親水コロイド接着剤の処方は周知であるが、抗菌剤、収斂薬、または銀以外の広範囲の医薬品を含有する親水コロイドは周知ではない。典型的に、親水コロイド製剤化及び製造は、それらはより安定でないため、一般的に使用される抗菌剤または広範囲の医薬品と適合しない。我々の目的は、広範囲の医薬品として過酸化物を用い得る親水コロイド製剤を開発することであった。過酸化物の不安定な性質、接着剤内の高分子量成分、及び典型的な製造工程の温度プロファイルを考慮すると、我々は成功するとは考えなかった。
上記の製剤の有効性を確認するために、我々は、30ミルの厚さで1”打ち抜き円によって、大腸菌(Escherichia coli(E. coli))及びMRSAを死滅させる各製剤の能力を試験した。寒天スラリー法を使用して、各試料を大腸菌及びMRSAに対して試験した。これらの試料の接種レベルは、6対数(ログ)だけより高かった(1つの平板培地につき1×106個以上の細胞で播種)。
実施例1の接着性製剤を含む企図される器具10の一例を、図4に示す。器具10は、例えば、セルロース材料またはプラスチック材料で作られた、無菌ガーゼ様または他の吸収性材料であってもよい中央部分12、及びここに記載される接着性製剤を含んでもよい周辺部分14を含んでもよい。あるいは、中央部分12は、過酸化金属塩SAP製剤を構成してもよく、周辺部分14は、非粘着性の表面を提供するセルロース材料またはプラスチック材料などの支持材料であってもよい。ここで、更なる変更が企図される。器具10は、示されるような正方形配置などの任意の寸法を有してもよく、または矩形、三角形、楕円形、円等であってもよい。
Claims (20)
- 隔絶した過酸化物源を含む抗菌感圧接着性組成物。
- 前記組成物が親水コロイドを含む、請求項1の組成物。
- 前記親水コロイドが連続相及び不連続相を含む、請求項2の組成物。
- 前記連続相が、永久粘着感圧接着剤、スチレン含有熱可塑性エラストマー、液体ゴム、低分子量ポリイソブチレン、安定剤、低分子量液体ポリブテン、熱可塑性エラストマー、及びこれらの組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性エラストマーが、他の高分子量成分を結束する、請求項4の組成物。
- 前記不連続相が、水溶性ポリマー、水膨潤性吸収性ポリマー、亜鉛、親水コロイドガム、及びこれらの組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項3の組成物。
- 前記水膨潤性ポリマーが、架橋カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、結晶性カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、及びこれらの組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項6の組成物。
- 前記水溶性ポリマーが、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、ペクチン、ゼラチン、グアーガム、アラビカガム、ローカストビーンガム、コラーゲン、カラヤガム、デンプン、及びこれらの組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項6の組成物。

- 前記器具が、漏出を封止し、匂いを防止し、糞便汚染を防止し、泌尿器周辺の衛生を増大するように機能する、請求項11の失禁用器具。
- ある量の過酸化物を含む接着材料を含み、
前記量の過酸化物が、前記接着材料内に少なくとも0.05%の活性過酸化物を提供するのに十分である、接着性器具。 - 前記器具が、パッチ、包帯、及びブランクからなる群から選択される、請求項13の接着性器具。
- 前記器具がその片面に非粘着層を備える、請求項14の接着性器具。
- 前記器具が吸収性材料を含む、請求項15の接着性器具。

- 約2重量%〜約45重量%の1つ以上のポリイソブチレン、または1つ以上のポリイソブチレン及びブチルゴムの混和物と、
約0.01重量%〜約40重量%の鉱物油と、
約1.0重量%〜約30重量%の1つ以上のスチレン放射状またはブロック型コポリマーと、
約10重量%〜約65重量%の1つ以上の水溶性親水コロイドガムと、
最大約15重量%の1つ以上の水膨潤性凝集強化剤と、
約2.5重量%〜約20重量%の粘着付与剤と、
約0.01重量%〜約30重量%の超吸収性ポリマーと、
約0.01重量%〜約10重量%の金属塩と、
約0.01重量%〜約2.0重量%の酸化防止剤と、
約0.01重量%〜約10重量%の過酸化物と、を含む感圧接着性組成物であって、
前記水溶性親水コロイドガム及び前記水膨潤性凝集強化剤がまとめて、前記組成物のうちの約15重量%〜約65重量%で存在する、感圧接着性組成物。 - 前記組成物が、24時間以内に大腸菌またはMRSAの5より大きい対数減少を呈する、請求項19の感圧接着性組成物。
