上記関連する複数のeNBカテゴリに基づいて、MTCトラフィックが許可されている検出された上記複数の無線セルのうちの1つ又は複数の無線セルを特定し、
セル選択基準に基づいて、特定された上記1つ又は複数の無線セルのうちの無線セルに選択的に加わる処理回路

複数の無線セルの個々の無線セルを提供する複数のeNBに関連する複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリ(eNBカテゴリ)を特定する工程、及び
特定された複数の上記eNBカテゴリ、及びを選択される無線セルを提供する上記eNBの1つ又は複数の相対的な信号強度又はリトライカウンタの期限を含むセル選択基準に基づいて、上記複数の無線セルから、マシンタイプコミュニケーション(MTC)ユーザ機器(UE)がMTCトラフィックを送信又は受信するために加わる無線セルを選択する工程
を実行させるためのプログラム。

上記選択は、さらに、選択された上記eNBから取得されたMTCポリシーに基づき、上記MTCポリシーは、上記eNBがMTCトラフィックを許可する環境を特定する、項目20に記載のプログラム。

上記環境は、特定の位置又はその近くに存在する上記MTC UEを備える、項目21に記載のプログラム。

上記環境は、ジオフェンスの範囲内に存在する上記MTC UEを備える、項目21又は22に記載のプログラム。

複数の無線セルの個々の無線セルを提供する複数の進化型ノードBに関連する複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリを特定する手段と、
特定された上記複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリ、及びを選択される無線セルを提供する進化型ノードBの1つ又は複数の相対的な信号強度又はリトライカウンタの期限を含むセル選択基準に基づいて、上記複数の無線セルから、上記マシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置がマシンタイプコミュニケーショントラフィックを送信又は受信するために加わる無線セルを選択する手段と
を備えるマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。

上記選択は、さらに、選択された上記進化型ノードBから取得されたマシンタイプコミュニケーションポリシーに基づき、上記マシンタイプコミュニケーションポリシーは、上記進化型ノードBがマシンタイプコミュニケーショントラフィックを許可する環境を特定する、項目26に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。

上記環境は、特定のタイプのユーザ機器である上記マシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置を備える、項目27から29のいずれか一項に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。

