Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態に係る表示装置の構成を概略的に示すブロック図であり、図2は、タッチスクリーンのタッチセンサを概略的に示す例示図であり、図3は、共通電極からなるタッチスクリーンを示す例示図であり、図4は、インセルタッチ方式の時分割駆動技術を説明するための波形例示図である。
図9は、表示装置に適用された従来の統合駆動回路を示す図であり、図10は、従来に提案された方式で表れる共通電圧の偏差の問題を説明するための図であり、図11は、従来に提案された統合駆動回路の抵抗差による共通電圧のレベル偏差を説明するための図であり、図12は、従来に提案された方式の問題点を説明するための図である。
図13は、本発明の一実施形態に係る統合駆動回路を概略的に示す図であり、図14及び図15は、図13に示された統合駆動回路の一部をより詳しく説明するための図であり、図16は、本発明の一実施形態に係る改善点を説明するための図である。
デコーダ部DECは、共通電圧補償信号VCSに対応して補償共通電圧を設け、これを出力する。デコーダ部DECは、高電位電圧VDD(またはデータ信号を形成する電圧)を基準電圧としてドロップされた共通電圧を補償する補償共通電圧を出力する。デコーダ部DECは、抵抗ストリングRdを介して自身から出力される電圧を調整し、共通電圧を補償する補償共通電圧を出力することができる。
Claims (7)
- 映像を表示する表示パネルと、
前記表示パネル内に位置するタッチスクリーンと、
前記表示パネルに映像を表示するディスプレイ駆動期間の間、共通電圧を出力し、前記タッチスクリーンをセンシングするタッチスクリーン駆動期間の間、タッチ駆動信号を出力する統合駆動回路と
を備え、
前記統合駆動回路は、前記表示パネルにデータ信号を出力するデータ駆動回路と、前記データ駆動回路と区分されて位置し、前記タッチスクリーンに前記タッチ駆動信号を出力する一対のタッチスクリーン駆動回路とを有し、
前記一対のタッチスクリーン駆動回路は、外部コントローラから出力された活性化信号に対応して活性化されるか、不活性化される一対の共通電圧補償回路を有し、前記一対の共通電圧補償回路のうち、活性化された補償回路は、前記表示パネルに供給される共通電圧を補償する補償共通電圧を出力する
ことを特徴とするタッチセンサを有する表示装置。 - 前記一対の共通電圧補償回路のうち、活性化された補償回路は、不活性化された補償回路に対して共通電圧が入力される入力端から遠く離れている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサを有する表示装置。 - 前記一対の共通電圧補償回路は、
前記外部コントローラから出力された共通電圧補償信号に対応して補償共通電圧の補償比をプログラマブルに異なるようにする
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサを有する表示装置。 - 前記一対の共通電圧補償回路は、
高電位電圧を基準電圧として前記補償共通電圧を可変して出力する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサを有する表示装置。 - 前記一対の共通電圧補償回路は、
前記外部コントローラから出力された共通電圧補償信号に対応して補償共通電圧の補償比をプログラマブルに異なるようにするデコーダ部と、
前記外部コントローラから出力されたタッチ同期信号に対応して前記ディスプレイ駆動期間の間、前記補償共通電圧を出力するか、前記タッチスクリーン駆動期間の間、タッチ駆動信号と電圧または位相が同一である信号を出力するMUX部と、
を備える
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサを有する表示装置。 - 前記一対の共通電圧補償回路は、
前記表示パネルに供給されるデータ信号のデータ遷移が激しいスミアパターン(Smear Pattern)の発生の際に活性化される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサを有する表示装置。 - 前記統合駆動回路は、
前記データ駆動回路の左右側面に前記一対のタッチスクリーン駆動回路が位置し、
前記補償共通電圧は、前記一対のタッチスクリーン駆動回路に伝達される共通電圧を同様に維持する値で設定される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサを有する表示装置。
