In Patent Document 1, a translucent lens cover that covers a partial mounting base on which an LED lamp is attached to a rear end of a side of a vehicle body is attached, and a window panel made of a separate member is attached to the front of the lens cover. Is disclosed.

7)Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2008-16407 (FIG. 7)

However, in Patent Document 1, since the window panel and the lens cover are formed of separate members, the number of parts increases and the cost increases.

Further, the boundary between the wind panel and the vehicle body panel and the boundary between the lens cover and the vehicle body panel are exposed between the wind panel and the lens cover, and the appearance of the rear end of the side part of the automobile is deteriorated.

This invention is made | formed in view of this point, and it aims at reducing the number of parts and reducing cost, and improving the appearance of the side part rear end of a motor vehicle.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is characterized in that a part of the wind panel serves as a lens cover.

Specifically, the present invention is directed to a rear structure of an automobile in which a resin window panel is attached to an opening provided at a side rear end of a vehicle body, and the following solution is taken.

In other words, according to a first aspect of the present invention, the wind panel has a rear surface portion whose plate surface is directed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and a side surface portion that projects integrally from the outer end portion in the vehicle width direction of the rear surface portion toward the front of the vehicle body. A transparent or semi-transparent transparent panel, and a translucent concealing layer formed so as to overlap a part of the transparent panel from the passenger compartment side, and at least a part of a rear surface portion of the transparent panel Constitutes a translucent part without overlapping with the concealing layer, and at least part of the side part of the transparent panel constitutes a window part without overlapping with the concealing layer. Is characterized in that a housing is attached so as to have a space between the wind panel and a light source for irradiating light to the outside of the vehicle via the light transmitting portion is accommodated in the space. To do.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, a translucent back surface layer having a light transmissivity lower than that of the transparent panel is integrally formed on a surface of the translucent portion on the vehicle interior side.

According to the first invention, the translucent part of the wind panel plays the role of a lens cover that covers the light source from the outside of the vehicle. Therefore, the number of parts and the cost can be reduced as compared with the case where the wind panel and the lens cover are configured as separate members. Can be reduced.

Moreover, since the window part and the translucent part are comprised with the transparent panel of the integral thing, the deterioration of the appearance by the exposure of the boundary between members does not arise, and the external appearance of the side part rear end of a motor vehicle is clear.

According to the second aspect of the invention, since the rear surface layer having low light transmittance is integrally formed on the light transmitting portion, the inside of the space portion is hardly visible from the outside of the vehicle through the light transmitting portion when the light source is turned off. The boundary between the concealing layer and the translucent part is inconspicuous, making it difficult to distinguish between the two. Therefore, the appearance of the rear end of the side part of the automobile is clean.

A side wall portion 29b that protrudes integrally from the vehicle body to the front of the vehicle body and faces the translucent portion 25d of the side surface portion 25b of the transparent panel 25 from the vehicle compartment side.

A concave groove 29c having a substantially U-shaped cross section and extending in the vertical direction is formed in the middle of the rear wall 29a in the width direction and the vertical direction. An LED 31 serving as a light source for irradiating light to the outside of the vehicle through the light transmitting portion 25d is attached to a central portion in the width direction and the vertical direction of the bottom surface of the concave groove portion 29c in a state of being accommodated in the space portion S. ing.

In addition, a protruding wall portion 29d whose plate surface is directed in the vertical direction is integrally projected from the upper end edge and the lower end edge of the concave groove portion 29c toward the rear of the vehicle body. These protruding wall portions 29d suppress the spread of the light irradiated by the LED 31 in the vertical direction.

On the outer peripheral edge of the rear wall portion 29a and the side wall portion 29b, a peripheral wall portion 29e is integrally projected over the entire circumference toward the vehicle outer side (the wind panel 23 side), and the protruding end portion of the peripheral wall portion 29e is provided. The protrusion part 27c of the said concealing layer 27 is contact | abutting from the inner peripheral side.

In addition, an adhesive wall portion 29f facing the concealing layer 27 is formed integrally on the projecting end edge of the peripheral wall portion 29e so as to extend over the entire circumference, and the adhesive wall portion 29f is formed as the light transmitting portion. It is joined to the concealment layer 27 through the adhesive B3 over the entire circumference so as to surround 25d.

An outer side rib 29g extending in the circumferential direction is integrally provided at the outer peripheral side end portion of the adhesive wall 29f so as to project integrally on the concealing layer 27 side (vehicle outer side). Further, on the adhesive wall 29f facing the concealing layer 27 in the recess 25c, an inner rib 29h extending in the circumferential direction on the inner peripheral side with respect to the outer rib 29g is provided on the concealing layer 27 side (vehicle side). Projected integrally on the outside. When the tip surfaces of the outer rib 29g and the inner rib 29h are in contact with the concealing layer 27, the approach between the adhesive wall portion 29f and the concealing layer 27 is restricted during the application of the adhesive B3. Further, the outer rib 29g regulates the outflow of the adhesive B3 to the outer peripheral side, and the inner rib 29h and the protrusion 27c of the concealing layer 27 restrict the outflow of the adhesive B3 to the inner peripheral side. The

A plate-like attachment piece 29j protrudes toward the front of the vehicle body at the outer peripheral end of the adhesive wall 29f facing the concealing layer 27 of the recess 25c, and at the tip of the attachment piece 29j. A fastening hole 29i that penetrates in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body is formed. Then, the housing 29 is fastened to the vehicle body 3 at the periphery of the second opening 21 (the vehicle width direction inner side of the second opening 21) by inserting the bolt 33 into the fastening hole 29i of the mounting piece 29j from the rear of the vehicle. Has been.