上記複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリ、又は上記マシンタイプコミュニケーションポリシーは、非アクセス層シグナリングを使用して取得される、項目27から29のいずれか一項に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。
Claims (31)
- マシンタイプコミュニケーション(MTC)ユーザ機器(UE)であって、
進化型ノードB(eNB)によってそれぞれ提供される複数の無線セルを検出し、
前記複数の無線セルの個々の無線セルに関連する複数のeNBカテゴリを検出し、
前記関連する複数のeNBカテゴリに基づいて、MTCトラフィックが許可されている検出された前記複数の無線セルのうちの1つ又は複数の無線セルを特定し、
セル選択基準に基づいて、特定された前記1つ又は複数の無線セルのうちの無線セルに選択的に加わる処理回路
を備えるMTC UE。 - 前記処理回路は、さらに、
前記特定された1つ又は複数の無線セルに対して、前記MTC UEが接続することが許可されている複数のMTC専用のeNBのリストを照合し、
前記照合の結果にさらに基づいて、前記無線セルに選択的に加わる、請求項1に記載のMTC UE。 - 前記処理回路は、さらに、
eNBから、複数のMTC専用のeNBの前記リストを取得する、請求項2に記載のMTC UE。 - 前記処理回路は、さらに、
非アクセス層(NAS)シグナリングを使用して、複数のMTC専用のeNBの前記リストを取得する、請求項2に記載のMTC UE。 - 前記処理回路は、さらに、
前記リスト上の前記複数のMTC専用のeNBのいずれもが前記MTC UEにサービス提供できないことを判断し、
前記eNBがMTCトラフィックを許可する環境を特定する前記eNBのMTCポリシーに基づいて、MTC及び非MTCトラフィックの両方にサービス提供するeNBを特定する、請求項2に記載のMTC UE。 - 前記MTCポリシーは、eNBによって提供され、又はオープンモバイルアライアンスデバイス管理(OMA−DM)構成を使用する前記MTC UE上に構成される、請求項5に記載のMTC UE。
- 前記環境は、予め定められた位置又はその近くに、ジオフェンスの範囲内に存在する前記MTC UE又は特定のタイプのMTC UEを備える、請求項5に記載のMTC UE。
- 前記セル選択基準は、前記特定された1つ又は複数の無線セルの信号強度又はリトライカウンタの期限を備える、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のMTC UE。
- 前記処理回路は、さらに、
接続モードからアイドルモードに前記MTC UEを遷移させ、
アイドルモードである間、
eNBによってそれぞれ提供される他の複数の無線セルを定期的に検出し、
前記他の複数の無線セルの個々の無線セルに関連する複数のeNBカテゴリを検出し、
前記関連する複数のeNBカテゴリに基づいて、MTCトラフィックが許可されている検出された前記他の複数の無線セルのうちの1つ又は複数の無線セルを特定し、
前記MTC UEが事前に選択的に加わった前記無線セルから、前記検出された他の複数の無線セルの特定された前記1つ又は複数の無線セルのうちの他の無線セルへのハンドオフを、前記セル選択基準に基づいて選択的に開始する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のMTC UE。 - 前記処理回路は、ネットワーク過負荷の検出に基づいて前記eNBから、接続モードからアイドルモードへ遷移する又は前記eNBへの接続をリリースするための命令を取得し、他のeNBを介して次の通信をリダイレクトするようにさらに構成される、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のMTC UE。
- 進化型ノードB(eNB)であって、
無線セルを提供し、
前記無線セルを検出するマシンタイプコミュニケーション(MTC)ユーザ機器(UE)に、前記eNBがMTCトラフィックを許可する環境を特定するMTCポリシーを提供し、
前記MTCポリシーに基づいて、前記MTC UEに選択的にサービス提供する処理回路
を備えるeNB。 - 前記処理回路は、さらに、非アクセス層(NAS)シグナリング及び無線リソース制御(RRC)シグナリングの少なくとも一方を使用して、前記MTC UEに前記MTCポリシーを提供する、請求項11に記載のeNB。
- 前記処理回路は、さらに、前記eNBが接続されるネットワークの一部が過負荷であるという判断に応答して、前記MTC UEをリリースし、前記MTC UEのリリースは、前記MTC UEのアイドル又は切断モードへの遷移、又は新しいeNBへのリダイレクトを備える、請求項11に記載のeNB。
- 前記ネットワークの前記一部は、前記eNBによって提供される前記無線セルである、請求項13に記載のeNB。
- 前記環境は、予め定められた位置又はその近くに存在する前記MTC UEを備える、請求項11から14のいずれか一項に記載のeNB。
- 前記環境は、ジオフェンスの範囲内に存在する前記MTC UEを備える、請求項11から14のいずれか一項に記載のeNB。
- 前記環境は、特定のタイプのMTC UEである前記MTC UEを備える、請求項11から14のいずれか一項に記載のeNB。
- 前記処理回路は、さらに、
複数のモビリティ管理エンティティ(MME)を検出し、
複数の前記MMEの個々のMMEに関連する複数のMMEカテゴリを検出し、
前記関連する複数のMMEカテゴリに基づいて、MTCトラフィックに専用の検出された前記複数のMMEのうちの1つ又は複数のMMEを特定し、
MME選択基準に基づいて、特定された前記1つ又は複数のMMEのうちのMMEを選択するように構成される、請求項11から14のいずれか一項に記載のeNB。 - 前記複数のMMEカテゴリは、1つ又は複数のS1インターフェース上で検出される、請求項18に記載のeNB。
- コンピュータに、
複数の無線セルの個々の無線セルを提供する複数のeNBに関連する複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリ(eNBカテゴリ)を特定する工程、及び
特定された複数の前記eNBカテゴリ、及びを選択される無線セルを提供する前記eNBの1つ又は複数の相対的な信号強度又はリトライカウンタの期限を含むセル選択基準に基づいて、前記複数の無線セルから、マシンタイプコミュニケーション(MTC)ユーザ機器(UE)がMTCトラフィックを送信又は受信するために加わる無線セルを選択する工程
を実行させるためのプログラム。 - 前記選択は、さらに、選択された前記eNBから取得されたMTCポリシーに基づき、前記MTCポリシーは、前記eNBがMTCトラフィックを許可する環境を特定する、請求項20に記載のプログラム。
- 前記環境は、特定の位置又はその近くに存在する前記MTC UEを備える、請求項21に記載のプログラム。
- 前記環境は、ジオフェンスの範囲内に存在する前記MTC UEを備える、請求項21又は22に記載のプログラム。
- 前記環境は、特定のタイプのUEである前記MTC UEを備える、請求項21又は22に記載のプログラム。
- 複数の前記eNBカテゴリ、又は前記MTCポリシーは、非アクセス層(NAS)シグナリングを使用して取得される、請求項21又は22に記載のプログラム。
- マシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置であって、
複数の無線セルの個々の無線セルを提供する複数の進化型ノードBに関連する複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリを特定する手段と、
特定された前記複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリ、及びを選択される無線セルを提供する進化型ノードBの1つ又は複数の相対的な信号強度又はリトライカウンタの期限を含むセル選択基準に基づいて、前記複数の無線セルから、前記マシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置がマシンタイプコミュニケーショントラフィックを送信又は受信するために加わる無線セルを選択する手段と
を備えるマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。 - 前記選択は、さらに、選択された前記進化型ノードBから取得されたマシンタイプコミュニケーションポリシーに基づき、前記マシンタイプコミュニケーションポリシーは、前記進化型ノードBがマシンタイプコミュニケーショントラフィックを許可する環境を特定する、請求項26に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。
- 前記環境は、特定の位置又はその近くに存在する前記マシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置を備える、請求項27に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。
- 前記環境は、ジオフェンスの範囲内に存在する前記マシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置を備える、請求項27に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。
- 前記環境は、特定のタイプのユーザ機器である前記マシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置を備える、請求項27から29のいずれか一項に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。
- 前記複数の進化型ノードBカテゴリ、又は前記マシンタイプコミュニケーションポリシーは、非アクセス層シグナリングを使用して取得される、請求項27から29のいずれか一項に記載のマシンタイプコミュニケーションユーザ機器装置。
