Description

The present invention relates to a lighting device suitable for a street lamp or the like installed mainly on a living road.

Many lighting fixtures using light-emitting elements (hereinafter referred to as LEDs) with low power consumption are installed not only in ordinary homes but also in commercial facilities and the like, and are also being adopted for lighting fixtures such as street lamps installed outdoors. In a street light that is installed on a pole arm on the roadside of a general living road and distributes a substantially elliptical light in the longitudinal direction of the road, lighting equipment that uses a fluorescent lamp as the light source widens the irradiation range. Therefore, prisms perpendicular to the optical axis direction are provided on both side surfaces of the translucent cover.

Incident light is set to be refracted upward by about 10 degrees in vertical angle by the prisms provided on both side surfaces of the translucent cover. In the case of a lighting fixture equipped with this translucent cover, light in the vertical angle direction of 75 degrees from the light control member will be emitted in the vertical angle direction of 85 degrees through the prisms on both side surfaces of the translucent cover, This light having a vertical angle of 85 degrees is a factor that makes pedestrians feel dazzling, that is, glare.

The glare is classified into “impossible glare” and “degraded glare” that physiologically impair the function of the eye and “discomfort glare” that causes psychological discomfort depending on the cause and degree. In particular, the elderly are generally prone to glare, and moreover, recovery from “impossible glare” tends to take time. In view of such a problem, in each country, an evaluation for calculating the degree of “uncomfortable glare” from three elements of “background luminance”, “light source luminance”, and “solid angle of light source in view” is performed.

By the way, there is a tendency that LEDs are often used for street lamps, etc., but this LED has a feature that the light emitting part is small and the luminance is very high compared with existing light sources such as incandescent bulbs, fluorescent lamps, and high intensity discharge lamps. is there. In addition, since the light emission distribution and the light distribution are significantly different from those of existing light sources, it cannot be completed as a luminaire simply by replacing the light sources with LEDs. In particular, LEDs tend to generate glare because the form of light emission is spot-like. Then, the lighting fixture aiming at employ | adopting LED and reducing a glare is proposed (for example, patent document 1).

The lighting fixture disclosed in Patent Document 1 includes a substrate on which an LED is mounted on a mounting portion that is inclined while a pair of both side portions are opened symmetrically upward and leftward, and the direction of light reflection with respect to the LED as a center. And a reflecting plate extending in the vertical direction on both sides of the mounting portion. The luminaire configured in this way is to reduce glare by visually recognizing a light source while suppressing the recognition of individual LEDs as one bright spot.

That is, the light emitted from the LED is reflected on both sides in the width direction of the reflecting surface of the reflecting plate that houses the LED, and the apparent size of the light source is increased. It was not designed to make the presence of bright spots interfere. Therefore, the light emitted from the LEDs travels straight from the individual reflectors, and there remains a risk that uniform illumination light cannot be obtained from the entire translucent cover.

In addition, each LED requires a reflector and is spaced from each other, so that the space efficiency in the arrangement direction is lowered, and it is not possible to easily add LEDs for increasing the amount of light. Although it is possible to consider increasing the number of LEDs in the reflector in order to increase the amount of light, the increase in the amount of light emission accompanying this increases the contrast, making it difficult to obtain uniform illumination light from the translucent cover. Will be.

Furthermore, in order to reduce glare, it is a necessary condition to suppress the emission of light with a vertical angle of 85 degrees or more that is particularly strongly dazzled. For this reason, the region of the connection portion between the luminaire main body and the translucent cover In addition, the structure must be able to block the light emitted from the LED. And when a lighting fixture is used as a street light, the lighting fixture main body is fixed to the tip of a pole arm installed on the street, but the installation work is simple because it is an altitude work of 4 to 5 meters from the ground. There must be easy maintenance and inspection work.

The present invention has been made to solve such a problem. In order to sufficiently obtain the brightness in the longitudinal direction of the road surface required for street lamps and the like, the illuminance at a vertical angle of 60 to 80 degrees is improved, and at the same time, a pedestrian An object of the present invention is to prevent the occurrence of glare by suppressing light in a direction with a vertical angle of 85 degrees or more that easily enters the field of view, and to obtain uniform illumination light from the entire translucent cover. In addition, it is possible to increase or decrease the light emitting section so that the required illuminance can be easily obtained according to the installation location and the surrounding environment, so that economical illumination can be achieved by rationally using electric energy. The purpose is to make it.