A light diffusion lens 35 for diffusing the light of the LED 31 is attached to the housing 29 with an adhesive (not shown) so as to close the concave groove 29c. Accordingly, since the entire surface of the light diffusion lens 35 emits light when the LED 31 is turned on, light unevenness can be suppressed as compared with the case where the light diffusion lens 35 is not provided.

The D pillar portion 3a, the vehicle body 3 behind the D pillar portion 3a, and the housing 29 are covered with a common resin trim 37 from the vehicle compartment side.

Therefore, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the translucent portion 25d of the wind panel 23 serves as a lens cover that covers the LED 31 from the outside of the vehicle, so that the window panel 23 and the lens cover are configured as separate members. The number of parts and the cost can be reduced.

Moreover, since the window part 25e and the translucent part 25d are comprised by the integral transparent panel 25, the appearance of the appearance by the exposure of the boundary between members does not arise, and the external appearance of the side part rear end of the motor vehicle 1 is clean. .

In addition, since the rear end portion of the wind panel 23 forms a closed cross section with the housing 29, the rigidity of the rear end portion of the wind panel 23 can be increased to prevent breakage or deformation. Further, since the housing 29 constituting the closed cross section is connected to the vehicle body 3 via the attachment piece 29j, the rigidity of the rear end portion of the wind panel 23 can be further enhanced.

Further, since the housing 29 is bonded to both the rear surface portion and the side surface portion of the wind panel 23, the rear end portion of the wind panel 23 can be prevented from being deformed in the vehicle longitudinal direction and the vehicle width direction.

(Embodiment 2)
5 and 6 show the rear part of the automobile (hatchback car) 1 to which the rear structure according to the second embodiment of the present invention is applied. In the second embodiment, the rear wall portion 11a that overlaps the rear surface portion 25a of the transparent panel 25 of the wind panel 23 from the rear on both sides in the vehicle width direction of the door outer panel 11 of the back door 7, and the vehicle of the rear wall portion 11a. Side wall portions 11b projecting forward from the vehicle body from the width direction outer edge are formed. A minute gap C <b> 2 is formed in the front-rear direction between the side wall portion 11 b of the door outer panel 11 and the transparent panel 25 of the window panel 23. Further, the side wall portion 11b of the door outer panel 11 and the side surface portion 25b of the transparent panel 25 are flush with each other on the outer side in the vehicle width direction.

The shielding layer 17b is formed on the rear wall portion 11a of the door outer panel 11 over the entire area excluding the region facing the light diffusion lens 35 (the concave groove portion 29c of the housing 29). And the main body panel 17a of the area | region facing the said light-diffusion lens 35 comprises the permeation | transmission part 39 which permeate | transmits the light irradiated from said LED31 to the vehicle exterior, without overlapping with the said shielding layer 17b.

Since other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted.

Therefore, according to the second embodiment, when the back door 7 is closed, the gap C1 between the transparent panel 25 of the wind panel 23 and the door outer panel 11 of the back door 7 is not formed in the rear part of the vehicle 1. The appearance from behind is improved.

(Embodiment 3)
FIG. 7 shows a rear portion of an automobile (hatchback vehicle) 1 to which a rear structure according to Embodiment 3 of the present invention is applied. In the third embodiment, the rear surface made of a light-transmitting film having a light transmittance lower than that of the transparent panel 25 is formed on the surface of the transparent panel 25 on the side of the passenger compartment 27 where the concealing layer 27 is formed and the light-transmitting portion 25d constituent area. The layer 41 is integrally formed. The concealing layer 27 is formed on the back layer 41 by silk printing.

The film constituting the back surface layer 41 is a translucent dark resin film called a smoke film, and is made of, for example, polycarbonate (PC) or polymethyl methacrylate resin (PMMA). The light transmittance of the back surface layer 41 is, for example, about 2% to 20%. On the other hand, the masking layer 27 is a black light-shielding coating layer, and the light transmittance of the masking layer 27 is, for example, about 0% to 2%.

In the wind panel 23 configured as described above, the back layer 41 made of a film is set in a cavity of a molding die in a state in which the concealing layer 27 is formed by silk printing, and the anti-concealing layer 27 side of the back layer 41 is arranged. It can be molded by injecting the resin for molding the transparent panel 25 to the above.

Therefore, according to the third embodiment, the back surface layer 41 having a low light transmittance is integrally formed with the light transmitting portion 25d. Therefore, when the LED 31 is turned off, the space portion S is visually recognized from the outside of the vehicle through the light transmitting portion 25d. It is hard to be done. Therefore, the boundary between the concealing layer 27 of the wind panel 23 and the translucent portion 25d is inconspicuous, making it difficult to distinguish between the two, so that a so-called blackout state can be achieved, and the appearance of the rear end of the side portion of the automobile 1 is clean.

In the first to third embodiments, a transparent panel 25 is used, but a translucent panel may be used.

Further, the concealing layer 27 may be formed only on the side surface portion 25b, and the entire rear surface portion 25a may constitute the light transmitting portion 25d. Further, the concealing layer 27 may be formed only on the rear surface portion 25a, and the entire side surface portion 25b may constitute the window portion 25e.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is useful as a rear structure of an automobile in which a resin window panel is attached to an opening provided at a side rear end of a vehicle body.
