Abstract
Description
本出願は、“Wireless Relay Module for Remote Monitoring System”という名称で2011年1月14日に出願された米国特許出願第13/006,769号の一部継続出願であり、“Medical Device Wireless Network Architectures”という名称で2011年1月14日に出願された米国特許出願第13/006,784号に関連し、それらの各々が本出願と共通の譲受人を共有し、全ての目的のため参照によりその全体において本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (18)
- 無線中継ネットワークを通して医療装置データを少なくとも1つの医療装置から無線で受信可能な受信器と、
前記無線中継ネットワークを通して医療装置データを第2の無線中継モジュールに無線で送信可能な第1の送信器と、
インターネットアクセス可能な無線通信ネットワークを通して前記医療装置データを無線で送信可能な第2の送信器と、
前記第1の送信器および第2の送信器に接続されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラが、前記受信器によって受信された前記医療装置データを送信するために、前記第1の送信器または前記第2の送信器のうちの1つを選択するために前記無線中継モジュールを制御可能であり、かつ、緊急状態が存在する場合、前記コントローラが、前記第1の送信器または第2の送信器を介して緊急応答者との接続を確立可能である、コントローラと、
前記コントローラに結合された電話装置であって、前記電話装置が、前記緊急応答者との前記接続を開始可能である、電話装置と、
前記電話装置に結合された信号生成器であって、前記信号生成器が、前記緊急応答者との前記接続を通して送信するために、前記緊急状態を示す信号を生成可能である、信号生成器と
を備える、無線中継モジュール。 - 前記コントローラが、前記緊急状態が存在するかどうかを:
前記医療装置データを、前記コントローラに関連したメモリ内に格納された緊急状態データと比較すること、
インターネットアクセス可能なソースから受信または中継された緊急状態データ、および
前記受信器によって無線中継ネットワークソースから受信された緊急状態データ
のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて判断可能である、
請求項1に記載の無線中継モジュール。 - 前記医療装置データが、緊急状態が存在していることを示す緊急状態データを含む、請求項1に記載の無線中継モジュール。
- 前記コントローラが、前記緊急状態に関する情報を含むメッセージを遠隔位置に送信するために、前記第1の送信器または前記第2の送信器のうちの少なくとも1つを制御可能である、請求項1に記載の無線中継モジュール。
- 前記コントローラが、前記緊急応答者との前記接続が確立されていないと判断し、かつ無応答メッセージを送信するために前記第1の送信器または前記第2の送信器のうちの少なくとも1つを制御することがさらに可能である、請求項1に記載の無線中継モジュール。
- 前記緊急状態を表す緊急状態データおよびタイムスタンプ、前記緊急状態を送信している前記1つもしくは複数の医療装置の各々に対する識別子、前記1つもしくは複数の医療装置の位置のうちの1つまたは複数を格納するためのメモリと、
前記格納された緊急状態データにおける傾向を識別するために、前記メモリ内に格納された前記データを分析するための前記コントローラに関連付けられた監視ユニットと
をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の無線中継モジュール。 - 前記信号生成器が、前記緊急応答者に送信される前記緊急状態に関する情報を含む電子テキストメッセージを生成するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の無線中継モジュール。
- 前記医療装置データが、前記無線中継モジュールを一意に識別するために使用されるシリアル番号を含む、請求項1に記載の無線中継ネットワーク。
- 前記受信器ならびに前記第1の送信器および第2の送信器のうちの少なくとも1つが送受信装置として実装される、請求項1に記載の無線中継ネットワーク。
- 無線中継モジュールで1つまたは複数の医療装置から無線で送信された医療装置データを受信するステップと、
無線中継モジュールで前記受信されたデータの少なくとも一部が緊急状態を示していると判断するステップと、
前記無線中継モジュールで前記緊急状態を示す緊急信号を生成するステップと、
前記無線中継モジュールによって、前記緊急信号を、無線中継ネットワークを通して送信可能な第1の送信器および前記緊急信号をインターネットアクセス可能な無線通信ネットワークを通して送信可能な第2の送信器のうちの1つを選択するステップと、
