Description

The present invention relates to a paper towel bundle package in which a bundle of paper towels is wrapped with a packaging film. In particular, the present invention relates to a paper towel bundle package in which a bundle of pop-up paper towels formed by folding and laminating a plurality of paper towels is wrapped with a soft packaging film.

As shown in FIG. 10, paper towels such as paper towels and kitchen towels are commercialized by packaging a so-called pop-up paper towel bundle 120 formed by folding a plurality of sheets with a soft packaging film 110.

This paper towel bundle package 101 is provided with a perforation line or the like on the upper surface portion of the packaging film 110 to form a slit-shaped crevice opening 130 to widen the crevice opening 130. In addition to a mode in which a bundle of paper towels 120 is taken out from the packaging film 110 and set in a dispenser or the like, the packaging film 110 is used as an exterior without using a dispenser, and the paper towels 102 are popped up one by one from the crevice opening 130. Can be taken out and used sequentially.

And when taking this latter usage mode, when one paper towel exposed from the crack opening 130 is pulled out, since the packaging film 110 is soft with the drawer, the upper surface portion is pulled out. Deforms to lift up with a paper towel. In the conventional paper towel bundle package 101, when the number of paper towels 102 constituting the paper towel bundle 120 in the initial stage of use is large, the distance between the upper surface of the paper towel bundle 120 and the upper surface portion of the packaging film 110 is small. Since the margin between the packaging film 110 and the paper towel bundle 120 is small, even if the upper surface portion of the packaging film 110 is lifted when the paper towel 102 is pulled out, the degree of deformation is small and the deformation is restored. Is also triggered, and paper towels can be pulled out in a pop-up manner.

However, when the number of paper towels 102 constituting the paper towel bundle 120 decreases, when the upper surface portion of the packaging film 110 is lifted when the paper towel 102 is pulled out, the upper portion of the soft packaging film is bundled. The shape retaining property is lost, and the crack opening 130 does not open widely and is held by the edge of the crack opening, and a part of the paper towel that should be exposed from the crack opening 130 falls into the inside. For example, it may be difficult to pop out one by one and take it out.

On the other hand, since the paper towel is used for hand-wiping after hand washing, an operation of picking up and pulling up a part of the paper towel exposed from the tear opening 130 may be performed with a wet hand. In the conventional paper towel bundle package 101, when the paper towel is picked up with the wet hand and pulled up, the water dripped from the hand may enter the inside through the crack opening 130 and wet the bundle. Further, there is a possibility that dirt, dust and the like enter from the crack opening 130 to contaminate the bundle, and there is a place to improve in terms of hygiene. In particular, the intrusion of moisture or the like from these crack openings 130 becomes remarkable when the number of the paper towels 102 constituting the bundle 120 of paper towels is reduced and the crack openings 130 are opened widely.

Therefore, the main problem of the present invention is that even if the number of paper towels constituting the bundle to be included decreases, the paper towel does not fall into the packaging film and can be popped out well from the start of use to the end. And it is providing the paper towel bundle package which a water | moisture content etc. do not penetrate | invade into a packaging film easily.

Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to FIGS.

In the paper towel bundle package 1 according to the present embodiment, a bundle 20 of paper towels formed by folding and laminating a plurality of paper towels 2 is wrapped by a soft packaging film 10 having a perforated line 3 formed on the upper surface portion 11. The paper towels 2 are taken out one by one from a cleaving opening 30 formed by cleaving the perforation line 3 and used.

The bundle 20 of paper towels 2 is a so-called pop-up, in which square paper towels 2 are folded in two and stacked so that the edges of the folded pieces are positioned on the folded inner surface of the adjacent paper towels. The outer shape is the top surface where the folded piece of the top paper towel is located, the bottom surface where the folded piece of the bottom paper towel is located, the long side where the folded edges of each paper towel are lined up, paper It has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape with a short side surface on which towel edges are arranged. In the paper towel bundle 20 having this structure, when one folded piece of the paper towel located at the uppermost or lowermost position is pulled, the next folded piece adjacent immediately below it is dragged by friction or the like. Be pulled. The bundle 20 of paper towels 2 can be manufactured by a known interfolder. The size of the bundle 20 of paper towels is a general size of this type of bundle. The shape of the top and bottom surfaces is 60 to 130 mm × 200 to 300 mm, and the height is about 30 to 110 mm.

