Claims (2)

  1. エミッターと基準電極との間でコロナ放電中に両極イオンを生成することによって、電荷中和するための方法において、
    持続時間の短い鋭いマイクロパルスを生成し、
    各マイクロパルスが正電圧部分と負電圧部分とを含み、
    前記マイクロパルスが、正電圧および負電圧の大きさおよび振幅に関して非対称であり、
    少なくとも1つの極の電圧の大きさがコロナしきい値を超えるようにした方法。
  2. エミッターと参照電極との間のコロナ放電中に双極性イオンを生成する装置において、
    持続時間の短い鋭いマイクロパルスを生成するパルス駆動回路を具備し、
    各マイクロパルスが正電圧部分と負電圧部分とを含み、
    前記マイクロパルスが、正電圧および負電圧の大きさおよび振幅に関して非対称であり、
    少なくとも1つの極の電圧の大きさがコロナしきい値を超えるようにした装置
