Abstract
Description
以下、本発明は添付図面を参照して、例として説明される。
Claims (15)
- 血管外脈動血液ポンプであって、
前記脈動血液ポンプを心腔(LV;RV)に接続する第1の導管(L1)と、
前記脈動血液ポンプを血管(AO;PA)に接続する第2の導管(L2)と、
ある動作では前記第1の導管(L1)を通して血液を吸引しかつ同時に前記第2の導管(L2)を通して血液を駆出し、他の動作では前記第2の導管(L2)を通して血液を吸引しかつ同時に前記第1の導管(L1)を通して血液を駆出し、ある動作と他の動作を交互に行うようにされている双方向ポンピングシステム(P;P、M)と、
所定の心調律に従って、一方の方向と他方の方向(R)に、交互に前記ポンピングシステム(P;P、M)を動作させるために設けられている制御手段(St)と、
を含むことを特徴とする血管外脈動血液ポンプ。 - 請求項1に記載の脈動血液ポンプであって、心調律データを取得し、それを前記制御手段(St)に送信するために前記制御手段(St)と連結されているセンサ手段(S)を含むことを特徴とする脈動血液ポンプ。
- 請求項1または2に記載の脈動血液ポンプであって、前記ポンピングシステム(P;P、M)は、前記第1の導管(L1)に取り付けられている、可変容積(V1)を有する第1のポンピング室(1)と、前記第2の導管(L2)に取り付けられている、可変容積(V2)を有する第2のポンピング室(2)とを有し、前記第1のポンピング室(1)と前記第2のポンピング室(2)が互いに結合されていることにより、血液が前記第1の導管(L1)を通って前記第1のポンピング室(1)内に吸引されるときに、血液が前記第2のポンピング室(2)から前記第2の導管(L2)内へ駆出され、逆の場合も同様であることを特徴とする脈動血液ポンプ。
- 請求項3に記載の脈動血液ポンプであって、前記第1のポンピング室(1)は、可変容積を有する第1のコンプライアンス室(C1)と共に第1の複室を形成しており、前記第2のポンピング室(2)は、可変容積を有する第2のコンプライアンス室(C2)と共に第2の複室を形成しており、各可変間仕切り(M1、M2)により、前記第1のポンピング室(1)は前記第1のコンプライアンス室(C1)から分離されており、前記第2のポンピング室(2)は前記第2のコンプライアンス室(C2)から分離されており、前記ポンピングシステムは、前記第1のコンプライアンス室(C1)と前記第2のコンプライアンス室(C2)との間で流体を行き来させるよう吐出するようにされているポンプ(P)を含むことを特徴とする脈動血液ポンプ。
- 請求項4に記載の脈動血液ポンプであって、前記間仕切り(M1、M2)はそれぞれ可撓性膜を含むことを特徴とする脈動血液ポンプ。
- 請求項4または5に記載の脈動血液ポンプであって、前記流体は液体であることを特徴とする脈動血液ポンプ。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の脈動血液ポンプであって、前記ポンピングシステムは差動ポンピングシステムであることを特徴とする脈動血液ポンプ。
- 請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の脈動血液ポンプであって、前記ポンピングシステム(P;P、M)は患者の身体内に埋め込まれるようにされていることを特徴とする脈動血液ポンプ。
- 心臓の拍動を支援する方法であって、
a)前記心臓の実質的に拡張期の間に、前記心臓(LV;RV)から第1の量の血液を除去し、第2の量の血液を血管(AO;PA)内に送り込むステップと、
b)前記拡張期の後続の前記心臓の収縮期の間に、前記血管(AO;PA)から前記第2の量に対応する量の血液を除去し、前記第1の量に対応する量の血液を前記心臓(LV;RV)内へ送り込むステップと、
c)前記ステップa)およびb)を複数回繰り返すステップと、
を含む方法において、
前記第1の量の血液および前記第2の量の血液は、同じポンピングシステム(P;P、M)により除去され、送り込まれることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9に記載の方法であって、前記心臓(LV;RV)および前記血管(AO;PA)から除去された前記血液は、前記ポンピングシステム(P;P、M)の別個のポンピング室(1、2)内に一時的に貯蔵され、同じ血液が、次の収縮期または拡張期に、前記心臓または前記血管内に再度送り込まれることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法であって、前記第1のポンピング室(1)は第1のコンプライアンス室(C1)と連結されており、前記第2のポンピング室(2)は第2のコンプライアンス室(C2)と連結されており、前記第1のコンプライアンス室(C1)および前記第2のコンプライアンス室(C2)のそれぞれを、満たすこと空にすることを交互にすることより、血流が前記第1のポンピング室(1)から前記心臓(LV;RV)内に、また前記第2のポンピング室(2)から前記血管(AO;PA)内にもたらされることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9から11のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、前記血液は前記心臓の左半分、詳細には左心室(LV)、を介して前記心臓から除去され、前記血液は大動脈(AO)を介して前記血管から除去されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9から11のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、前記血液は前記心臓の右半分、詳細には右心室(RV)、を介して心臓から除去され、前記血液は肺動脈(PA)を介して前記血管から除去されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9から13のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、前記血管(AO;PA)から除去される量より多量の血液が前記心臓(LV;RV)から除去されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9から13のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって、前記心臓(LV;RV)から除去される量より多量の血液が前記血管(AO;PA)から除去されることを特徴とする方法。