The paper towel 2 is not particularly limited and can be one ply or a plurality of plies of two or more plies. The paper towel 2 may be appropriately embossed. In particular, the paper towel in which the effect of the present invention is remarkable has a basis weight of 10 to 70 g / m 2 per ply based on JIS P 8124 (1998). In addition, the paper thickness was adjusted sufficiently under the conditions of JIS P 8111 (1998), and then a dial thickness gauge (thickness measuring instrument) “PEACOCK H type” (manufactured by Ozaki Seisakusho) was used under the same conditions. To 150 to 500 μm. Based on JIS P8113, the dry tensile paper force (longitudinal) is 800 to 3000 cN, and the dry tensile paper force (lateral) is 400 to 2000 cN. The wet tensile paper strength is based on JIS P 8135, the wet tensile paper strength (longitudinal) is 200 to 1500 cN, the wet tensile paper strength (lateral) is 100 to 1000 cN, and the elongation (tensile elongation at break) is 10 to 40%. It is. In addition, the sample in each tension paper force and elongation rate is a measured value in 25 mm width.

The packaging form of the bundle 20 of the paper towel 2 by the packaging film 10 is a cylindrical package or bundle in which the two openings of the tubular film are closed so that the short edge side of the bundle 20 of the paper towel has a sealing edge 10E. It is possible to provide a pillow package having sealing edges on the short side surface and the bottom surface side. In addition, the presence or absence of gusset is not necessarily limited. However, since the bundle of paper towels has a rectangular parallelepiped shape having a height, a packaging form in which an inner region close to the shape is formed is preferable. It is desirable that the gusset packaging have Gusset packaging is a packaging form often found in the packaging of paper towel bundles, and the effects of the present invention are particularly prominent. In the form shown in the figure, it is a preferable cylindrical packaging in which two openings of the cylindrical film are closed, and in particular, a gusseted packaging with a gusset.

The packaging film 10 is made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polystyrene (PS), polyvinyl chloride alcohol (PVA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ethylene / vinyl acetate polymer ( A known soft film such as EVA) can be used. A laminated film in which a plurality of film materials are laminated may be used. Among them, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyethylene terephthalate are particularly desirable because they are flexible and have excellent packaging properties and handling properties such as excellent heat-sealing property at the time of opening sealing, and are inexpensive.

The thickness of the packaging film is preferably 20 to 60 μm. If the thickness is less than 20 μm, the strength for holding the thin paper is insufficient, and problems such as tearing of the fused portion due to heat fusion occur. If it exceeds 60 μm, the workability such as heat fusion is deteriorated, and the productivity is greatly reduced.

On the other hand, the perforation line 3 is for forming a slit-shaped tear opening in the upper surface portion 11 of the packaging film 10 located facing the upper surface of the inward bundle of paper towels 20. It is formed in a straight line so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the paper towel package 1 at the center in the short direction. The perforation line 3 can be formed by a perforation line such as a double perforation line and a zipper perforation line in addition to a single perforation line. The method of forming the perforation line 3 can be formed by a known technique, and the cut tie ratio and the like may be appropriately set in a range that allows for tearing in consideration of the material, thickness, and the like of the packaging film. .

The length of the perforation line 3 is preferably 100 to 120% with respect to the length of the paper towel bundle 20 in the longitudinal direction. Further, the both side portions may extend to the short side surface side. By setting it to 100% or more, when the paper towel 2 is pulled out from the paper towel bundle 20 through the slit-shaped cleaving opening 30 formed by cleaving the perforation line 3, the paper towel bundle 20 in particular is drawn. The paper towel 2 can be pulled out smoothly without being caught at both ends of the crack opening 30 at both end edges in the longitudinal direction. Further, when the paper towel bundle package 1 is not used in such a manner that the paper towel bundle package 1 is pulled out from the crack opening 30 one by one, but in a usage mode in which the paper towel bundle 20 is set in a dispenser, the crack opening 30 is further expanded. A wide opening is formed so that the inner paper towel bundle 20 can be easily taken out, and the added value of the paper towel bundle 1 is increased.

