Abstract
【解決手段】溶接方法は、横向き姿勢でアーク溶接を行うことが可能に、接続形材15の上端面21a,22aと側構体12の下端面31a,32aとの間に開先41,42を形成する開先形成工程と、アーク溶接によって開先41,42に溶融金属を充填して接続形材15と側構体12とを溶接する溶接工程とを含む。開先形成工程において、開先41,42を底部側から大気に連通させる隙間S1,S2を形成する。

Claims (5)
- 横向き姿勢又は上向き姿勢でアーク溶接を行うことが可能に、母材の端面を別の母材の端面に向かい合わせてその間に開先を形成する開先形成工程と、
前記アーク溶接によって前記開先に溶融金属を充填して前記2つの母材を溶接する溶接工程とを含む母材溶接方法において、
前記開先形成工程において、前記2つの母材に亘り且つ前記開先の底部を構成する裏当て板部と少なくとも一方の母材との間に、前記開先を前記底部側から大気に連通させる隙間を形成することを特徴とする母材溶接方法。 - 前記開先形成工程において、前記横向き姿勢で前記アーク溶接を行うことが可能に、且つ、前記隙間が前記開先の底部から上方に延在するように、前記2つの母材及び前記裏当て板部を配置させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の母材溶接方法。
- 前記2つの母材は、互いに嵌合可能な中空押出形材から構成されており、
前記開先形成工程において、前記2つの母材を嵌合させることで前記開先を形成することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の母材溶接方法。 - 前記裏当て板部は、前記一方の母材に一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の母材溶接方法。
- 前記裏当て板部には、前記隙間を構成する溝が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の母材溶接方法。
