Description
Claims (20)
- ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールをガスタービンエンジン内に固定する接続アセンブリであって、
径方向に延びる締結具によって取り外し可能に相互に固定された第1の部材および第2の部材
を含む、接続アセンブリ。 - 前記締結具は、前記ガスタービンエンジンの流路を通じてアクセス可能である、請求項1に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記締結具の前記流路への進入を回避するために、前記締結具が前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュール内に捕捉されている、請求項2に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記第1の部材は、前記ガスタービンエンジンの翼上部分へ接続されており、前記第2の部材は、前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールへ接続されている、請求項1に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記第1の部材および第2の部材は、第1のブラケットおよび第2のブラケットをそれぞれ含み、前記第1のブラケットは、第1の1組の締結具によって前記ガスタービンエンジンの翼上部分へ固定されており、前記第2のブラケットは、第2の1組の締結具によって前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールへ固定されている、請求項4に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記第1のブラケットは、入口案内ベーンアセンブリの内径シュラウドへ固定されている、請求項5に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記内径シュラウドは、可変型の入口案内ベーンの軸受部材の周囲に配置された第1の部分および第2の部分を含み、前記第1の1組の締結具により、前記第1のブラケットと前記第1の部分および第2の部分とが相互に固定されている、請求項6に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールは、ファン中間ケースを含み、このファン中間ケースは、入口支柱および後部支柱と、軸受が取り付けられるセンターボディ支持部とを有し、前記第2のブラケットは、前記ファン中間ケースおよび前記センターボディ支持部へ固定されている、請求項5に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記第1の部材および第2の部材は、前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールを前記ガスタービンエンジンの構造と整列させるように設けられた補完的形状の嵌め合い外形面を含む、請求項1に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記外形面はシェブロン形状である、請求項9に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- 前記締結具は、前記外形面を通じて延びている、請求項10に記載の接続アセンブリ。
- ガスタービンエンジンであって、
軸を中心に回転可能な複数のファンブレードを含むファンと、
翼上部分であって、
コンプレッサ部と、
前記コンプレッサ部と流体連通する燃焼器と、
前記燃焼器と流体連通するタービン部と
を含む、翼上部分と、
前記ファンを前記軸を中心に回転させるように前記タービン部へ連結されたファン駆動歯車システムモジュールと、
前記翼上部分および前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールへそれぞれ固定された第1の部材および第2の部材を含む接続アセンブリであって、前記第1の部材および第2の部材は、径方向に延びる締結具によって取り外し可能に相互に固定される、接続アセンブリと
を含む、ガスタービンエンジン。 - コアナセル内に配置されたコア流路を含み、前記ファンは前記コア流路から上流に配置されており、前記締結具は、バイパス流路を通じてアクセス可能である、請求項12に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記締結具の前記コア流路への進入を回避するために、前記締結具が前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュール内に捕捉されている、請求項13に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記第1の部材は、前記コンプレッサ部の入口案内ベーンアセンブリの内径シュラウドへ固定されており、前記内径シュラウドは、可変型の入口案内ベーンの軸受部材の周囲に配置された第1の部分および第2の部分と、前記第1の部材ならびに前記第1の部分および第2の部分を相互に固定する第1の1組の締結具とを含む、請求項12に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記第1の部材および第2の部材は、前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールを前記翼上部分と整列させるように設けられた補完的形状の嵌め合い外形面を含み、前記締結具は、前記外形面を通じて延びている、請求項12に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- ガスタービンエンジンの保守点検方法であって、
バイパス流路を露出させるようにファン部をガスタービンエンジンの翼上部分から取り外し、
ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールを前記翼上部分から分離するために、前記バイパス流路を通じて締結具を操作すること
を含む、方法。 - 前記取り外すステップは、ファンハブからスピナーを取り外し、前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールからファンナットを取り外すことを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールを前記翼上部分から分離するために、シャフトナットをシャフトから取り外すステップを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記操作するステップは、前記締結具を緩めて前記ファン駆動歯車システムモジュールを入口案内ベーン内径シュラウドの直径から取り外すことを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
