Description

Claims (14)
- 外科プローブであって、
近位端で多点光ビームを受光し、かつ遠位端で前記多点光ビームを出射するように構成された屈折率分布(GRIN)ファイバーを有するカニューレアセンブリと、
アダプタであって、
前記GRINファイバーの前記近位端を有する前記カニューレアセンブリを受容するように構成される遠位端と、
コネクタを介して光ガイドに結合し、かつレーザー源から前記アダプタへ前記光ガイドによって送達される光を受光するように構成される近位端と、
前記光ガイドによって送達された前記光を前記GRINファイバーの前記近位端に結合するように構成された界面と、を有するアダプタと、を備え、
前記GRINファイバーの長さが、光凝固手術中、前記界面を患者の眼の外側にしておくように十分に長い、外科プローブ。 - 前記光ガイドが、ファイバー束を備える、請求項1に記載の外科プローブ。
- 前記光ガイドが、単一光ファイバーを備え、
前記アダプタが、前記界面で、
前記光ファイバーに光学的に結合されたレンズと、
前記レンズに光学的に結合された回折ビームスプリッタと、を備える、請求項1に記載の外科プローブ。 - 前記GRINファイバーの長さが、30〜100mmの範囲内である、請求項1に記載の外科プローブ。
- 前記カニューレアセンブリが、
前記GRINファイバーを円筒状に入れるように構成されたカニューレと、
ハンドピースであって、
前記カニューレを前記アダプタに結合することと、
熱交換システムを提供することと、
外科医または外科的機械によって操作されることと、のうちの少なくとも1つのために構成されたハンドピースと、を備える、請求項1に記載の外科プローブ。 - 前記カニューレが、熱伝導性が高い金属を含む、請求項5に記載の外科プローブ。
- 前記GRINファイバーが、前記GRINファイバーの長さに沿って熱伝導性が高い接着剤を用いて前記カニューレの中に入れられる、請求項5に記載のカニューレアセンブリ。
- 前記カニューレアセンブリは、使い捨てであり、
前記アダプタは、使い捨てではない、請求項1に記載の外科プローブ。 - 前記外科プローブは外科光システムに光学的に結合される、前記外科プローブであって、
前記光ガイドに光を提供するように構成された光源と、
前記外科光システムの動作を制御するように構成された制御プロセッサと、を備える、請求項1に記載の外科プローブ。 - 外科プローブを製造する方法であって、
近位端で多点光ビームを受光し、かつ遠位端で前記多点光ビームを出射するように構成された屈折率分布(GRIN)ファイバーをカニューレシステムの中に入れることと、
前記GRINファイバーの前記近位端を有する前記カニューレシステムをアダプタの遠位端に結合することと、
コネクタを介して、レーザー源から前記アダプタに光を送達するように構成された光ガイドを前記アダプタの近位端に結合することと、を含み、
前記アダプタが、前記光ガイドによって送達された前記光を前記GRINファイバーの前記近位端に結合するように構成された界面を備え、
前記GRINファイバーの長さが、光凝固手術中、前記界面を患者の眼の外側にしておくように十分に長い、方法。 - 前記光ガイドを結合することが、
ファイバー束を前記アダプタの前記近位端に結合することを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記光ガイドを結合することが、
単一光ファイバーを前記アダプタの前記近位端に結合することを含み、
