Abstract
Description
(a)試料中の分析物濃度を測定するステップ、
(b)被検者の分析物レベルを示す、所定量の分析物を、試料中に導入するステップ、
(c)試料中の分析物濃度を再測定するステップ、
(d)ステップ(c)における濃度測定値と、その前の濃度測定値との差に基づき、被検者の分析物レベルを判定するステップ、および
(e)継時的な一連の判定を発生させるために、間隔をおいてステップ(b)〜(d)を繰り返すステップ
を含んでいる。
Claims (15)
- 被検者の分析物レベルを監視する方法であって、
(a)試料中の分析物濃度を測定するステップ、
(b)前記被検者の分析物レベルを表す、所定量の前記分析物を、前記試料中に導入するステップ、
(c)前記試料中の前記分析物濃度を再測定するステップ、
(d)ステップ(c)における濃度測定値と、その前の濃度測定値との差に基づき、前記被検者の分析物レベルを判定するステップ、および
(e)継時的な一連の判定を発生させるために、間隔をおいてステップ(b)〜(d)を繰り返すステップ
を含んでいる方法。 - 前記試料中の前記分析物濃度を測定するために用いられる処理は、前記試料中の前記分析物を部分的に消耗する請求項1記載の方法。
- ステップ(c)における前記測定は、各測定が、前記分析物の少ない割合のみを消耗し、それにより前記試料中の前記分析物濃度が連続する間隔にわたって高くなるように制御される請求項2記載の方法。
- ステップ(d)における前記分析物レベルの判定は、前記測定処理による前記試料中の分析物の消耗を考慮に入れるアルゴリズムを用いる請求項2または3記載の方法。
- ステップ(d)における前記分析物レベルの判定は、連続する測定間の間隔の間の、前記試料中の分析物の消耗を考慮に入れるアルゴリズムを用いる請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 各測定ステップ(c)と次の導入ステップ(b)との間には休止期間があり、
前記方法はさらに、各導入ステップ(b)の直前に、前記試料中の前記分析物濃度の暫定的な測定を行うステップをさらに含み、前記暫定的な測定値は、前記判定ステップ(d)における濃度の以前の測定値として用いられる請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 第1測定ステップ(a)の前に、所定量の前記分析物を前記試料中に導入する初期ステップをさらに含む請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記初期ステップにおいて前記試料中に導入される前記分析物の量は、前記被検者以外の供給源に由来する請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記初期ステップは、前記センサの安定した動作を達成するために、前記試料中の前記分析物濃度の、繰り返される一連の測定を実行することをさらに含んでいる請求項7または8記載の方法。
- 前記測定ステップ(c)は、一連の測定を行い、一連の測定において選択された測定の平均を計算することを含む請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記判定ステップ(d)は、判定された分析物レベルにおいて、閾値を越える変化を生じる全ての測定を拒否することを含む請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記判定ステップ(d)は、判定された分析物レベルが実質的に安定化されるまでの全ての測定を拒否することを含む請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- (b)前記被検者の分析物レベルを表す、所定量の分析物を、前記試料中に導入するステップは、前記被検者の間質液から前記所定量の分析物を抽出するために、リバースイオントフォレーシスを実施することを含む請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- (b)前記被検者の分析物レベルを表す、所定量の分析物を、前記試料中に導入するステップは、前記所定量の分析物を含む体液を前記被検者から抽出するために、マイクロニードルを用いることを含む請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記分析物がグルコースである請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