前記第1の送信器または前記第2の送信器のうちの前記選択された1つによって、緊急応答者との無線接続を確立するステップと、
前記生成された緊急信号を、前記第1の送信器または前記第2の送信器のうちの前記選択された1つによって前記緊急応答者に送信するステップと
を含む、コンピュータ化された方法。 - 前記判断するステップが、
緊急状態が存在するかどうかを判断するために、前記受信されたデータを前記無線中継モジュールに格納された緊急状態データと比較するステップ、
前記データが緊急状態を示しているかどうかを判断するために、緊急状態データを前記インターネットアクセス可能な無線通信ネットワークを介して受信するステップ、および
前記データが緊急状態を示しているかどうかを判断するために、緊急状態データを無線中継ネットワークソースから受信するステップ
のうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 失敗した試みまたは前記緊急応答者への中断された接続を検出するステップと、
前記第1の送信器によって前記1つまたは複数の医療装置に無応答メッセージを送信するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記緊急状態を表す緊急状態データならびにタイムスタンプ、前記緊急状態を送信している前記1つもしくは複数の医療装置の各々に対する識別子、および前記1つもしくは複数の医療装置の位置のうちの1つまたは複数をメモリに格納するステップと、
前記緊急状態における傾向を識別するために、前記格納されたデータを分析するステップと、
任意の識別された傾向に基づいて少なくとも1つまたは複数の医療装置で監視するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記信号が、前記無線中継モジュールを一意に識別するために使用されるシリアル番号を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも第1の無線中継モジュールおよび第2の無線中継モジュールであって、各無線中継モジュールが、医療装置データを含む信号を1つまたは複数の医療装置から無線中継ネットワークを通して受信可能である受信器を含む、少なくとも第1の無線中継モジュールおよび第2の無線中継モジュール、前記医療装置データをインターネットアクセス可能な無線通信ネットワークを通して送信可能な第1の送信器、ならびに前記医療装置データを無線中継ネットワークを通して送信可能な第2の送信器と、
それぞれのコントローラを含む前記第1の無線中継モジュールおよび第2の無線中継モジュールであって、各コントローラが、前記1つまたは複数の医療装置の前記位置に関連した情報を検出するために前記受信された医療装置データを処理し、かつ前記1つまたは複数の医療装置に対する位置情報データを生成することが可能である、それぞれのコントローラを含む前記第1の無線中継モジュールおよび第2の無線中継モジュールと、
前記位置情報データを遠隔監視装置に送信するために前記第1の送信器または第2の送信器のうちの1つをさらに選択可能である前記コントローラと
を備える、無線中継ネットワーク。 - 無線中継モジュールであって、
無線中継ネットワークを通して医療装置データを少なくとも1つの医療装置から無線で受信可能な受信器と、
前記無線中継ネットワークを通して医療装置データを無線で送信可能な第1の送信器と、
インターネットアクセス可能な無線通信ネットワークを通してデータを無線で送信可能な第2の送信器と、
位置信号を生成可能な位置装置と、
前記第1の送信器および第2の送信器に接続されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラが、前記受信器によって受信された医療装置データを送信するために、前記第1の送信器または第2の送信器のうちの1つを選択すること、および、緊急状態が存在する場合、前記第1の送信器または第2の送信器を使用して緊急応答者との接続を確立することが可能である、コントローラと、
前記コントローラに結合された電話装置であって、前記電話装置が、前記緊急応答者との前記接続を開始可能である、電話装置と、
前記電話装置に結合された信号生成器であって、前記信号生成器が、前記緊急状態を示す信号を生成すること、および前記第1の送信器または第2の送信器によって前記緊急応答者に送信するために前記位置信号を含めることが可能である、信号生成器と
を備える、無線中継モジュール。 - 前記位置信号が全地球測位システム(“GPS”)信号に基づく、請求項16に記載の無線中継ネットワーク。
- 前記位置信号が前記インターネットアクセス可能な無線通信ネットワークによって生成されたモバイル装置位置信号に基づく、請求項16に記載の無線中継ネットワーク。
