Description

The present invention relates to a mold holder (main mold) for holding a mold for forming a cavity of an injection molding apparatus and a repair method thereof.

Conventionally, mold structures such as resin molding dies, press dies, and die casting dies have been repaired because cracks and wear gradually occur on the contact surface between the die and its die holder. ing.

As a repair method, a mold part is removed or a concave part is formed by performing simple machining on a crack or a worn part without removing the mold part, and this concave part is overlaid by arc welding, laser welding, or thermal spraying. And then a machining process is performed to obtain a regular dimension. As another method different from these methods, there is known a method in which an iron-based alloy powder is coated on a portion to be repaired of a mold structure and heat-treated as described in Patent Document 1.

However, in any of the above methods, it is necessary to machine a cracked surface or a worn surface, it is necessary to weld build-up, and the built-up portion is machined to a predetermined surface shape. There is a problem that many devices are necessary for the repairing process and that much labor is required. When such a repair method is employed, the molding apparatus is stopped for at least several days, which causes a problem that productivity is lowered.

Therefore, in the present invention, when repairing the contact surface of the mold holder (main mold) with the mold in the mold structure, a simple method without including steps such as direct overlay welding to the contact surface A mold holder that can be repaired by the method and a repair method thereof are provided.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, a plurality of recesses are provided on the contact surface of the mold holder that accommodates and holds the mold with the back surface of the mold, and a plate member for repair and replacement is provided in the recess. I tried to accommodate it.

That is, the mold holder disclosed here holds a mold that forms a cavity of an injection molding apparatus, and a mold holder main body in which a plurality of recesses are provided in a contact surface portion that contacts the mold. And a plate member set so that the surface is positioned on the mold side in each of the plurality of recesses, and the contact surface portion of the mold holder body and the surface of the plate member are substantially plane It is characterized by being one.

According to the present invention, since the surface of the plate member is in contact with the back surface of the mold, even if the plate member is cracked or worn due to thermal stress or the like, the plate member is replaced with a new one, or By removing the plate member, repairing the crack or wear surface, and setting it in the recess again, a die holder that can be repaired by a simple method without including steps such as direct overlay welding to the die holder is provided. be able to.

The mold holder body is preferably made of cast iron, carbon steel or the like, and particularly preferably made of cast iron. The plate member is preferably made of hot tool steel such as SKD7 or SKD61, or Cr—Mo steel, and particularly preferably Cr—Mo steel. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the mold holder main body is made of cast iron, and the plate member is made of a Cr—Mo based steel material. As a result, the plate member can be processed with high accuracy during repair while having the same strength as the mold holder main body.

In addition, a circular shape, an elliptical shape, a rectangular shape, a polygonal shape, or the like can be adopted as the shape of the plurality of concave portions. In addition, the plate member may have a circular shape, an elliptical shape, a quadrangular shape, a polygonal shape, etc. as in the case of the plurality of concave portions, but the same shape as the concave portion so as to be fitted into the concave portion. It is preferable to be formed.

In a particularly preferred aspect, the plurality of recesses are circular recesses having a center in a direction perpendicular to the contact surface part, and the plate member is a circle formed to be fitted into the circular recesses. It is a board.

Thereby, while being able to utilize a general round bar steel material as a plate member, processings, such as height adjustment, can be performed accurately using an on-site lathe. Therefore, the plate member can be repaired in a shorter time and at a lower cost.

Further, when cast iron and Cr—Mo steel materials are used for the mold holder main body and the plate member, respectively, their linear thermal expansion coefficients are 10.5 and 11.2, respectively. The stress is applied to the. Therefore, when the plate member is a disk, the stress is uniformly distributed over the entire side surface of the recess, so that the occurrence of deformation or cracking can be suppressed.

In a preferred embodiment, the plurality of plate members are provided with a cutout portion in which at least a part of the outer peripheral portion of the plate member is cut out, or at least one of the through holes.

Thereby, functional members, such as an ejector pin and a cooling pipe, can be penetrated in a metal mold | die structure through the said notch part or a through-hole.

In addition, the said notch part or through-hole can be made into the shape match | combined with the shape of the said functional member. Specifically, for example, when the cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the functional member is circular, it is preferable to form the cutout portion in a substantially arc shape and the through hole in a circular shape. The substantially arc-shaped notch can be processed by milling or drilling with a drilling machine, and the through hole can also be processed by drilling.

The mold holder repair method disclosed herein is a method suitable for repairing a mold holder that holds a mold that forms a cavity of an injection molding apparatus, and the mold holder includes the mold holder. When the die member body is provided with a die holder body provided with a plurality of recesses in the abutting surface part abutting on the die, and a plate member set so that the surface is located on the die side. The plate member having a height substantially the same as the depth of the concave portion is replaced or welded to the worn plate member and machined so as to have a height substantially the same as the depth of the concave portion. It is characterized by being set to.

