Abstract
Description
新規の熱硬化性材料の形成に対応したシドノン反応の利用に関連した技術分野において、教示となるものはない。したがって、高耐熱性を示すシドノンに基づく熱硬化性材料の生成に対応した方法及びプラットフォームが必要である。そのような材料は、熱伝導性などの先進用途に対応する新規複合材料の生産に対して、拡張性があり及び多目的のプラットフォームとなるので、関心が高い。
例えば、本発明は以下の項目を提供する。
(項目1)
熱硬化性樹脂組成物の生成法であって、シドノン及びアルケンまたはアルキンの少なくとも1つのモノマー混合物の提供、前記混合物の熱的活性化によるオリゴマー形成、及びそのオリゴマーを硬化し、そのため架橋したポリマーを含有する熱硬化性樹脂の形成を含む、前記方法。

前記シドノンが、フェニルビス−シドノンである、上記項目に記載の前記方法。

(摘要)
シドノン及びアルケンまたはアルキンの1つを含むモノマー混合物を与えることを含む、熱硬化性樹脂組成物の生成法。このモノマー混合物は、熱的に活性化され、そのためオリゴマーが、前記アルケンまたはアルキンと前記シドノンとの1,3−双極性環化付加反応により形成される。次いでこのオリゴマーを硬化させ、その結果、架橋したポリマーを含む熱硬化性樹脂組成物を形成する。
当該例示的な熱硬化性樹脂は、2つの異なる2官能シドノンモノマーに基づいている。これらの基本的な構成要素への容易な接触を与えるために、効率的な合成経路を開発した。
2つのビス−マレイミドモノマーを、ジアミンに相応するビスアミド酸のイミド化により生成した。
1,3,5−トリス(フェニルエチニル)ベンゼンン13。フェニルビス−シドノン4とのディールス・アルダー環化付加反応に対応したトリス−アルキンモノマーを、図8に示す単一ステップで生成した。1,3,5−トリブロモベンゼンとフェニルアセチレンの薗頭クロスカップリングにより、収率90%で13を得た。
ステップ1:オリゴマー形成。開始モノマーを、無水NMPに溶解し、次いで凍結ポンプ融解サイクルを使用して得られた溶液を脱気した。その混合物を、多様な時間において望ましい温度で反応させた。反応が完結した後、その反応混合物を室温まで冷却し、及び当該オリゴマーを、メタノールを使用して沈殿させた。得られた固体をブフナー漏斗上でろ過し、及び乾燥した。
熱硬化性樹脂I(TS−I、A分類)は、フェニルビス−シドノン4と、2官能アルケン14としての1,1’−(メチレンジ−4,1−フェニレン)ビスマレイドとの環化付加反応に基づく。
熱硬化性樹脂II(TS−II、A分類)は、フェニルビス−シドノン4とビス−マレイミド10、バルクな2官能アルケンモノマーである、2,2−ビス[4−(4−アミノフェノキシ)フェニル]プロパンとの環化付加反応に基づく。
熱硬化性樹脂−III(TS−III、A分類)は、フェニルビス−シドノン4とビス−マレイミドIII、2官能アルケンモノマーである、1,3−ビス(4−マレイミドフェノキシ)ベンゼンとの環化付加反応に基づく。
GPC評価において、2つのモノマーの消失及びオリゴマーIIIに対応する新規ピークの出現は、完全な反応の方向を示した。その平均分子量(Mn)を、2.3kDaの範囲内に見出した(図28、表8)。
熱硬化性樹脂IV(TS−IV、B分類)は、フェニルビス−シドノン4と、トリス−アルケン13である、1,3,5−トリス(フェニルエチニル)ベンゼンとのディールス・アルダー反応に基づく。
熱硬化性樹脂V(TS−V、B分類)は、フェニルビス−シドノン4と、トリス−アルケン14である、1,3,5−トリエチニルベンゼンとのディールス・アルダー反応に基づく。
当該システムにより柔軟性を導入し及びその脆性を減らすために、TS−IVの生成に使用したフェニルビス−シドノン4を、酸素リンカーを含むより柔軟な、3,3’−(4,4’−ジフェニル)ビスシドニルエーテル8で置き換えた。このビス−シドノン8を、フェニルビス−シドノン4に対応して確立し及びオリゴマーIVの生成に使用した、それと同様の手順を利用して生成した。熱硬化性樹脂VI(TS−VI、B分類)は、フェニルビス−シドノン8と、トリス−アルケン13のディールス・アルダー反応に基づく。
熱硬化性樹脂VII(TS−VII、B分類)は、フェニルビス−シドノン8と、2官能アルケン14としての1,3,5−トリエチニルベンゼンに基づく。
共役の異なるレベルに加えて、熱的特性もまた、その網目の3次元構造に依存する。この因子は、各々の繰り返し単位の幾何学的配置により、決定的に定まるので、本発明の具体例として、当該熱硬化性樹脂の3官能性架橋点に対応したモデル化合物として、小分子のM−I及びM−IIを合成した。
トルエン中(20ml)のN−フェニルシドノン4(200mg、1mmol)及びN−フェニルマレイミド5(430mg、2mmol)の混合物を、95℃で6時間還流した。還流中に、その固体物質を、反応混合物から凝結させた。その反応混合物を冷却し及びろ過し、無色固体の当該物質を得た(500mg、88%)。1H−NMR(600MHz、DMSO−d6):δ7.37−7.28(m,8H),7.13(t,J=7.5Hz,2H),6.86−6.79(m,2H),6.67(m,3H),5.61(s,1H),4.54(d,J=6.8Hz,2H),3.61(d,J=6.8Hz,2H)、13C−NMR(126MHz,DMSO−d6):δ174.3,172.9,144.3,131.7,129.3,128.6,128.4,126.5,121.1,68.2,62.9,49.3、C27H20N4O4[M+Na+]に対するMS(ESI):計算487.15,検出487.18。図58を参照。
無水NMP中(0.5ml)のN−フェニルシドノン4(81mg、0.5mmol)及びフェニルアセチレン6(0.11ml、1mmol)の混合物を、170℃で15時間攪拌した。その後、その反応混合物を室温まで冷却し、及び溶離液としてヘキサン:酢酸エチル(9:1、v/v)を使用したカラムクロマトグラフィーにより精製し、淡色粉体としての純化合物を得た(40mg、36%収率)。1H−NMR(500MHz,DMSO−d6):δ7.05(1H,d,J=7.1Hz),7.31−7.38(2H,m),7.46(2H,m),7.53(2H,m),7.91−7.94(4H,m)、13C−NMR(125MHz,DMSO−d6):δ105.8,118.7,125.9,126.6,128.5,129.2,129.8,130.0,133.2,140.1,152.3、IR,MS。図59を参照。

- 前記商業用熱硬化性樹脂が、Tactix(商標)、Primaset(商標)、 Locktite(商標) 、及び/またはPETI−330(商標)組成物である、請求項28に記載の前記組成物。