Therefore, the present invention solves the above problems by means described below. That is, in the first aspect of the present invention, a light source element in which a plurality of light emitting elements are arranged in a substantially linear shape on a substrate, and incident light from the light source element is emitted in a direction orthogonal to the arrangement direction of the light emitting elements. According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the lighting apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention, the light emitted from the light control member is a reflecting plate that reflects the lower region above a vertical angle of 75 degrees.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the lighting fixture according to the first aspect, the light source element, the light control member, and the reflection plate are fixed to the lower surface side, the lighting device is fixed to the upper surface side, and the tip is the lighting device main body. It is made to be the board | substrate which was connected so that rotation was possible.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the main instrument according to the third aspect, one or a plurality of light source elements and light control members to be fixed to the substrate are arbitrarily selected and unitized with the substrate. .

According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the luminaire according to the first aspect, a prism lens is disposed on the translucent cover so as to be substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the light emitting elements arranged in the light source element. To be.

According to the present invention, in order to obtain sufficient brightness in the longitudinal direction of the road surface required for street lamps, etc., the illuminance at a vertical angle of 60 to 80 degrees is improved, and at the same time a vertical angle of 85 degrees that is easy to enter a pedestrian or the like. The generation of glare can be prevented by suppressing the light in the region in the above direction, and uniform illumination light can be obtained from the entire translucent cover. In addition, it is possible to increase or decrease the number of light emitting units so that the required illuminance can be easily obtained according to the installation location and the surrounding environment, and it is possible to economically illuminate by rationally using electric energy.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, the number of light source elements and light control elements and the number of light control members is arbitrarily selected and fixed to the substrate to form a substrate unit. It can be easily configured. In addition, since the tip of the substrate is rotatably connected to the main body, the board unit is suspended from the tip of the main body in the installation work for fixing the end of the luminaire main body to a pole arm or the like. Wiring work becomes easy without dropping. In the maintenance and inspection work as well as the installation work, there is no possibility that the substrate unit falls from the opening of the main body, so that the safety of the work can be ensured.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side view showing an example in which a lighting fixture 1 of the present invention is attached to a pole arm P to be a street light, and the state of its internal structure is shown in FIGS. As shown in the figure, the main body 11 of the luminaire 1 has a hollow boat shape, has a projection opening 11a on the lower surface, and is integrally formed of a material excellent in corrosion resistance such as aluminum die casting.

As shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, a translucent cover having a prism lens 13a disposed on the inner surface so as to be parallel to the longitudinal direction of the light emitting elements arranged in the light source element, as shown in FIGS. A hinge fitting 12a connected to the tip of 13 is rotatably provided so that it is prevented from falling off from the main body 11 when the translucent cover 13 is released from the opening 11a. On the other hand, the rear end portion of the translucent cover 13 is provided with a clamp fitting 12b. The clamp fitting 12b is engaged with an angle 11b of the main body 11 as shown in FIGS. It can be fixed to the opening 11a.

As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, a substrate 15 whose outer shape is shaped to follow the opening 11 a is disposed at a portion of the opening 11 a of the main body 11. A dull hole 15a is formed in the flange 15d on the rear side of the substrate 15. A mounting screw 14 is screwed into the dull hole 15a, and a small diameter portion of the dull hole 15a is fixed to the support boss 11d of the main body 11.

As shown in FIGS. 8, 9, and 10, the front end of the substrate 15 is extended with a locking piece 15b, bent at the tip thereof to become an upright piece 15b-1, and locked with the substrate 15. A dharma hole 15c is formed at the boundary with the piece 15b. On the other hand, the angle member 16 that engages with the locking piece 15b has slits 16a-1 formed in the vertical end 16a, and both ends of the horizontal end 16b are suspended from the main body 11 by mounting screws 18 on the support boss 11c. It is fixed.

The base plate 15 is attached to the angle member 16 by inserting the main portions of the upright piece 15b-1 and the locking piece 15b from the slit 16a-1 of the angle member 16, and screwing the attachment screw 19 into the small diameter portion of the dharma hole 15c. And it fixes to the support boss | hub 11c.

