FIG. 5 is a front view showing the relationship between the fixing member of the vehicular lamp and the LED module, FIG. 6 is a view in the direction C of FIG. 5, and FIG. 7 is an arrow in FIG. FIG. 8 is a perspective view of the fixing member as viewed obliquely from above, and FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the fixing member as viewed from obliquely below.

The vehicular lamp 1 according to the present embodiment is used as a fog lamp disposed on the left and right of the front portion of the vehicle, and the basic configuration is the same on the left and right. Only will be shown and described.

As shown in FIG. 3, the vehicular lamp 1 according to the present embodiment includes a light source in a lamp chamber 4 defined by a holding member 2 that also serves as a housing and a reflector and a transparent outer lens 3 that covers a front opening thereof. LED 5 (see FIG. 7) and an LED module 7 constituted by a flat substrate 6 to be mounted are accommodated, and a part of the outer lens 3 is covered with an extension 8.

The holding member 2 is integrally formed of a light impermeable resin, and the lamp chamber 4 is formed by fixing the outer peripheral edge of the outer lens 3 to the peripheral edge of a circular opening opening on the front surface thereof. Yes. The lower half of the holding member 2 constitutes an elliptically curved reflector portion 2A, and the inner surface of the reflector portion 2A is formed with a reflection surface 2a by applying a reflection process such as aluminum vapor deposition. Yes. Further, a horizontal substrate holding portion 2B is integrally formed above the reflector portion 2A of the holding member 2, and the substrate 6 of the LED module 7 is fixed to the substrate holding portion 2B by a clip-like fixing member 9. Has been. The substrate holder 2B does not necessarily have to be horizontal.

As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the fixing member 9 is formed in a U shape by bending a metal plate having a spring property, and at the left and right ends of the vertical portion 9A at the front end, The upper and lower first arms 9B to 2C 9C bent at a right angle toward the right and left sides are provided, and the pair of left and right upper and lower first arm portions 9B and 9C sandwich the LED module 7 from above and below. Thus, a first fixing portion that fixes the LED module 7 to the holding member 2 in the vertical direction is configured. Here, the left and right first arms 2B constituting the first fixing portion are respectively formed with locking claws 9a by cutting and raising, and the left and right second arms 2C are bent in a horizontal shape. A hemispherical pressing protrusion 9b is integrally projected on the upper surface in the vicinity of the bent portion. In addition, an engagement portion 9c that is folded at a predetermined angle is formed at the tip of each of the left and right second arms 2C.

Further, a pressing piece 9D is bent inwardly in a U-shape from the upper end in the width direction of the vertical portion 9A of the fixing member 9 and extends substantially vertically downward. The pressing piece 9D The 2nd fixing | fixed part fixed to the holding member 2 in the front-back direction is comprised.

Furthermore, a pair of left and right rectangular flat plate-like heat dissipating portions 9E are perpendicular to the rear from the upper end of the vertical portion 9A of the fixing member 9 between the left and right first arms 9B and the central pressing piece 9D. It is provided by being folded.

By the way, the vertical portion 9A of the fixing member 9 is formed in a T-shape when viewed from the front, and a rectangular flat plate-shaped light shielding portion 9F is bent at a right angle toward the rear from the lower end thereof to be below the second arm 9C. Extends horizontally. As shown in FIG. 7, the light shielding portion 9 </ b> F covers the electronic component 10 and the connector 11 mounted on the substrate 6 of the LED module 7 from below and forms a light distribution among direct light emitted downward from the LED 5. It functions to block out miscellaneous light that does not contribute to the light.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a cord protecting portion 9G bent at a right angle toward the rear is provided on the side end of the vertical portion 9A of the fixing member 9 as well. As shown in FIG. 2, the cord protector 9G includes two power supply cords 12 extending from a power source (not shown) and connected to the connector 11, and edges of the fixing member 9 (side edges of the vertical portion 9A). This is to protect the power supply cord 12 by preventing disconnection of the power supply cord 12 due to the interference.

Thus, the LED unit 7 is fixed to the holding member 2 by the fixing member 9 as follows.

