞り部50の他の部分に比べて流路面積が小さく形成されている。なお、絞り部材51は、流路面積を変えることができるよう構成されていてもよい。
次に、第2実施形態について説明する。図6は、第2実施形態に係るバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置200の全体構成図である。以下、第2実施形態に係るバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置200について、第1実施形態に係るバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置100と相違する構成を中心に説明する。

Claims (6)
- 螺旋状の第1搬送歯を有する第1スクリュー、螺旋状の第2搬送歯を有する第2スクリュー、並びに、前記第1スクリュー及び前記第2スクリューを平行に収容するケーシングを有し、粉状のバイオマスに水を加えたバイオマスケーキを高圧反応器に送り出すスクリューポンプと、
前記スクリューポンプよりも下流に位置し、前記バイオマスケーキの流れを制限して前記バイオマスケーキによるマテリアルシールを形成する絞り部と、を備えたバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置。 - 前記第1搬送歯の前後で前記第1スクリューを受ける第1軸受と、
前記第2搬送歯の前後で前記第2スクリューを受ける第2軸受と、を備える、請求項1に記載のバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置。 - 前記第1スクリューは第1搬送歯の外周面に螺旋状のシール部材を有し、
前記第2スクリューは第2搬送歯の外周面に螺旋状のシール部材を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置。 - 前記第1スクリュー及び前記第2スクリューの回転速度は、前記絞り部から前記スクリューポンプへ逆流する水の量よりも、前記スクリューポンプ内のバイオマスケーキが吸収可能な水の量の方が多くなるバイオマスケーキの搬送速度となるように設定されている、請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか一の項に記載のバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置。
- 前記スクリューポンプは、前記第1スクリュー及び前記第2スクリューが水平方向に延びるように配置されており、
前記ケーシングの底面には、前記バイオマスケーキを排出する排出口が形成されている、請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか一の項に記載のバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置。 - 前記スクリューポンプは、前記第1スクリュー及び前記第2スクリューが鉛直方向に延びるように配置されており、
前記ケーシングの側面には、前記バイオマスケーキを排出する排出口が形成されている、請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか一の項に記載のバイオマスケーキ加圧供給装置。