On the other hand, when removing the board 15 from the main body 11, the screwing of the mounting screws 14 and 19 is loosened, and the board 15 is slid so that the mounting screws 14 and 19 are positioned at the large diameter portions of the dharma holes 15a and 15c. As a result, the heads of the mounting screws 14 and 19 can be passed through the large diameter portions of the dharma holes 15 a and 15 c, and the substrate 15 can be separated from the main body 11.

At this time, since the engagement between the locking piece 15b of the substrate 15 and the angle member 16 is maintained, the substrate 15 is not completely detached from the main body 11, and the substrate 15 is shown in FIG. For example, there is a possibility that the board 15 may fall if the connection of the connector 20 and the cable 22 of the lighting device 21 fixed to the board 15 in connection with the installation work or the inspection of the inside of the main body 11 is performed. Can be done without.

Next, the configuration of the light emitting unit 23 disposed on the lower surface of the substrate 15 will be described. As shown in FIG. 12, the light emitting unit 23 is configured as a unit by a combination of the light source element 24, the light control member 25, and the reflection plate 26. FIG. 13 shows a state in which the light source element 24 is seen through from the light control member 25.

As shown in FIG. 14, the light source element 24 has a plurality of light emitting elements 24a arranged in a substantially straight line on an insulating substrate, and an arbitrary amount of light emission can be obtained by increasing or decreasing the number of the light emitting elements 24a arranged. The light emitting elements 24a may be arranged in a zigzag shape, for example, as long as they are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the insulating substrate.

The light control member 25 is a transparent cylindrical prism, and emits incident light from the light source element 24 in a direction orthogonal to the arrangement direction of the light emitting elements 24a. Therefore, in the assembled state shown in the sectional view of FIG. The whole 24 is covered from the lower side so as to have a shape extending in the longitudinal direction.

The reflecting plate 26 extends in the downward direction in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the light control member 25, and the light directed from the light control member 25 toward the translucent cover 13 has a vertical angle of 60 to 80 degrees. The angle of the reflecting surface 26a is set so as to guide light in the direction and block light with a vertical angle of 75 degrees or more. In addition, although the reflector 26 may be arrange | positioned separately, when arrange | positioning the light emission part 23 in multiple rows, what was shape | molded integrally may be employ | adopted.

A mode of light emission by the light emitting unit 23 configured as described above will be described below based on a schematic diagram shown in FIG. FIG. 16A shows a case where the light emission of the light emitting element 24a is not controlled at all, and the spot-like emitted light RA1 having an emission angle of about 120 degrees is obtained. FIG. 16B shows a state of light emission when only the light control member 25 is disposed, and the light emission RA2 having an emission angle spread about 150 degrees in the lateral direction by the action of the light control member 25. FIG. 16C shows the emitted light RA3 when the reflector 26 is arranged in addition to the light source unit 23, that is, the light control member 25 according to the present invention.

As is clear from the above, when the emitted light RA1 is used, light and darkness is generated in the translucent cover 13. When the emitted light RA2 is used, light that causes glare is generated at the boundary between the main body 11 and the translucent cover 13. (See FIG. 20). However, the emitted light RA3 can improve the illuminance because the lateral light emitted from the light control member 25 is collected in the central direction by the reflector 26, and the glare is produced by the reflector 26 as shown in FIG. The light that causes this is completely blocked.

FIG. 17 shows a comparison of light emission modes of the emitted light RA2 and the emitted light RA3. The emitted light RA3 toward the translucent cover 13 has improved illuminance in the vertical angle range of 50 to 75 degrees, and has the highest illuminance at the vertical angle of 60 degrees. On the other hand, the illuminance in the range of the vertical angle of 85 to 110 degrees is greatly reduced, and the effect of the reflector 26 is shown.

In the above embodiment, the case where the light emitting units 23 are arranged in four rows has been described as an example, but the light emitting units 23 are arranged in one row in the center of the substrate 15 as shown in FIG. As shown in B), there may be three rows, and the number of light emitting units 23 can be arbitrarily increased or decreased according to the required illuminance.

As described above in detail, the lighting fixture of the present invention can be installed not only in a street light but also in a security light or in a building facility, its use is not limited, and the range of application is extremely wide. It is.