On the other hand, the paper towel bundle package 1 according to the present embodiment is characterized by two inner films 4A and 4B having edges 41a and 41b parallel to the perforation line 3 on the inner surface of the upper surface portion 11 of the packaging film 10. Is glued. In addition, each of the inner films 4A and 4B has edges 41a and 41b that are parallel to the perforation line 3 alternately positioned across the perforation line 3, and the edge parts 41A and 41B are overlapped. Therefore, the perforation line 3 is located on the overlapping portion with the edge portions 41A and 41B. In addition, since any inner film 4A, 4B is located in the upper surface side or the bottom face side, it is not specifically limited. Furthermore, the edge portions 41A and 41B of the inner films 4A and 4B are not bonded to each other and are in a free state. Therefore, in the paper towel bundle package 1 according to the present embodiment, the paper towel 2 drawn out from the paper towel bundle 20 is drawn out from the tear opening 30 through the space between the edges 41a and 41b of the inner films 4A and 4B. .

The edges 41a and 41b parallel to the perforation line 3 in the inner films 4A and 4B are positioned so that the edges 41a and 41b extend in the same direction as the perforation line 3 and extend along the perforation line 3.・ It means being formed. The form shown is a straight edge 41a, 41b parallel to the perforation line 3, and this form is preferable. However, even if the edges 41a, 41b are formed in a zigzag or wave shape, the whole edge extends. The direction should just be the same direction along a perforation line. Moreover, the edge which curves a little so that the center part of a transversal direction may bulge or dent as a whole may be sufficient.

The materials of the inner films 4A and 4B are polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polystyrene (PS), polyvinyl chloride alcohol (PVA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ethylene / vinyl acetate heavy A known soft film such as coalescence (EVA) can be used. A laminated film in which a plurality of film materials are laminated may be used. Among them, polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate are preferable because they are inexpensive and have a slightly higher rigidity than the packaging film. The packaging film 1 and the inner films 4A and 4B do not need to be the same material.

The thickness of the inner films 4 </ b> A and 4 </ b> B is preferably 20 to 60 μm, similarly to the packaging film 1. However, it does not have to be the same thickness as the packaging film. If the thickness is less than 20 μm, the strength for holding the thin paper is insufficient, and problems such as tearing of the fused portion due to heat fusion occur. If it exceeds 60 μm, the workability such as heat fusion is deteriorated, and the productivity is greatly reduced.

The sizes of the inner films 4A and 4B can be appropriately designed according to the size of the paper towel bundle package, the length of the perforation line, the material of the film, and the like. In the case of the above-mentioned package of paper towels 20 having a general size, it is desirable that the length L1 in the short direction is 30 to 70 mm, and the length L2 in the longitudinal direction is at least 100 mm or more. It is particularly desirable that the length is equal to or less than the length of the portion 11 in the longitudinal direction. In particular, when the length in the longitudinal direction is within the above range, the effect of the present invention is exhibited well.

On the other hand, the positions of the edges 41a and 41b of the films 4A and 4B are preferably equidistant from the perforation line 3, and the overlapping width L3 of the edges 41A and 41B is preferably 20 to 40 mm. The paper towel 1 can be easily pulled out in sequence, and by setting the overlapping width, the effect of preventing the paper towel from dropping into the packaging film is effectively exhibited.

Adhesion between the packaging film 1 and the inner films 4A and 4B is appropriately selected from film-to-film adhesion techniques such as adhesion by adhesive, thermal fusion, and ultrasonic fusion in consideration of the adhesion of each film material. Can be done. Adhesion between the packaging film 1 and the inner films 4A and 4B may be a position separated from the overlapping edges 41A and 41B. In a preferable bonding mode, it is desirable that the bonding portion 42 is formed along the perforation line 3 at the above-described position so that the inner films 4A and 4B are bonded to the packaging film 1 along the longitudinal direction thereof. In the illustrated form, linear adhesive portions 42, 42 are formed in parallel with the perforation line 3 over almost the entire longitudinal direction of the inner films 4A, 4B, and the inner films 4A, 4B are packaged along the longitudinal direction. It is made to adhere to the film 1. In addition, instead of being linear, a bonding portion may be partially arranged at a dotted line or at a predetermined interval so as to adhere to the packaging film over almost the entire longitudinal direction. When the inner films 4A and 4B are bonded to the entire length of the packaging film 1, the inner films 4A and 4B become wrinkles or twisted in the packaging film 1 when the paper towel 2 is pulled out. The pop-up property becomes better.