According to the present invention, it is possible to repair the mold holder by a simple method without including a process such as direct overlay welding to the mold holder.

The mold holder and the repair method thereof according to the present invention can be preferably applied to both the movable mold holder and the fixed mold holder, and particularly preferably can be applied to the fixed mold holder.

As described above, according to the present invention, when repairing the contact surface with the mold of the mold holder in the mold structure, it does not include a process such as direct overlay welding to the contact surface, Repair can be done by a simple method.

<Fixed mold holder>
FIG. 1 shows a fixed mold structure provided with a mold holder according to the present embodiment. In the present embodiment, the mold holder according to the present invention is applied to a fixed mold holder.

As shown in FIG. 1, the fixed mold structure 1 includes a fixed mold 3 (mold) that forms a cavity 2, and a fixed mold holder 4 (mold holder) that holds the fixed mold 3. ing.

The fixed mold holder 4 according to the present embodiment has a fixed mold holder main body 5 (mold holder main body) in which a plurality of circular concave portions 53 (a plurality of concave portions) are provided in the contact surface portion 52 that contacts the fixed mold 3. And a disc plate member 6 (plate member) set in each of the circular recesses 53.

As shown in FIG. 2, the circular recess 53 has a center in a direction perpendicular to the abutting surface portion 52, and the disk plate member 6 is fitted to each of the circular recesses 53. It is formed in a shape.

As shown in FIG. 3, the disc plate member 6 </ b> A includes a front surface 61, a back surface 62, and a side surface 63 (outer peripheral portion). A screw hole 64 for screwing the disc plate member 6A to the fixed mold holder body 5 is formed in the center of the disc plate member 6A. Then, the disk plate member 6A is set in the circular recess 53 and fixed with screws so that the surface 61 thereof is located on the fixed mold 3 side.

And as shown in FIG. 1, the contact surface part 52 of the fixed mold holder main body 5 and the surface 61 of the disc plate member 6 are made substantially flush.

Further, the disc plate member 6B shown in FIG. 4 is provided with a notch 65 having a part of its side 63 cut out in a substantially arc shape and a through hole 66 for inserting a cooling pipe or the like. Such notches 65 and through-holes 66 are formed at predetermined positions of the plurality of disk plate members 6 in order to allow functional members such as cooling pipes and ejector pins to pass through the mold structure.

The fixed mold 3 and the fixed mold holder main body 5 are made of cast iron, and the disc plate member 6 is made of a Cr—Mo steel material. Thereby, the disc plate member 6 can be processed with high accuracy during repairing while having the same strength as the fixed mold holder main body 5.

<Repair method for fixed mold holder>
The fixed mold holder according to the present embodiment is repaired by replacing the disc plate member 6 with a height substantially the same as the depth of the circular recess 53 when the disc plate member 6 is worn. Can do.

Further, repairing can be performed by performing build-up welding on the worn disc plate member 6, performing machining so as to be substantially the same height as the depth of the circular concave portion 53, and setting the circular concave portion 53.

Therefore, for example, when the disc plate member 6 is worn, the disc plate member 6 is replaced with the disc plate member 6 having a height substantially the same as the depth of the circular recess 53, and the used disc plate member 6 taken out is described above. If it is welded as described above and machined so as to have the same height as the depth of the circular recess 53, it can be reused as the disc plate member 6 for replacement. Thereby, the fixed mold holder 4 can be repaired simply and at low cost without reducing productivity.

As described above, according to the present invention, even if the disc plate member 6 is cracked or worn due to thermal stress or the like, a process such as direct overlay welding to the fixed mold holder body 5 is performed. It is possible to repair by a simple method.

Further, as described above, by adopting the circular recess 53 and the disk plate member 6, it is possible to use a general round bar steel material and to perform processing such as height adjustment with high precision using a lathe on site. It can be carried out. Further, since the stress applied from the disk plate member 6 to the side surface of the circular concave portion 53 is uniformly distributed over the entire side surface of the circular concave portion 53, the occurrence of deformation and cracking can be suppressed.

In addition, although the circular recessed part 53 and the disc plate member in this embodiment were circular shape, what kind of shapes, such as elliptical shape, square shape, and polygonal shape, can be employ | adopted.

Further, the mold holder according to the present invention can be applied not only to a fixed mold holder but also to a movable mold holder.

In the present invention, when repairing the contact surface of the mold holder with the mold in the mold structure, it does not include a process such as direct overlay welding to the contact surface and can be repaired by a simple method.
