Abstract
Description

1.技術分野
本発明は、一般に、保温熱シールドに関し、とりわけ、巻付け可能な多層の保温熱シールドに関する。
車両排気に対する基準は、酸化窒素および一酸化炭素の排出を低減することにおいて、ますます厳しくなってきている。これらのガスの排出を低減することを促進するために、多くの車両適用例は、たとえば、選択的触媒還元(SCR)適用例を含む。SCR適用例は、典型的には、アンモニアまたは尿素溶液を触媒コンバータの上流の排気管に注入するための導管を組込む。注入された溶液は蒸発して排気ガスと混合することにより化学反応を引き起こし、それは、酸化窒素および一酸化炭素排出を低減し、その代わりに窒素と水とを発生させる。しかしながら、SCR適用例を効率よく実行するためには、注入された溶液と混合する排気ガスが最高の高温に留まることを必要とし、そうでない場合には、意図される酸化窒素ガスおよび一酸化炭素ガスの化学変換が逆方向に影響を受け、非効率的となり、それによって、望ましくないその排出をもたらす結果となる。したがって、排気ガスを、排気システムに沿って上流に、かつSCRシステム内において最高温度に維持することは、望ましく、かつ重要である。
この発明の1つの態様に従うと、可撓性のある巻付け可能な多層化された熱シールドが提供される。熱シールドは、反射性の最外層と、高温糸からなる最内層と、最外層と最内層との間に挟まれる不織材料からなる中間層とを含む。そのようなものとして、熱シールドは、各層が意図されるように別々に機能すること、およびさらにはともに機能して、熱シールドが全体として意図されるように機能することを可能にする相乗効果を与えることを可能にする態様で互いを保護する少なくとも3つの異なる層からなる。

Claims (15)

反射性の最外層と、
インターレース加工された高温糸からなる最内層と、
前記最外層と前記最内層との間に挟まれる不織材料からなる中間層とを備える、保護的熱シールド。 - 前記最外層は不浸透性である、請求項1に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記最外層は金属である、請求項2に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記最外層はアルミ箔である、請求項3に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記最内層は織られている、請求項1に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記最内層は編組されている、請求項1に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記最内層は編成されている、請求項1に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記編成最内層は、編成内側層および編成外側層が互いに対して編成中間層を介して編成固定される、請求項7に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記インターレース加工された高温糸は、バサルト、シリカ、セラミックおよびステンレス鋼からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記中間層は高温繊維から形成される、請求項1に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 前記高温繊維は繊維ガラスである、請求項10に記載の保護的熱シールド。
- 多層化された巻付け可能な壁部を有する保護的排気システム熱シールドであって、
不浸透性の金属箔から形成される反射性の最外層と、
バサルト、シリカ、セラミックおよびステンレス鋼からなる群から選択されるインターレース加工された高温糸からなる最内層と、
前記最外層と前記最内層との間に挟まれる高温不織材料から形成される中間層とを備える、保護的排気システム熱シールド。 - 前記高温不織材料は繊維ガラスである、請求項12に記載の保護的排気システム熱シールド。
- 前記最内層の前記インターレース加工された高温糸は編成される、請求項12に記載の保護的排気システム熱シールド。