On the other hand, the paper towel bundle package 1 according to the present embodiment functions and acts as follows to prevent the paper towel 2 from falling into the packaging film 1 and pops up well from the start of use to the end. Moreover, the penetration | invasion into the packaging film 1 of a water | moisture content etc. is prevented.

First, FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating a state of the unused paper towel bundle package 1. 5 and 6 are views showing a state in which the first sheet or several paper towels 2 are pulled out from the unused state. As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, in the paper towel bundle package 1 of the present embodiment, the paper exposed from the fissure opening 30 when the first sheet or several paper towels 2 are pulled out. The inner film 4A located on the side of the folded edge 2a of the towel 2A is exposed from the tear opening 30, while the inner film 4B on the opposite side of the folded edge 2a of the paper towel 2A is placed in the packaging film 1. It is in a state of being placed on the paper towel 2B to be pulled out and positioned immediately below the paper towel 2A.

In this state, each time the paper towel is pulled out, the position mode in each inner film is alternately changed. That is, as shown in FIG. 7, when the exposed paper towel 2A is pulled out, in the paper towel bundle 1 of this embodiment, the packaging film 1 and the inner films 4A and 4B are formed of a soft film. Therefore, especially the edge 41A side of the inner film 4A located on the folded edge 2a side of the drawn paper towel 2A and the vicinity of the perforation 3 of the packaging film 1 on the inner film 4A side are deformed, and the paper towel 2A Lift with. At that time, a part of the paper towel 2B to be withdrawn immediately below the drawn paper towel 2A is also pulled from the tear opening 30 by the drawn paper towel 2A due to the structure of the pop-up type bundle. It is lifted upward so as to be exposed. And the edge 41b side of the inner film 4B located on the folding edge 2b side of the next paper towel 2B and the vicinity of the perforation 3 of the packaging film 1 are also deformed, together with a part of the next paper towel 2B. When lifted, the fissure opening 30 opens wide.

Then, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, when the paper towel 2A to be pulled out is completely pulled out, the inner film 4A located on the folded edge 2a side of the paper towel 2A is separated from the paper towel 2A. The support film loses its support, and a force to return downward acts by the shape holding force and gravity of the packaging film 1 and the inner film 4A, and the inner film 4A and the inner film 4A are bonded together. The upper surface portion is lowered together and placed on the upper surface of the next next paper towel 2C. At the same time, a part of the paper towel 2B to be pulled out next is exposed from the tear opening 30, and the inner film 4B located on the folding edge 2b side of the paper towel 2B to be pulled out next is exposed from the crack opening 30. Become so.

Thus, each time the paper towel 2 is pulled out, the exposure of the inner film on the folded edge side of the paper towel to be pulled out and the movement of the inner film on the folded edge side of the paper towel to be pulled out on the paper towel are as follows. Each inner film 4A, 4B is alternately performed, and any one of the inner films 4A, 4B is always located immediately below the crack opening 30 to prevent the paper towel 2 from falling, and moisture from the crack opening 30 Intrusion of dust, dirt, etc. is prevented. Further, the upper surface portion of the inner film and the packaging film placed on the paper towel presses the upper surface of the bundle, so that the pop-up is performed smoothly.

Furthermore, in particular, the paper towel bundle 20 is constituted by an increase in weight of the upper surface portion of the packaging film 1 by the inner films 4A and 4B, and by a restoring force or the like in which the part of the paper towel that is partially exposed tries to return to the bundle shape. Even when the number of paper towels 2 to be reduced is decreased, the upper surface portion of the packaging film 1 is lowered downward, so that the distance between the upper surface portion of the bundle 20 of paper towels and the upper surface portion 11 of the packaging film 1 is not easily separated. Even if the number of paper towels 2 decreases, a part of the paper towel 2 exposed from the tear opening 30 is unlikely to fall into the packaging film 1.

Moreover, in the paper towel bundle package 1 which concerns on this embodiment, the overlap part of edge part 41A, 41B of each inner film 4A, 4B can be located inside the crack opening 30, for example, the crack opening 30 is provided. Once formed, the paper towel 2 is pulled out and used, and then when the paper towel 2 exposed from the tear opening 30 is returned into the packaging film 1, the opening is closed by the overlap of the edges 41A and 41B. It is difficult for water, dust, dirt and the like to enter through 30, and such use can be performed.

