Description
Claims (22)
- 上部開放チャンバを備えた金属スクラップ浸漬装置であって、前記上部開放チャンバは、耐熱材料からなる壁と、前記チャンバの底部又は側壁に配置された入口と、前記チャンバの前記底部又は側壁に配置された出口と、前記チャンバの前記側壁に隣接する傾斜部を含み、前記側壁は更に、溶融金属流に影響を与える部分を含むことを特徴とする装置。
- 前記部分は、バッフル、ベーン、通路、拡散形状又は収束形状、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記部分は、前記側壁から前記チャンバ中心に向かって延びる少なくとも1つのバッフルからなる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記バッフルは、前記底部の上側に間隔を置いて配置されている、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記バッフルは、前記側壁の周囲に連続して延びる、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記側壁上に間隔を置いて配置された複数のバッフルを備える、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のバッフルの少なくとも2つは、前記チャンバ内で異なる高さに位置決めされる、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記バッフルは、前記チャンバの前記底部に向かう傾斜面を備える、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記部分は、前記側壁に配置され、前記チャンバと隣接する容器との間を流体連通する通路を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記通路は、前記出口直径よりも小さな直径を有する、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記通路は、前記傾斜部の上方に位置決めされる、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記傾斜部は、前記底部から前記側壁まで延びる傾斜面を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記傾斜部は、前記底部に係合する第1の端部と前記底部の上方で終端する第2の端部とを有する、前記側壁から延びる棚部を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記棚部は、前記チャンバの周囲を0°より大きく270°までの間で延びる、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記傾斜部は、前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間で約5°から15°の間の傾いた斜面を有する、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記側壁から延びる前記棚部の少なくとも全体的に上向きの面は、内向きに傾斜しているか又は外向きに傾斜しているかのいずれかである、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記部分は、前記傾斜部に隣接して内向きに傾斜するか又は外向きに傾斜する、前記側壁の少なくとも一部を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 側壁入口及び底部出口を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 上部開放チャンバを備えた金属スクラップ浸漬装置であって、前記上部開放チャンバは、耐熱材料からなる壁と、前記チャンバの側壁に配置された入口と、前記チャンバの底部に配置された出口と、前記側壁から延びる棚部を含む傾斜部とを備え、前記棚部は、少なくとも全体的に上向きの面を含み、前記上向きの面は、内向きに又は外向きに傾斜していることを特徴とする装置。
- 前記棚部は、前記側壁と係合する第1の縁部と、前記出口を定める内壁と係合する第2の縁部とを含む、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 上部開放チャンバを備えた金属スクラップ浸漬装置であって、前記上部開放チャンバは、耐熱材料からなる壁と、前記チャンバの側壁又は底部のいずれかに配置された入口と、前記チャンバの底部に配置された出口と、前記側壁から延びる棚部を含む傾斜部とを備え、前記棚部は、少なくとも全体的に上向きの面を含み、前記上向きの面は内向きに又は外向きに傾斜しており、前記チャンバ側壁は、さらにバッフル、ベーン、ドロスウエルと流通する通路、前記傾斜部に隣接した直径の変化、及びこれらの組み合わせの少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする装置。
- 上部開放チャンバを備えた金属スクラップ浸漬装置であって、前記上部開放チャンバは、耐熱材料からなる壁と、前記チャンバの底部又は側壁に配置された入口と、前記チャンバの前記底部又は側壁に配置された出口と、前記チャンバの前記側壁に隣接する傾斜部とを備え、前記側壁は、前記チャンバの側壁に隣接する溶融金属流を攪乱する手段をさらに含むことを特徴とする装置。