That is, before the outer lens 3 is attached to the front opening of the holding member 2, the LED module 7 is inserted into the holding member 9 from the front opening of the holding member 2, and the upper surface of the substrate 6 is the substrate of the holding member. The holding portion is held in contact with the lower surface of the holding portion, and its rear end surface is pressed against the positioning step 2b formed at the rear end portion of the substrate holding portion 2B of the holding member 2 as shown in FIG. The LED module 7 is positioned with respect to the holding member 2.

Next, from the above state, the fixing member 9 is inserted into the holding member 2 from the front to fix it. That is, in a state where the LED module 7 is sandwiched from above and below with the holding member 2 by the pair of left and right first arms 9B and 9C constituting the first fixing portion of the fixing member 9, the fixing member 9 is secondly fixed. The pressing piece 9 </ b> D constituting the part is pushed backward until it presses the front end surface of the substrate 6. Then, as shown in FIG. 4, the locking claws 9a of the pair of left and right first arms 9B of the fixing member 9 are locked to the locking portions 2c of the holding member 2, and the pair of left and right second arms 2C are The engagement portion 9c at the distal end is engaged with the engagement portion 2d of the holding member 2, and the second arm 9C is bent so that the pressing protrusion 9b presses the lower surface of the substrate 6 upward. For this reason, the LED module 7 is sandwiched from above and below together with the holding member 2 by the first arm 9B and the second arm 9C of the fixing member 9, and the LED module 7 is fixed to the holding member 2 in the vertical direction. Further, the pressing piece 9D of the fixing member 9 presses the front end surface of the substrate 6 backward, so that the substrate 6 and the step piece 2D formed at the rear end portion of the substrate holding portion 2B of the holding member 2 are pressed. Therefore, the LED module 7 is fixed to the holding member 2 in the front-rear direction.

Thus, in the vehicular lamp 1 configured as described above, when a current is supplied from the power source (not shown) to the LED 5 of the LED module 7 via the power supply cord 12, the LED 5 emits light, and the light is The light is emitted downward. The light traveling downward in this manner is reflected by the reflecting surface 2a of the reflector 2A of the holding member 2 and travels forward of the vehicle (left side in FIG. 3), passes through the transparent outer lens 3 and radiates toward the front of the vehicle. Is done. In this case, the miscellaneous light that does not contribute to the light distribution formation among the direct light emitted from the LED 5 is shielded by the light shielding portion 9 </ b> F of the fixing member 9.

Thus, in the vehicular lamp 1 according to the present embodiment functioning as a fog lamp, the electronic component 10 mounted on the substrate 6 is covered from below by the light shielding portion 9F of the fixing member 9, and therefore the vehicular lamp 1 The electronic component 10 does not appear in the reflector portion 2A of the holding member 2 when the lamp is not lit, and the design of the vehicular lamp 1 when not lit is improved.

Here, if the lower surface of the light-shielding portion 9F of the fixing member 9 facing the reflector portion 2A of the holding member 2 is colored, the vehicle lamp 1 appears to be colored when not lit, and the design of the vehicle lamp 1 Is further enhanced. Further, as shown in FIG. 10, if a light extraction portion 9d such as “123” is formed in a part of the light shielding portion 9F of the fixing member 9, direct light from the LED 5 is extracted when the vehicular lamp 1 is turned on. Since the light passes through the portion 9d, the number “123” of the extracted portion 9d is projected onto the road surface, and the design of the vehicular lamp 1 is further enhanced. In addition, the extraction part 9d formed in the light-shielding part 9F of the fixing member 9 is not limited to a numeral, and may be a character, a pattern, or the like.

Further, in the present embodiment, since the heat radiation of the substrate 6 is promoted by the heat radiating portion 9E provided in the fixing member 9, the temperature rise of the LED 5 mounted on the substrate 6 can be suppressed low, and the light emission efficiency of the LED 5 And a reduction in service life is prevented.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, since the cord protecting portion 9G is provided on the fixing member 9, interference with the edge of the fixing member 9 of the power feeding cord 12 is prevented, and disconnection of the power feeding cord 12 is prevented. The effect that durability is improved is also acquired.

In the above, the embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a vehicular lamp used as a fog lamp has been described.