The function / action of the paper towel bundle package 1 of the present embodiment and the effect thereof become more remarkable by taking a desirable configuration such as the length of the perforation line 3 described above. In particular, the packaging film 1 and the inner films 4 </ b> A and 4 </ b> B are more likely to exhibit the above functions when the rigidity of the inner films 4 </ b> A and 4 </ b> B is higher than that of the packaging film 1.

Next, the effect of the paper towel bundle package according to the present invention will be clarified by showing a specific example. First, as a comparative example of the present invention, the paper towel removal property in a paper towel bundle package in which the inner films 4A and 4B are not provided was examined. Paper towels are embossed 2-ply kitchen paper with a 1-ply rice basis weight of 24 g / m 2 , a 2-ply paper thickness of 350 μm, a longitudinal length of 230 mm, and a lateral length of 210 mm Was used. The bunch was made up of 200 sets of 200 pieces of this kitchen paper folded into a pop-up type.

The packaging film was made of polyethylene having a thickness of 40 μm, and the packaging was made into a gusseted package by using the packaging film. In addition, as for the shape of the upper surface part of the packaging film at the time of packaging, the length of the longitudinal direction was 210 mm, the length of the transversal direction was 120 mm, and the length of the perforation line was 240 mm.

The paper towel removal property test was performed a total of four times according to the following procedures (1) to (4).
(1) Adhere two 15 mm × 110 mm double-sided tapes (“Nystack (registered trademark) NW-15” manufactured by Nichiban Co., Ltd.) so that wrinkles and slack do not occur on the bottom portion of the paper towel bundle 1.
(2) Next, the release paper of the double-sided tape is peeled off, and the paper towel bundle package is affixed to an experimental bench with a smooth surface and fixed.
(3) Next, the perforation line of the paper towel bundle package is cleaved to form a cleaving opening, and the longitudinal center of the kitchen paper is chucked from the cleaving opening and is perpendicular with a force of 0.1 to 0.3 N Pull out.
(4) The operation of (3) is performed on all kitchen papers, and out of 100 sets of kitchen paper in the packaging film, the next kitchen paper has fallen from the fissure after being pulled out, and the total number of sets , I recorded the order of the set (set). The results are shown in Table 1 below. The brackets indicate the order (group) of kitchen paper that was depressed and could not be removed.
The test results are shown in Table 1 below.

Figure 2016067757
Figure 2016067757

As shown in Table 1, in the paper towel bundle package having no inner film on the inner side surface of the upper surface portion of the packaging film, at least six sets of kitchen paper to be taken out next fall down from the fissure opening and cannot be taken out, In particular, it becomes remarkable after the 50th set, especially after the 90th set.

Subsequently, as an example of the present invention, the paper towel bundle package in which the inner film is attached to the inner surface of the upper surface portion of the packaging film is the same as in the comparative example in the procedure of (1) to (4). A take-out test was conducted. For the examples, a plurality of examples in which the dimensions of the inner film and the length of the overlap width were changed were tested. In addition, the inner film in an Example is a 30-micrometer-thick polyethylene, The other kitchen paper, the bundle, the packaging film, and the packaging form were made the same as that of a comparative example. The inner film was bonded so that the edges of the pair of inner films were both straight and the edges were equidistant from the perforation line 3.

The results of the test are as shown in Tables 2 to 4 below. Table 2 shows the results of Examples in which the longitudinal length of the inner film is 210 mm and matches the longitudinal length of the upper surface portion of the packaging film, and Table 3 shows the longitudinal length of the inner film of 150 mm. Table 4 shows the results of the example in which the longitudinal length of the inner film is 100 mm.

As shown in Tables 2 to 4, in the examples of the present invention, only one set (the 85th set) was observed in the case where the longitudinal length of the inner film was 210 mm. It has been found that paper towels are significantly prevented from falling.

From the above results, according to the paper towel bundle package 1 of the present invention, even when the number of paper towels constituting the bundle of paper towels to be included decreases, the paper towels do not fall into the packaging film and start to use.
