Claims (48)
- 脊椎固定術中、患者において、隣接する椎体によって取り囲まれている椎間腔の中に移植するための椎体間移植物であって、該移植物は、
該移植物を形成している1つ以上の細長い部材を含み、該1つ以上の細長い部材は、間に高さを有する上側表面および下側表面と、間に幅を有する内側表面および外側表面とを有し、
該上側表面および該下側表面は、該椎体を係合するような形状にされ、
該高さは、該椎間腔の中に嵌るようなサイズにされている所定の距離に設定され、
該幅は、該所定の高さよりも短い所定の距離に設定され、
該椎体間移植物は、第1の構成と、第2の構成と、第3の構成とを有し、
該椎体間移植物は、該第1の構成において、内側表面および外側表面が該椎体に接触するように該椎間腔の中に挿入され、
該椎体間移植物は、上側表面および下側表面が該椎体を係合するように該第2の構成へ作動され、該第1の構成から該第2の構成への該移植物の作動は、該椎体を互いから離れる方へ伸延して、該椎間腔を増大し、
該移植物は、移植物の幅が該第1の構成または該第2の構成における椎体間移植物の幅よりも大きい該第3の構成へ作動される、移植物。 - 前記第2の構成は、前記第1の構成と同じ幅および高さを有する、請求項1に記載の移植物。
