扉に設けられた平面ハンドルに係合するよう装着され、外部からの信号を受けて前記平面ハンドルの開操作の可/不可を管理する外付け電気錠であって、
前記平面ハンドルの引き起こし先端方向の扉に装着される電気錠本体と、前記電気錠本体に基部が支持されて先端が前記平面ハンドルの少なくとも引き起こし先端部を覆う禁止バーとを有し、
前記禁止バーは、前記平面ハンドルの開操作が可能となるよう前方への回動が可能である一方、外部からの信号を受けて前記禁止バーの前方への回動を禁止させるロック機構及びその制御部を有し、
前記制御部の禁止制御により前記平面ハンドルの操作が禁止されることを特徴とする外付け電気錠。
